CLAMP originally began in 1989 as a twelve-member dōjinshi circle, but by 1990, the circle had diminished from twelve to seven. Of the remaining seven, Tamayo Akiyama, Sei Nanao, and Leeza Sei left the group during the production of the RG Veda manga. Other former members of CLAMP also included Soushi Hishika, O-Kyon, Kazue Nakamori, Yuzuru Inoue and Shinya Ōmi. Currently, there are four members in the group.

In 2004, CLAMP's 15th anniversary as a mangaka group, the members changed their names from Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona Apapa, Mick Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi to Ageha Ohkawa, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi and Satsuki Igarashi (her name is pronounced the same, but written with different characters) respectively. The August 2004 issue of Newtype USA, a magazine specializing in events of the anime and manga subcultures, reported that the members of CLAMP simply wanted to try out new names. In a later interview with Ohkawa, it was revealed that initially Mokona wanted to drop her surname because it sounded too immature for her liking, while Nekoi disliked people commenting that her name was the same as Mick Jagger's. Ohkawa and Igarashi, wanting to go with the flow of Nekoi's and Mokona's name changes, changed their names as well.

In 2006, they made their first USA public debut at Anime Expo in Anaheim, California. They were well received at the convention, with 6,000 fans in attendance at their panel.

It suddenly occurred to me that every single adventure within Tsubasa could potentially be regarded as filler content.

Sure, it might be filler, but at least it has the ability to keep one entertained.

The art within the series still manages to stand out in a truly unique way.

Despite the fact that the adventures may not be essential to the overall plot in a traditional sense, they offer a certain charm and excitement that keeps the readers engaged.

The detailed illustrations and vivid colors bring the story to life, making it a visually appealing experience.

Even if one were to consider the adventures as filler, they still contribute to the overall atmosphere and enjoyment of the series.

So, while it may be filler, it's filler that has its own value and appeal.

So, as a matter of fact, I came across this particular item in a thrift store. And guess what? It was priced at only 4 dollars!

The volume contained an abundance of information regarding the world that they were presently in. It was truly quite fascinating. However, it ended with a cliffhanger. Now, I typically don't have a penchant for cliffhangers as they often leave me feeling frustrated. But in this case, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually enjoyed it.

It was a pleasant departure from my usual experience with such endings. I'm not entirely sure why this was the case, perhaps it was the way the story was built up or the anticipation it created. Whatever the reason, I'm glad I took a chance on this item from the thrift store.

With more memory feathers collected, Princess Sakura is finally beginning to recall certain aspects of her life prior to the accident.

However, curiously, she still cannot remember Sayoran. This reflection on her partially restored memories offers a much-needed thematic counterpoint to the group's adventures.

Up until now, the story had been somewhat monotonous, but this new development injects a fresh element.

Thanks to her new memories, Sakura has also cultivated an adventurous spirit that is bound to drive the rest of the group crazy.

We conclude the story with Sakura imprisoned in a castle along with kidnapped children, a consequence of her impetuous behavior.

Nevertheless, her rash actions might turn out to be positive as the group may now have a lead to find the missing children of the village of Spirit.

This sets the stage for further exciting developments and challenges in the upcoming chapters.

Rewrite of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle after a short one-month break. I was a bit afraid of having forgotten a lot of the previous volumes, but in the end, the events came back to mind quite quickly. I still love the story just as much.


Sakura is gradually regaining her memory. And frankly, the few passages that are shown to us are rather sad because Shaolan is not there. It's simple, there is still an emptiness.


But I have the impression that their love story will be stronger than these forgettings. One feels that there is still something between them. I really hope that it will end well, because they are made for each other!
