So Problematic

In today's society, we encounter various issues that can be described as "so problematic."

For example, environmental pollution is a major concern. The excessive emission of pollutants not only harms the ecosystem but also poses a threat to human health.

Another aspect is social inequality. There are still significant gaps in income, education, and opportunities among different groups, which can lead to social unrest and dissatisfaction.

In addition, the rapid development of technology also brings some problems. The overuse of electronic devices may cause problems such as eye strain and addiction, and the security of personal information is also at risk.

To address these problems, it is necessary for individuals, society, and the government to work together. We should raise awareness of environmental protection, promote social justice, and strengthen the management and regulation of technology. Only in this way can we build a more sustainable and harmonious world.

I don't really like the aggression of Doumy and that last thing was sexual aggression, I'm almost sure. I'm aware that perhaps in his time people didn't notice it but it is something serious. Let's see how the story progresses.

Doumy's behavior has been a cause for concern. His aggression, especially the suspected sexual aggression, is deeply disturbing. It's important to recognize that even if it wasn't noticed or taken seriously in the past, it doesn't mean it's not a significant issue. We need to pay attention to such behaviors and hold those accountable who engage in them. As the story unfolds, we should hope for justice to be served and for measures to be put in place to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

It's crucial that we create a society where everyone feels safe and respected, free from any form of aggression. By addressing these issues head-on, we can work towards a more harmonious and inclusive world.

That last chapter was truly powerful!

It had a profound impact on me, leaving me in awe and filled with a sense of wonder. The way the author crafted the story and built up to that final chapter was masterful. Every detail, every word seemed to be carefully chosen to create a climactic and unforgettable moment.

I found myself completely immersed in the narrative, my heart pounding and my emotions running high. The chapter brought together all the threads of the story, tying up loose ends and revealing the true essence of the characters and their journey.

EDIT: REREAD

After reading it for the first time, I knew I had to go back and reread it. There was just so much depth and complexity to it that I felt I had missed some of the finer details on my initial reading. Rereading it allowed me to appreciate the chapter even more, to pick up on the subtleties and nuances that I had overlooked before. It was like uncovering a hidden treasure chest of literary gems.

This story gives me great courage, but it is also so addictive.

The advantage of seeing the Chinese adaptation first is that I already know that all of this is going to be full of red flags.

It's like a double-edged sword. On one hand, the courage it instills makes me feel inspired and ready to face challenges. It shows that even in difficult situations, one can find the strength within to persevere.

On the other hand, knowing about the red flags beforehand makes me approach it with a certain level of caution. I am aware of the potential pitfalls and am more likely to analyze and think critically about the events and characters.

Overall, this story has a unique charm that keeps pulling me in, despite the knowledge of its possible flaws. It makes me reflect on my own life and how I can apply the lessons learned from it.

I completely forgot that I checked this out of the library until today. It's quite astonishing how this slipped my mind. The days just seem to pass by so quickly, and before I knew it, this book was sitting on my shelf, forgotten.

The only reason I am sticking with the series is that I like the minor characters and want to see what happens with them. They add such depth and interest to the story. Their individual personalities and storylines make the whole series more engaging. I find myself constantly curious about their fates and how they will interact with the main characters.

Although the main plot may have its moments, it's the minor characters that truly draw me in. They are like hidden gems that I can't wait to discover more about. So, despite my initial forgetfulness, I'm glad I still have this book to continue exploring the world of these fascinating characters.

Oh, that's not quite what I expected.

At first glance, it seemed like a straightforward situation, but as I delved deeper, I realized there was much more to it.

The details that emerged were both fascinating and a bit overwhelming.

I found myself grappling with the complexity of the matter, trying to make sense of it all.

It was as if I had entered a maze, with each turn leading to new questions and uncertainties.

But despite the confusion, I was determined to persevere.

I knew that understanding this would require patience and a willingness to explore every avenue.

So, I continued my investigation, hoping to uncover the truth that lay hidden beneath the surface.

With each passing moment, I felt myself getting closer to the heart of the matter, and I couldn't wait to see what awaited me.

Domyoji is truly awful and I have this intense urge to slap him right through the screen. It's quite frustrating to see his actions and behavior.

