Tsugumi Ōba (Profile in Japanese: 大場 つぐみ), born in Tokyo, Japan, is a writer best known for the manga Death Note. His/her real identity is a closely guarded secret. As stated by the profile placed at the beginning of each Death Note manga, Ōba collects teacups and develops manga plots while holding his knees on a chair, similar to a habit of L, one of the main characters of the series.

There is speculation that Tsugumi Ōba is a pen name and that he is really Hiroshi Gamō. Pointing out that in Bakuman the main character's uncle was a one-hit wonder manga artist who worked on a gag super hero manga, very similar to Gamō and Tottemo! Luckyman in all aspects. Also that the storyboards drawn by Ōba greatly resemble Tottemo! Luckyman in style.

The turn in the story made it lag a bit. It's not to mention that Light was the driving force of the story all this time. Now, everything seems to have taken an unexpected turn. The once-thrilling plot has lost some of its momentum. The new direction that the story has taken feels a bit forced and doesn't quite flow as smoothly as before. It's as if the author was trying to introduce a new element to keep the readers engaged, but in doing so, sacrificed the natural progression of the story. However, despite this setback, there are still some redeeming qualities. The characters are still well-developed and interesting, and the overall concept of the story is still unique and captivating. It will be interesting to see how the author manages to bring the story back on track and whether they can recapture the magic that made the earlier parts of the story so enjoyable.

In this area, there are already sufficient established rhythms.

There wasn't that jaw-dropping moment as in the previous four, but I can see that the continuity is being cultivated, which I believe will be very powerful.

This is an important aspect that shouldn't be overlooked.

We need to pay attention to the details and keep working on maintaining and strengthening this continuity.

With consistent effort, it has the potential to bring about significant results.

Misa really annoys me a great deal. I don't have any liking for this particular eight businessman at all.

This is by far the worst volume. The reason being that things have become completely unrelated to what we initially started with. Light has transformed into someone different. He is not as intellectually present as he used to be. On the other hand, L takes on more parts this time. However, I did like the way they were engaged in a battle of reason. What made them special was their rather weird relationship.

These eight men are extremely boring to read about. The action, if it's going to be of this nature, is simply not needed. It seems to add nothing to the overall story and only serves to make it less interesting. I hope that in the future volumes, things will improve and become more engaging and relevant.

The original text seems a bit unclear and perhaps contains some errors or informality. Here is an expanded and rewritten version:

The article seemed to have some rather lackluster parts. It seemed to slag on a few aspects in a not-so-engaging way. However, towards the end, I found myself getting a bit more interested. There was something about the conclusion that piqued my curiosity and made me want to know more. Maybe it was a new perspective or an interesting point that was raised. Despite the initial dullness, the end managed to salvage the overall experience to some extent. It made me think that perhaps there was more depth to the article than I initially thought. I will have to go back and re-read it to fully understand and appreciate the ideas presented.

I actually found myself enjoying the interpretation of how an adult would utilize a death note, which was something I initially thought I wouldn't take pleasure in.

THE WAY L KICKED LIGHT, THO!!! It was truly a remarkable moment.

Matsuda is so precious and yet so stupid at the same time, but somehow that's what makes me love him.

I've sort of drifted away from Misa a bit. She's become rather annoying.

I'm missing Ryuk so very much. I long for his return.

The Yotsuba arc, in my opinion, doesn't possess the same level of interest as the intense rivalry between Light, Misa, and L.

However, it cannot be denied that the fact that readers are completely unaware of the identity of the new Kira indeed adds a significantly deeper layer of suspense to the story.

At this moment, I am officially at the stage where I have decided to put aside the anime for now. The anticipation of not knowing what will happen next has truly piqued my excitement and made me eager for more.

It's that sense of mystery and the unknown that keeps pulling me back, making me wonder how the story will unfold and what twists and turns lie ahead.

I can't wait to see how the new Kira will be revealed and how it will impact the already complex web of relationships and power struggles between the characters.

Will the new Kira prove to be an even greater challenge for Light and L? Only time will tell.

Until then, I'll be patiently waiting and speculating about what's to come in this thrilling and captivating series.
