CLAMP originally began in 1989 as a twelve-member dōjinshi circle, but by 1990, the circle had diminished from twelve to seven. Of the remaining seven, Tamayo Akiyama, Sei Nanao, and Leeza Sei left the group during the production of the RG Veda manga. Other former members of CLAMP also included Soushi Hishika, O-Kyon, Kazue Nakamori, Yuzuru Inoue and Shinya Ōmi. Currently, there are four members in the group.

In 2004, CLAMP's 15th anniversary as a mangaka group, the members changed their names from Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona Apapa, Mick Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi to Ageha Ohkawa, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi and Satsuki Igarashi (her name is pronounced the same, but written with different characters) respectively. The August 2004 issue of Newtype USA, a magazine specializing in events of the anime and manga subcultures, reported that the members of CLAMP simply wanted to try out new names. In a later interview with Ohkawa, it was revealed that initially Mokona wanted to drop her surname because it sounded too immature for her liking, while Nekoi disliked people commenting that her name was the same as Mick Jagger's. Ohkawa and Igarashi, wanting to go with the flow of Nekoi's and Mokona's name changes, changed their names as well.

In 2006, they made their first USA public debut at Anime Expo in Anaheim, California. They were well received at the convention, with 6,000 fans in attendance at their panel.

This volume was completely centered around the race, and there were 3 chapters dedicated to the after-race festivities.

The designs for Piffle World are simply adorable! It's also yet another volume that concludes right as they depart from a world, which makes it a convenient point to take a brief hiatus from the series if one desires.

We still have all of our original mysteries intact, but now an additional one has been introduced. Dr. Kyle is also traversing the worlds???? I'm extremely hopeful that this mystery, along with Fei Wang, Syaorian's double, his missing memories and eye, Fai's entire history, and Syaorian's teacher, will be resolved shortly! Given Clamp's style, it will likely be in the final 4 volumes before we discover the answers!

The artwork is truly lovely, the story is engaging, and the characters are wonderful!

This arc progressed a bit slowly, but I still thought it was excellent! It can be a little repetitive as they simply move from one world to another in search of feathers, but obviously, I don't mind it! The little details in each world, the encounters with new people, and the mysteries within each world continue to keep me entertained!

Is it really over?

I cry for Tomoyo, the best character ♡♡♡. Tomoyo has always been such a kind and gentle soul. Her presence in the story brought so much warmth and light.

She was always there for the main character, offering support and understanding. Her selflessness and sacrifice are truly admirable.

It's so hard to see her go. The thought of not having her in the story anymore makes my heart ache.

But I guess all good things must come to an end. I will always remember Tomoyo and cherish the memories she gave us.

She will forever hold a special place in my heart as the best character. ♡♡♡

I didn't really like the resolution of the Piffle dragonfly race.

It seemed a bit too rushed and didn't fully satisfy my expectations.

The build-up to the race was quite exciting, with all the anticipation and the unique concept of the Piffle dragonflies.

However, when it came to the actual resolution, it felt like something was missing.

Maybe more details could have been added to make it more engaging and fulfilling.

On the other hand, I did enjoy the xxxHolic cross over.

It brought a new and interesting element to the story.

The combination of the two different worlds and characters was quite captivating.

It added a layer of complexity and depth that I really appreciated.

Overall, while the resolution of the Piffle dragonfly race was a bit of a letdown, the xxxHolic cross over made up for it to some extent.

I still hope that future installments will pay more attention to the details and provide more satisfying resolutions.

The bad thing about already knowing the end of TRC is that the goodbyes are sad because you already know that this Sakura will never see Tomoyo of Piffle again and this Shaoran either, and even less if CLAMP continues with the hiatus of Tsubasa World Chronicle. It gives me nostalgia but I also love the story. There were several drawings where Sakura appears with Tomoyo's clothing that made me want to draw and paint, hahahaha. I love how Kurogane is so Tsundere!! :3. Clamp is always very subtle in these things but it can be seen that Fye is bringing something with him...

This story has truly touched my heart in many ways. The complex relationships between the characters, especially the bond between Sakura and Shaoran, is both beautiful and heart-wrenching. The different worlds they visit and the challenges they face along the way add depth and excitement to the plot.

I can't wait to see what the future holds for this series, even if it's on hiatus for now. I hope CLAMP will continue to share their amazing creativity and bring more adventures and emotions to the fans.
