I wasn't entirely certain what to expect when I picked up Flesh Colored Horror. I was aware that it consisted of short pieces by Junji Ito. However, I had no idea if it would be a rehash of the content I had already read in Museum of Terror or something else entirely. As it turns out, while the story that kicks off Flesh Colored Horror, namely the outstanding \\"Long Hair in the Attic\\", was indeed in Museum of Terror, the remainder of the stories were new to me.
Fortunately, given that it's Junji Ito, all of the stories are quite excellent. I particularly had a soft spot for \\"Beehive\\" and \\"Headless Sculptures\\". Nevertheless, the stories gathered here don't quite measure up to those in Museum of Terror. Additionally, since the presentation isn't as good either, I would definitely suggest checking out that one first. Only if you're a die-hard Junji Ito completist (and really, why wouldn't you be?) should you come to Flesh Colored Horror.
