About the author

Tsugumi Ōba (Profile in Japanese: 大場 つぐみ), born in Tokyo, Japan, is a writer best known for the manga Death Note. His/her real identity is a closely guarded secret. As stated by the profile placed at the beginning of each Death Note manga, Ōba collects teacups and develops manga plots while holding his knees on a chair, similar to a habit of L, one of the main characters of the series.

There is speculation that Tsugumi Ōba is a pen name and that he is really Hiroshi Gamō. Pointing out that in Bakuman the main character's uncle was a one-hit wonder manga artist who worked on a gag super hero manga, very similar to Gamō and Tottemo! Luckyman in all aspects. Also that the storyboards drawn by Ōba greatly resemble Tottemo! Luckyman in style.

#JapaneseJune Book #6.
The tension in this volume is truly amped up, and it's just the second installment of the series! Light is walking on thin ice as L forms a special investigation unit and intensifies his suspect surveillance. Moreover, he has the girlfriend of a victim meddling in his affairs simultaneously. At times, I can't help but wonder how he manages to stay calm and composed. I'm not sure if I like him as a person, but as a character, he's incredibly fascinating, far more so than L in my opinion.
I'm excited to obtain the next two volumes. Since I've never read beyond this point before, I'm really enjoying my reading experience of this series much more the second time around. Hopefully, it will only get better! The story continues to unfold with such excitement and anticipation. I can't wait to see what will happen next to Light and how he will handle the increasing pressure. Will he be able to outwit L and continue with his plans? Or will he finally be caught? These questions keep me on the edge of my seat, eager to turn the pages and find out the answers.

To me apples are truly a unique and rather strange thing.

How can I explain this? It's almost as if they have a hold on me, much like cigarettes and alcohol have on some people.

They are like an irresistible vice. I find myself constantly drawn to them, unable to resist their allure.

Every time I see an apple, my eyes light up and my heart skips a beat.

It's a strange addiction, but one that I can't seem to shake.

Maybe it's the way they look, with their shiny red skin and perfect shape.

Or perhaps it's the taste, sweet and juicy on my tongue.

Whatever the reason, apples have become an important part of my life, just like cigarettes and alcohol are for others.

-Ryuuku the endearing Shinigami.

This is something that can only be read, and it is extremely addictive.

I am hooked!

Every time I pick it up, I find myself completely immersed in its world.

The words seem to dance on the page, pulling me in deeper and deeper.

I can't put it down, no matter how hard I try.

It's like a drug that I just can't get enough of.

I find myself constantly thinking about it, even when I'm not reading.

It has become a part of my daily routine, something that I look forward to every day.

I highly recommend it to anyone who loves to read and wants to be taken on an unforgettable journey.

Trust me, once you start reading, you won't be able to stop.

Ja: I am truly a force to be reckoned with. I am talented beyond measure, my skills shining through in every endeavor. I am brilliant, always coming up with innovative ideas and solutions. Incredible is an understatement when it comes to describing me. I am amazing, constantly astonishing those around me with my abilities. I am show stopping, commanding attention whenever I enter a room or take the stage. My performances are spectacular, leaving audiences in awe. I am never the same, always evolving and changing, keeping things fresh and exciting. I am k-totally unique, one of a kind, with a style and approach that is completely my own. I am completely not ever been done before, breaking boundaries and setting new standards. I am unafraid to reference or not reference, using my creativity to its fullest potential. I am not afraid to put it all in a blender, mix things up, and see what comes out. I am not afraid to shit on it, challenge the status quo, and make a mess if that's what it takes. I am not afraid to vomit on it, express my true feelings and opinions, even if they are unpopular. I am not afraid to eat it, take risks and embrace new experiences. And I am not afraid to give birth to it, bring new things into the world and share them with others.

I am truly enjoying the story SO, so very much! It is an extremely compelling one indeed! I have no doubt that I will want to have the series on my own shelves. :-)

It is highly readable, almost compulsively so. In fact, I found myself so eager to know what happened next that I kept reading and completely forgot to stop and look at the graphics T_T. This is my first encounter with any kind of graphical media in, I guess, about fifteen years. :-/ Even when watching movies and TV shows, if there are subtitles, I can't help but read them and compare with what is being said, rather than actually watching what is happening on the screen >_<.

But yes, I highly recommend this one. :-) I still sometimes stumble when it comes to the reading order of frames and speech bubbles if they deviate from the suggested "recipe", but then I just cross my fingers and hope I get it right xD.

I still liked it.

However, I thought that L connected the dots way too fast.

It seemed as if L was able to make connections and draw conclusions with remarkable speed.

This might have been impressive in some ways, but it also made the process feel a bit rushed.

I would have preferred it if L had taken a bit more time to explore each dot and the relationships between them.

By doing so, a more in-depth and comprehensive understanding could have been achieved.

Nevertheless, despite this minor criticism, I still found the overall experience enjoyable.

The story or situation that was being presented had its own charm and吸引力.

And although L's quick dot-connecting may have been a bit of a departure from what I expected, it didn't completely overshadow the other aspects that I liked.

Overall, it was still a worthwhile experience, and I look forward to seeing what else might come.

This manga is truly one of the great ones.

However, it has a rather unique characteristic. The characters in it are extremely talkative, which makes it stand out from any other manga I've ever read.

Moreover, the length of the story is just a little bit too long.

While the excessive dialogue can sometimes be overwhelming, it also adds depth and complexity to the characters and the plot.

Despite its flaws, I still appreciate this manga for its creativity and the unique world it has created.

It's a manga that you either love or hate, depending on your personal preferences.

But one thing is for sure, it's a manga that will leave a lasting impression on you.
