- Seseorang tidak perlu terlahir sebagai pemimpin; kebanyakan orang bisa dilatih untuk menjadi pemimpin, namun ada beberapa karakter yang harus dimiliki oleh pemimpin sejati.
1. Mereka memiliki nilai-nilai yang kuat dan standar etika yang tinggi.
2. Mereka memimpin dengan memberi contoh serta bertindak dengan penuh integritas dalam kehidupan personal dan profesional. Baik dalam menjalankan gagasan sendiri maupun orang lain,
mereka bekerja untuk memastikan apa yang direncanakan akan tercapai.
3. Mereka memiliki pengetahuan mengenai tujuan perusahaan dan mengikuti perubahannya.
Seperti semua orang kita melakukan kesalahan; dan ketika kita melakukannya, kita harus memandang kesalahan ini sebagai pembelajaran dan berupaya mengubahnya menjadi keberhasilan.

Brilliant book! especially if you suck at reading people and wanting to know what to say and when to say it. Definitely has helped me understand sociality better and how to approach as well as talk to people. Has given me a better perspective on people and has helped me understand my parent's way of thinking. If you suffer from social anxiety then this is the book for you as well as the book on body language (You'll see that book on my page)

Buku ini mengajarkan kita cara memimpin yang lebih friendly, sehingga tidak terkesan otoriter. Juga terdapat beberapa tips dalam memberi pujian, diantaranya jangan berlebihan dan bersikap tulus. Buku ini menggambarkan sosok pemimpin yang positif. Sangat di rekomendasikan untuk dibaca terutama bagi seseorang yang baru diangkat untuk memimpin dalam perusahaan.

Bukunya bagus selain memberikan kita cara sukses menjadi seorang pemimpin buku ini juga mendorong kita untuk menjadi karyawan yang lebih produktif dan disetiap bab buku memiliki qoute yang sangat menarik, salah satu contohnya adalah sebagai berikut "Ketika berhadapan dengan orang, ingatlah bahwa anda tidak berhadapan dengan sosok yang berdasarkan logika, namun sosok yang dipenuhin emosi" (hal 111).
Kepemimpinan antara bos dan leader memang sering disebut dengan kesan yang berbeda. Pada intinya bos dan leader karakternya tidak mutlak atau permanen, karena setiap manusia bisa berubah dan berkembang. Seorang bos banyak didorong oleh ego sehingga mudah untuk memerintah, cenderung menyalahkan, tapi juga bisa cepat memberi solusi yang bersifat instan saat ada masalah. Sementara itu, seorang leader memperhatikan keadaan timnya sebaik mungkin dan mendengar aspirasinya. Dengan begitu, dirinya sendiri dan timnya bisa berkembang bersama-sama.

Sebenarnya buku ini bagus bgt seperti buku-buku Dale Carnegie lainnya. Tapi karena isinya 'cuma' pengembangan dari buku-buku Dale sebelumnya (yang dah ku 'hafal', jd aku agak bosan bacanya.. :D

Bukunya sangat bagus menjelaskan tentang kepemimpinan yang baik tidak di dapat melalui banyak nya teori tapi langsung dari pengalaman yang menilai bagaimana perilaku karyawan, menjadi pemimpin harus berusaha memotivasi menginspirasi dan berjuang bersama staf nya. Pemimpin harus memperlakukan staf nya sebagaiamana dia ingin diperlakukan . Menerapkan prinsip keadilan dan juga apresiasi adalah hal penting dalam memimpin. Pemimpin harus mampu memberdayakan stafnya dan menggali potensi yang terpendam di setiap individu
Buku ini juga memiliki analisa bagaimana harus menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi baik antar karyawan dan juga perusahaan dengan cara yang tepat dan efisien . Melalui buku ini saya paham bahwa kepemimpinan yang baik di peroleh melalui usaha yang terus menerus dalam memahami mencari tau dan memotivasi setiap individu yang di pimpin

My take on how to win friends, influence people, and succeed in a changing world after reading this book: follow Jesus.

This book attempts to use reason, testimonials, and other stories to show you how to be an effective leader. However, every point in this book would’ve been made stronger if it related back to Jesus because the ideas are all so relevant in scripture.

Here’s one example from the book on how to be a leader, “Express genuine interest in others”. Ummmm… shouldn’t that just be a given?

Upon thinking about it, I realized that being a follower of Jesus has made me this kind of person described in the book (or at least one who makes attempts to be this kind of person): someone who listens, cares, encourages, respects others, etc. Without Jesus, I would need this book to tell me to be empathetic. But I got Jesus and His word, which are so much better than this book!

Și nu unul oarecare, ci unul de succes, care reușește să își formeze și susțină o echipă și, prin intermediul acesteia, să pună bazele unei afaceri înfloritoare. Dale Carnegie nu aduce neapărat lucruri noi, nemaiștiute, nemaiîntâlnite, însă reușește să sintetizeze și aducă la un loc chestiuni de bun simț, folositoare atât în afaceri, cât și în viața de zi cu zi. Cartea este un manual pentru a funcționa mai bine în cadrul firmei tale, dar și în rândul familiei și a prietenilor, pentru că, în definitiv, asta ne îndeamnă, să nu ne ocupăm tot timpul doar cu munca, ci să învățăm să împletim în mod armonios timpul acțiunii cu cel al repausului:

„Pentru fiecare dintre noi, este esențial să creăm un echilibru în viața noastră, să lăsăm loc și pentru alte lucruri decât munca noastră. Drept urmare, viața noastră personală ne va aduce mult mai multe satisfacții, dar nu numai atât. Amazing Books, still relevant as what it brings for today. I gain knowledge and become much wiser. the books contain a lot of major things of knowledge with the respective tittle as what can be seen on the cover of the books. Topic was literally gone center the author point of view from the books but sometimes the author is telling other people stories inside the books which is related to the author. There are a lot of open-minded content inside and very positive in my opinion. The bridging of the books content from one to another is not easy for me, as I still have not read many books before. I do not know if the issues are because the books were old. This is the oldest book of almost one hundred years ago or a century after the release which I have been read for the first time. Before I read this book, I have also read the books called How to Win Friends and Influence People in the Digital Age. I recommend to also read those books.

A great book - many anecdotes from industry leaders. I really liked the one-line summary at the end of each chapter.