However, despite that, these mangas do offer a great deal of entertainment. They have their own charm and can keep you engaged for hours.

But there is one thing that I really wish they would do better. That is, handle the dark subject matter in a more profound and meaningful way. Instead of just brushing over it, they should explore it in-depth and give it the attention it deserves.

This would not only make the story more engaging but also make the readers think and reflect on the issues presented.

Oh man...

This story is truly full of problems. However, I find myself enjoying it just the way it is. There's something about it that keeps pulling me in, despite its flaws.

I also had the opportunity to watch the Korean Drama that was based on this very story. That experience has given me some deep and nostalgic feelings towards these characters.

Every time I think about them, it's like taking a trip down memory lane. The emotions and the storylines that unfolded in the drama have left a lasting impression on me.

Even though the original story might have its issues, the characters and the world they inhabit have a certain charm that I can't resist. It's a strange mix of enjoyment and recognition of the story's flaws, but it's a feeling that I quite cherish.

I guess that's the beauty of literature and its adaptations. They can touch us in different ways, even when they're not perfect.

And for now, I'm just going to continue enjoying this story and the memories it brings back.

AAAAND here's the part where I find it extremely morally difficult to root for the main couple. There is absolutely no question that what he did was blatantly wrong. Frankly speaking, I firmly believe that in real life, the girl should not forgive him so easily. If this girl happened to be my friend, I would go to great lengths and lock her up if necessary to keep her away from this guy. In fact, I might even be tempted to lock him up in jail! But you surely get my point.

It's just that his actions were so unforgivable that it's hard to envision a scenario where the relationship between them could be truly salvaged. The trust that was broken seems almost impossible to rebuild. However, in the world of fiction, sometimes things play out in unexpected ways. Maybe there will be some miraculous turn of events that will make me change my mind and start rooting for them. But as of now, my stance remains firm.

Pengen jedotin pala keriting Tsukasa ke tembok Beijing. It's really quite an absurd thought. Cemburu bin marah sih boleh-boleh aja coy, but it doesn't have to lead to such extreme actions as attempting a perverse act.

Blah, I can't stop thinking about why an arrogant bastard like Tsukasa can manage to live, breathe and have two legs. Of course, it's obvious that being human means having two legs. What, do octopuses have eight tentacles?

Okay, let's just ignore this unclear and absurd review of mine. Maybe I'm just in a strange mood and spouting all this nonsense. But seriously, Tsukasa's actions and attitude really do make me frustrated and angry at times.

Volume 3 of Boys Over Flowers presents some rather questionable aspects that make it a challenging volume to truly like.

Yet, I still find the series as a whole to be quite interesting.

A significant portion of this volume follows the typical melodramatic formula. All the characters are gathered at a party in a resort. Here, Domyoji and Tsukushi have an accidental kiss. Tsukushi is completely horrified as she has wasted her first kiss on someone she despises, especially since it was unintended. This theme of an accidental and unwanted first kiss is something I've also witnessed in other manga.

Rui, on the other hand, is embarrassed when his beautiful friend/crush realizes that he too has feelings for Tsukushi. There is some confusion as to whether he tries to seduce Shizuka or vice versa.

Then, Domyoji causes trouble for Tsukushi by telling everyone that she was all over him and is the laughing stock of the party, when in fact he is secretly fascinated by her.

When school resumes, the old bullying behavior returns, but this time it is much, much worse. Someone informs Domyoji that Tsukushi secretly likes Rui and only came onto him to make Rui jealous. This drives Domyoji into a complete frenzy of fury and jealousy, and he beats a guy nearly to death for no valid reason.

After that, he confronts Tsukushi, and this is where the volume takes a disturbing turn. He hits her and then begins groping and kissing her while Tsukushi shouts at him to stop. Suddenly, he stops and immediately apologizes, assuring her that he would never hurt her and that he is not that kind of guy.

I feel that Domyoji is being portrayed as a sort of hero in this manga series, albeit a complex and cruel one. However, I find it deeply troubling that a character who attempts to assault a girl could be presented in such a light.

Nevertheless, I will continue with this series to see how it ultimately concludes.
