He talks about the power of enthusiasm, staying positive and solving problems without freaking out. Oh, and he shares these cool stories, like how a Pink Cadillac and Limousine rides came handy to great leaders who could think out of the box to empower and reward their teams.

Overall, Carnegie's book is like having a handy guide to leadership. It's full of cool stories and useful advice. Whether you're at work or just doing your thing in life, reading it can help you be a better leader and grow as a person.

Because it is rightly said, that Leadership is not a post, it is an attitude. A person on the lowest post can be a great leader and visa-versa.

Inti dari buku ini adalah : Kita harus memperlakukan orang seperti apa yang orang itu ingin diperlakukan, karena setiap orang harapannya berbeda. Jika kita memuji orang juga harus tulus dan diberikan ketika memang seseorang melakukan hal yang luar biasa bukan dilakukan terus menerus. Salah satu cara paling pasti untuk menjalin pertemanan dan mempengaruhi opini orang lain adalah dengan mempertimbangkan opininya, membiarkan mereka merasa penting. Buku ini bagus untuk para manager agar tau cara memperlakukan tim nya dengan baik.

Interesting to read the first of a tidal wave of self-help books. The chapters each focus on an individual topic, are filled with a myriad of real-life (often outdated) examples and conclude with a one-sentence take-away which makes you wonder why you even bothered reading all the examples in the first place.

Content-wise, I am not surprised about the rumour that Charles Manson used "How to Win Friends, Influence People and Succeed in a Changing World" since lessons such as "fake interest in other people so they like you", or "manipulate people into thinking that your ideas/opinions are actually theirs" are truly fit the psychopath's toolbox.

Excellent book, with a great insight on how you can influence people and become a true leader through actions in the business world, and in real world scenarios.

Easy read as this is a very intuitive book and very exciting all throughout, after reading 5 pages, the reader is eager to read 5 more, this is due to the vast informative information within the book.

Great insights to real life business persons experiences of leadership, with great interview like answers from CEO’s, business owners and big company employees, make the book very informative at all levels of business and shows how anyone can become a true leader in all fields, not just sales.

Since the world today is getting more and more virtual, the need for leaders of today (and tomorrow) to be relational is all the more important. I'm aspiring to be a better leader, I teach leadership lessons in churches and organized seminars twice per year. But based on my personality, relationships are not my strength. I have to work hard and intentional to strengthen my human-relations skills.

أُحب قلم هذا الرجل وكل ما يكتب رغم عدم ميلي لكتب التنمية الذاتية وعدم ثقتي فيها
ولكن مع كارنيجي فالوضع مختلف، فهو يبتعد عن الحشو في الكلام ويعطيك الخلاصة نقية من الشوائب ويدعم فكرته بقصص واقعية، كما أنه لا يستفزك بأفكار ومقترحات تافهة وغير قابلة للتطبيق.

في هذا الكتاب يقدم كارنيجي مجموعة من قواعد التعامل مع الناس ومجموعة من الأفكار مدعمة بقصص واقعية ليس لكي تكون قائداً أو مديراً ناجحاً في عملك فقط ولكن هي مفيدة حتى في حياتك الشخصية.

Beberapa kekurangan yang dapat saya temukan dalam buku ini,
saya mungkin merasa saran-sarannya terlalu formulaik ataupun memanipulatif bahkan saya rasa bahwa buku ini bukanlah buku bantuan diri untuk orang yang ingin membuat teman, melainkan membahas prinsip-prinsip dasar kepemimpinan dalam lingkungan kerja.

buku yang berisi banyak ilmu menarik tentang kepemimpinan, Dale Carnegie, memberikan penjelasan garis besar tentang bagaimana menjadi pemimpin yang efektif, yang mencakup pokok-pokok seperti komunikasi yang baik, empati, dan kejujuran.

Jarang sekali ya ada pemimpin yang seperti itu? Ya, pemimpin harus bisa membangun hubungan baik dengan orang lain, bangun kepercayaan dan rasa hormat, harus bisa memberikan kritik yang konstruktif, tau tujuan yang ingin dicapai dan mau melibatkan tim dalam perjalanan tersebut. Ya, pemimpin bukanlah dewa, dan kita harus mengakui pemimpin tidak mungkin mengetahui segala hal, namun sadarilah untuk menjadi pemimpin yang efektif dan sukses harus punya keahlian. Mungkin membaca buku ini bisa menambah keahlian interpersonal Anda juga sebagai pemimpin :)

هناك فرق بين القائد و المدير فالاول ملهم و مبدع اما الاخر فهو جزء من الهيكل الادارى .
اافضل ما فى الكتاب الامثله خصوصا اى بى ام,كنتاكى و والت ديزنى كتاب ايجابى و اسلوبه غير اكاديمى.
