Someday, I am going to be a parent.

I checked out this book from the library because I am a big fan of the show "Super Nanny" on TV. That nanny seems to work miracles with bratty children and their parents who lack the proper parenting skills.

The book contains some really excellent tips that I would have never thought of on my own.

For instance, she advises against rewarding children with treats, as it can lead to unhealthy attitudes towards food in the future. Instead, she suggests using verbal praise and a warm hug to show appreciation.

I found this book to be quite useful and informative. It has given me a lot to think about as I prepare for the role of being a parent.

I look forward to implementing these tips and strategies when the time comes.

Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in improving their parenting skills or simply wants to learn more about child development.

I'll admit it. I watched a great deal of Supernanny during my college years. In fact, I even watched it with my husband during our first year of marriage, long before we had any children. And I am truly a believer. I have a great fondness for the way she teaches parents to assume control by making use of love, compassion, and encouragement rather than relying solely on punishment (although there are indeed occasions when that is necessary as well). I can't claim to fully concur with her perspectives on babyhood, yet her suggestions regarding parenting toddlers and older children make a great deal of sense. Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if it all truly works. ;)

A lot of the content in this covered just the basics. For example, it talked about how to get your kids to eat, or how to discipline them, or even potty train.

Overall, it was a pretty good read. It was really beneficial as it reminded me of how to react to my kids and how to stay calm in various situations.

The only drawback I found was that sometimes it would tell you what you SHOULD do, but it didn't always explain HOW to do it.

Nevertheless, I love Supernanny and think her methods are great. I noticed that on the days when I read this, I was able to be a much better mom to my kids.

I would highly recommend this to other parents who are looking for some practical advice and guidance on raising their children.

For some reason that I can't quite explain, these Supernanny books are seriously like crack.

Kids have always been an absolute mystery to me, despite having probably thousands upon thousands of hours of babysitting experience. However, these books have managed to make everything make so much more sense.

I decided to give one of the techniques a try while watching my baby nephew, and I was truly surprised by how fast it worked. It was almost like magic.

This particular book that I'm referring to is a really quick and easy read. It doesn't require a lot of effort or time to get through, yet it is filled with valuable and practical advice.

Whether you're a seasoned babysitter like me or a new parent, these Supernanny books are definitely worth checking out. They could potentially change the way you interact with and understand children.

I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for some helpful tips and tricks when it comes to dealing with kids.

Holy crap!

How have I NOT read this book before NOW???!!!

Not only does she cite common toddler behavioral issues, but she ACTUALLY explains how to DEAL with them!

This is one I'm skipping around in, and not exactly reading from "start to finish".

I'm really excited about this discovery.

It seems like a valuable resource for parents dealing with the challenges of raising toddlers.

The author's approach of not only identifying the problems but also providing practical solutions is truly refreshing.

I can't wait to explore different sections of the book and see how I can apply the advice to my own situation.

Maybe this will be the answer to all my toddler-related woes!

I truly have a great affection for Jo Jo.

I have begun to implement her techniques in my daily life, and to my delight, they are proving to be effective.

One of my favorite thoughts that Jo Jo has shared is that when it comes to dealing with our children, we are not punishing them. Instead, we are disciplining them.

Discipline is about teaching our children the right values and behaviors, guiding them on how to become upstanding members of our society.

It is a process of instilling in them a sense of responsibility, respect, and integrity.

By following Jo Jo's techniques, I am seeing positive changes in my children's behavior and attitude.

They are becoming more self-aware, more cooperative, and more respectful of others.
