I find it quite engaging and informative. Although I haven't had the opportunity to practice the techniques for a reasonable amount of time, I can still attest to their effectiveness.

The reason for my lack of practice is that I changed my mind on lucid dreaming. After further consideration, I began to wonder if it might not be as healthy as it initially seems.

I came across some information that made me question its potential impact on my well-being.

Nonetheless, I can't deny that the techniques presented in the book appear to be quite promising.

Quite a good, inspiring book on lucid dreaming has come to my attention. Lucid dreaming refers to the state where one is consciously aware while dreaming, as if awake.

Firstly, it is noted that lucid dreaming becomes easier when you ensure you are getting enough sleep every night, preferably in the range of 7.5 - 10 hours.

Secondly, questioning whether one is dreaming or not during waking life is a helpful practice. Apparently, checking if one can read text and it remains the same over time is a more reliable method than simply pinching oneself. Interestingly, trying to fly in a dream should also work.

It seems that having control over the nature of one's dream world can bring a great deal of fun. It can be used for adventuring, creative problem solving, overcoming fears and nightmares, rehearsing life skills, as well as for the purpose of healing.

Most of the techniques presented in the book seem to involve qualities such as patience, diligence, and intention.

If you are curious about lucid dreaming or have a desire to experience it more frequently, I would highly recommend this book. It is filled with numerous techniques and anecdotes that can assist you on your lucid dreaming journey.

I have a profound love for this book, and there are two main reasons for it.

It has been only seven days since I made the decision to explore the world of lucid dreaming, and yet my dream recall has improved significantly. I have already experienced a couple of involuntary lucid dreams, and I am eagerly looking forward to having more. This is the very first book that I would highly recommend to anyone who has a burning curiosity about lucid dreaming.

It is an outstanding book, and it doesn't matter if you don't manage to read the entire thing. Just take the time to thoroughly digest the first few chapters.

Then, give the practice of dream journaling a try. The amazing payoff won't simply be found within the pages of the book itself. Instead, it will occur within your REM sleep, where you will be able to have conscious thought within your own dreams.

Fascinating topic and book. It's truly captivating. It took me a whole year to reach halfway through another book on the same topic. However, I managed to read this one in just a week. I regard it as a combination of both a "how to" and a "why to" guide. The major skills that I believe one could acquire from this book are as follows:

1. How to relax and clear your mind, which is essential for entering a state conducive to dreaming and lucid dreaming.

2. How to recall your dreams accurately. Many people forget their dreams shortly after waking up, but this book provides techniques to enhance dream recall.

3. How to lucid dream, which allows you to become aware that you are dreaming and take control of the dream experience.

4. How to potentially resolve problems in your dreams. Dreams can sometimes offer unique perspectives and solutions to real-life problems.

In terms of the "why to" aspects of this book, I think Laberge presents some fascinating arguments about the benefits of lucid dreaming.

I firmly believe that it is definitely worth giving it a try. Otherwise, you are simply squandering all that time spent sleeping.

Even if the only thing you gain from this book are methods to relax or recall your dreams, I still think it is well worth reading. It is definitely a topic that you don't encounter every day, and it can open up a whole new world of exploration and discovery.

I hadn't experienced a lucid dream since my college days. However, after reading just a portion of this book and skipping the exercises, on my very first attempt, I found myself flying with complete control in my dream. But then, unfortunately, I woke up. Undeterred, I gave it another go, and on the second try, I achieved a fully lucid dream.

I set the book aside for a while and then later returned to read the remaining part. Last night and the night before, I managed to wake myself up in between each NREM/REM cycle. I discovered that while most people have a cycle of approximately 90 minutes, mine is precisely 84 minutes. It was quite strange to note that I was so consistent, even on a night when I had consumed a significant amount of caffeine and only slept for a little over 4 hours. And then, on the following night, when I slept for around 10 hours, the cycle remained the same at 84 minutes.

It seems that this book has had a profound impact on my dream experiences, and I'm eager to see what other revelations and adventures lie ahead in the world of my dreams.

Good book to read if you want to lucid dream.

I could have achieved lucid dreams if I had actually followed some of the instructions provided in the book.

I really liked the personal anecdotes from other lucid dreamers that were included in the text. It added a relatable and interesting aspect to the topic.

The book was very straightforward with its subject matter and explained it clearly, which I appreciated.

However, if you truly want to get the most value out of the book, you should actually follow the exercises it recommends. Unfortunately, I didn't do this.

Also, I have to admit that I didn't really have a lot of lucid dreams as a result of reading this book.

Nevertheless, the advice given was pretty good and overall, I would still recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in lucid dreaming. It provides a good foundation and some useful techniques that could potentially help you achieve this fascinating experience.
