A book about the daily life of the greatest man on earth and I have learned a lot about his life though the book. One thing that I have learned from this book is you have to work hard, learn hard and courage to do what be able to achieve your dream !
Another Contribution to the Art of the Deal Saga, Think Like a Billionaire looks beyond just business and gives insight into the Media Personality that Trump Would become in the early 2000s.
Building off of Trump: How to Get Rich, the book begins with countless business and real estate tips that the Business Titan has accumulated over the years. Notably including his fall from grace in the early 1990s, Trump's advice doesn't just come from a billionaire (although some it does), but from a man who had to work hard to save everything he had.
The ladder half of the book transitions from advice to insight as Trump explains his success with the Beauty Pageants, Golf Courses, and most notably: The Apprentice. Being the talk of the time, the book focuses on the TV show from the perspective of the man sitting behind the large desk and how it came into being.
The only reason I gave this book one star was because -2 or -3 was not an option. Hands down the worst book on finances I've ever picked up. Not that the ideas in it were terrible, but it only talks about common sense things that most of us already know. Useless.
This is the Donald Trump I miss, the man who was the icon of New York known just as “The Donald.” This book is copyrighted in 2004, more than a decade before Donald Trump would become the 45th President of the United States.
Before this, Donald Trump was recognized as a businessman and known for his expertise on real estate. His father told him not to invest in Manhattan real estate, but Trump’s instincts told him otherwise, making him a very rich and powerful man. In this book, he gives advice on renting or buying a home, suggestions on financial investing, making good friends, how to tip and be treated well at hotels, and other ideas which I really enjoyed.
He also writes about his former popular TV show, “The Apprentice” which gave him even more fame in America.
This book is informative with good guidance based on Trump’s experiences.

I agree with a lot of what one of the reviewers here said (5 stars, John J. Rinck, February 14, 2005). I for one, greatly enjoyed the succinct and concise chapters. I prefer the book as it is, as compared to if a ghostwriter had written it (with more "flowery" language, which gives the illusion of getting more bang for your buck).
I find it interesting to note also that all the people blasting Mr. Trump and/or his books...well...*probably* aren't exactly billionaires (or millionaires?).
I enjoyed the "glossy photos" included also. They showcase his success.
Mr. Trump writes at the start: "Even if you absorb only ten percent of the wisdom in this book, you'll still have a good shot at becoming a millionaire."
Advice from other places in the book: "Focus on the solutions, not the problem."
Pg 149: 1. Think big 2. Stay focused 3. Be paranoid (keep your guard up) 4. Be passionate 5. Don't ever give up 6. Love what you are doing
I got this book because I enjoyed the introductory material (which I happened to chance upon via Google Books). I am an independent author/publisher/entrepreneur. The going can get tough sometimes. Rather than wallow in self-pity and whine/gripe about things endlessly, I seek out success stories and seek to emulate successful people (it sure beats moping around and complaining about things/life in general).
This book is no exception (success story, etc.). I am thankful to Mr. Trump for sharing a wealth of information, via his thoughts/views!
I tried not to affect my objective review just because his the worst American President. What matters is that I tried, isn’t it? Okay.
Listening to the audiobook of Donald Trump is similar to listening to your condescending so-called friend regarding his perfect idea and how he thinks that he is the best.
1) He shared how billionaire dine in at restaurants by not using ATM card because he got all his foods for free. Why? Because he’s too famous for it to be free. Gosh! All I think is that he’s using his arrogance to get free lunch. He should be paying since it’s forking business.
2) He always worship his wife when we all know that he married all the Miss Universe in various countries. He even confirmed how women drives his motivation to the maximum level. Okay, the douchebag in the business world.
3) He keeps repeating that his books and Trump tower is the best. Okay, please at least have humility. Head over heels for yourself?!
I only read this book to gauge if he really is shit President. From the documentary in Netflix, The Great Hack, I witnessed how he abused the usage of social media to the point of using the advertisement to ruin the other candidates and turn himself the President of United States of America. If being billionaire is being like him, I think we all need to think twice. Remember that attitude matters above all. Money can be earned and attitude can be learned but only few really learns it.
Why am I saying this about the author and not the book? Because the author is the person who created this book especially this is a self-help book purposely to help us become “inspiring billionaires.” If the author is crooked then the book is crooked, too.
Four stars since there are “some” great advices and “some” is really attitude problem.
Guess this is the first and last book of Donald Trump for my entire life. ‼️
I actually liked Trump's business books. He seemed to know how to do deals. The much later more educated me, however believes he was ruthless in making people doing deals and quite possibly involved in organized crime even internationally to get them done so now I'd take this book with a grain of salt. Does help with scarcity mindset if you have that.
The billionaires' club is an exclusive one—in a world of six billion people, fewer than 600 are billionaires. In Think Like a Billionaire, real estate mogul Donald J. Trump shares a few of the characteristics that set billionaires apart from the rest of the crowd.
For example, billionaires seldom do what's conventional or expected of them. Rather, they stay true to their vision, even in the face of criticism and doubt. Interestingly, Donald Trump has only met a handful of his billionaire brethren ... usually on the golf course. They seldom discuss their portfolios. As you might expect, conversations tend to focus on the game of golf.
In the book, co-authored with Meredith McIver, Donald Trump shares tips on how to think like a billionaire. He includes practical advice on investing in real estate, and discusses why it's important for property owners to care about details like landscaping and interior decorating.
Definitely of its time but not without its moments. I say "of its time" because the entire last portion of tge book relays trivia of The Apprentice tv show, something which has seemingly been erased and/or hidden by the mainstream as of current date; I didn't know it existed before reading this book. Nevertheless his insights into not only business but also personal conduct and portrayed of your image was very interesting. Him going into his personal favorites as well as breaking down his day event by event certainly made for great entertainment.
3.5 star. A good book obviously, get to know a billionaire's week.
There is the sign of Trump's usual immaturity and a billionaire's financial intelligence at the same time. Mabe this book makes more sense to people who are into real-estates.
Few quotes: Do not take a vacation, if you do not like your work, then you are in the wrong job. Life is too good to wish it away. You are fired.
