CLAMP originally began in 1989 as a twelve-member dōjinshi circle, but by 1990, the circle had diminished from twelve to seven. Of the remaining seven, Tamayo Akiyama, Sei Nanao, and Leeza Sei left the group during the production of the RG Veda manga. Other former members of CLAMP also included Soushi Hishika, O-Kyon, Kazue Nakamori, Yuzuru Inoue and Shinya Ōmi. Currently, there are four members in the group.

In 2004, CLAMP's 15th anniversary as a mangaka group, the members changed their names from Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona Apapa, Mick Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi to Ageha Ohkawa, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi and Satsuki Igarashi (her name is pronounced the same, but written with different characters) respectively. The August 2004 issue of Newtype USA, a magazine specializing in events of the anime and manga subcultures, reported that the members of CLAMP simply wanted to try out new names. In a later interview with Ohkawa, it was revealed that initially Mokona wanted to drop her surname because it sounded too immature for her liking, while Nekoi disliked people commenting that her name was the same as Mick Jagger's. Ohkawa and Igarashi, wanting to go with the flow of Nekoi's and Mokona's name changes, changed their names as well.

In 2006, they made their first USA public debut at Anime Expo in Anaheim, California. They were well received at the convention, with 6,000 fans in attendance at their panel.

Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 9 is yet another outstanding addition to this remarkable manga series by Clamp. I have an absolute passion for this series! In fact, I would go so far as to say that it is perhaps my all-time favorite. The reason for this lies in its unwavering consistency in presenting great storylines and stunning artwork.

I thoroughly enjoy reading about the main characters as they journey from one world to another in search of Sukura's memory feathers. Tsubasa is a colossal adventure filled with intense action and numerous exciting fighting scenes. What's more, the books are quick reads, which is a great advantage.

Some manga books tend to overwhelm the reader with an excessive amount of dialog due to their highly detailed and potentially confusing stories. However, this is not the case with Tsubasa. The reading experience is extremely easy, and the stories are always a delight.

Although I did find myself a bit confused when they transitioned to the new world and the statues came to life, my confusion dissipated quickly, and the story carried on smoothly. I'm still not entirely sure why there were two statues in the previous world that others worshipped. Hopefully, this will be clarified soon.

Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this series, and I found Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 9 to be another wonderful installment. I'm eagerly looking forward to uncovering the reason why Kurogane and Fai don't seem to recognize Syaoran in Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 10. I can't wait!

I rated this book a 9 out of 10.

Not sure I followed everything in this one, but I think I got the gist. It seems that there was a lot of information presented, perhaps in a complex or convoluted manner. However, through careful listening or reading, I was able to pick out the main points. Maybe there were some details that eluded me, but overall, I have a general understanding of the subject matter. It's possible that with further study or clarification, I could gain a more comprehensive knowledge. But for now, I'm satisfied with having grasped the essential ideas.

Amazing Twists

The person in the tank actually has a name, and it turns out they are connected to a certain person. This revelation adds a whole new layer of mystery and intrigue to the story.

Moreover, Syaoran's right eye is emphasized more. It was truly surprising to me. His right eye seems to hold some kind of significance or power that we are yet to fully understand.

I really like the whole storyline that weaves together the past and the present. It creates a sense of continuity and depth, making the story more engaging and immersive.

Also, it's interesting to learn about Syaoran's past. In the beginning, nothing was known about him, but now they are showing more of his background. This helps us to understand his character better and makes him more relatable.

Overall, these amazing twists and the exploration of Syaoran's past have made the story even more captivating and enjoyable.

Whenever they try to get Sakura's feather back, there's always some problem.

It seems as if fate is playing tricks on them. Just when they think they are close to retrieving the precious feather, something unexpected occurs.

Maybe it's a sudden change in the weather that makes their path difficult, or an unforeseen obstacle blocks their way.

Sometimes, they even encounter other characters who have their own motives and intentions, making the situation more complicated.

But despite all these difficulties, they never give up. They continue to search for the feather, determined to bring it back to Sakura.

With each attempt, they learn more about themselves and the world around them.

And although the road ahead is full of challenges, they believe that they will eventually succeed in getting Sakura's feather back.

I truly relished this volume.

The art within it struck me as significantly superior to that of the previous volume.

The details, the colors, and the overall aesthetic were all more refined and engaging.

Moreover, the plot has now reached a new level of maturity.

It has become more complex, with deeper character development and more intricate storylines.

The author has done an excellent job of building on the foundation laid in the previous volumes and taking the story in new and exciting directions.

I can't wait to see what the next volume has in store.

Overall, this volume has been a great addition to the series and has left me eagerly anticipating the next installment.

I really don't get it... I don't know if it's just me, but I understand nothing! Random dialogues of people that I didn't really understand what they want and especially: 1) what do they want?
2) and is Ashura or whatever it's called male or female?
My beloved Kurogane and Fay are gone and I miss them so much. Well, a lot of things are happening that (I think) have little to do with the plot.
I hope it gets better because I was loving this manga. :(

Maybe I need to read it again more carefully to catch all the details. Or maybe the story will become clearer as it progresses. I just hope that the author doesn't disappoint me and that the next chapters will bring more answers and less confusion.
I also wonder if there are any hidden meanings or subplots that I'm not seeing. Sometimes in manga, there are things that are not explicitly stated but are important for the overall story.
Well, only time will tell. For now, I'll keep reading and hoping for the best.

I always seem to end on a cliffhanger when I buy a few of these. It's both exciting and a bit frustrating. I really like the storyline in this one. It's engaging and full of twists and turns that keep me on the edge of my seat. OMG, this cover is beautiful. It catches my eye every time I look at it. The colors are vibrant and the design is so unique. It makes me want to pick up the book and start reading right away. I can't wait to see what happens next in the story. I'm sure it's going to be just as精彩 as the previous parts. I hope the author doesn't keep me waiting too long for the next installment.
