These two stories were short and concise, yet they were truly EXCELLENT.

It was a pleasant experience to read a story within this series that didn't have an overwhelming number of events happening simultaneously.

Surprisingly, I only shed tears ONCE, which is quite a record for this series!

However, I find myself a bit nervous regarding the remainder of the series.

The reason being that there appears to be a significant number of generations that will remain untold, and I'm uncertain about how I feel about that.

I'm aware that Lizzie's story is即将到来soon, but what about John Henry or the rest of the firstborns of the McKettrick boys?

.... I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

I just couldn't get into this book.

Perhaps it was due to the constant bouncing back and forth between the years 1919 and 2007. The sudden shifts in time made it difficult for me to fully engage with the story and the characters.

Maybe it was also because both of the women in the book seemed rather wimpy. They lacked the strength and determination that I would have liked to see in their personalities.

Similarly, both of the men were too passive. They didn't take enough initiative or show enough leadership, which made the plot seem rather stagnant at times.

Oh well, I guess this just wasn't the right book for me. Maybe someone else will be able to appreciate its unique qualities and enjoy the story more than I did.

I really like the idea of this story. It combines two of my favorite themes, time travel and cowboys.

The story is about two women who live in two different times but can intersect because they live in the same house. At first, they think their house is haunted because there are often objects that move on their own and the sound of a piano playing without anyone touching it.

But in the end, they realize that they are living side by side even though they are in different time dimensions. It's really exciting to follow. It reminds me of the Nicole Kidman movie called The Others.

I can imagine the two women gradually uncovering the mystery of the house and their connection. Maybe there are some heartwarming moments as they learn from each other's experiences.

The concept of time travel and the idea of sharing a space with someone from a different era is always fascinating. It makes me wonder what would happen if we could actually interact with people from the past or future.

This story has a lot of potential to be developed further and explored in more detail. I'm looking forward to seeing how it unfolds.

My copy is truly remarkable. It consists of a total of 275 pages, which is quite a substantial amount.

What makes it even more special is that it contains a novella by the talented B.J. Daniels. B.J. Daniels is known for her engaging and captivating storytelling, and this novella is no exception.

The pages are filled with vivid descriptions, interesting characters, and a plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.

Whether you're a fan of B.J. Daniels or simply looking for a great read, this copy with its 275 pages and included novella is sure to satisfy. It's a literary treasure that you'll want to explore and enjoy time and time again.

So, pick up this copy, lose yourself in the world of B.J. Daniels' novella, and let the magic of the written word transport you to another place.

This was a good book.

It was the only one in this series that I didn't care for as much as the others. I liked it okay, but it was kind of weird when they were switching time periods and stuff.

It seems that in order to fully understand the story and go along with the others in the series, one needs to read this book. However, it can be quite hard to get through at times.

The constant shifting of time periods makes it a bit challenging to follow the plot and keep track of the characters.

Despite this, there are still some interesting aspects to the book that make it worth reading.

Maybe with a second read, I will be able to appreciate it more and understand the significance of the time period switches.

Overall, it's an okay book, but not my favorite in the series.

The story presents an interesting and engaging plot that takes the readers on a captivating journey.

It skillfully switches between the years 1919 and 2007, all within the confines of the same house. This unique narrative device creates a sense of mystery and curiosity as the readers are eager to discover the connections and relationships that span across these different time periods.

The descriptions of the house in both eras are vivid and detailed, allowing the readers to envision the changes and transformations that have occurred over the years.

The story is not only enjoyable but also thought-provoking, as it explores themes such as history, memory, and the passage of time. It makes the readers reflect on how the past can influence the present and how our actions today can have a lasting impact on the future.

Overall, this is a well-written and entertaining story that will keep the readers hooked from beginning to end.

I thoroughly enjoyed delving into another captivating installment of the McKettrick series.

This particular book presents a fascinating narrative that revolves around two distinct women, belonging to two different generations.

On one hand, we have Sierra McKettrick, a woman of the present day. She finds herself drawn to Travis Reid, the caretaker, who becomes her love interest in this engaging story.

On the other hand, there is Hannah McKettrick, a woman from 1919. She has a budding romance with Doss McKettrick, her dead husband's brother.

Adding an element of mystery to the plot, through some unexplained happenings, their sons are able to see and communicate with each other.

The intertwining of these storylines creates a rich and engaging tapestry that keeps the reader hooked from start to finish. It is truly a good read that offers a unique blend of romance, mystery, and family drama.

Somewhere between an okay and good read, this book has its merits and areas for improvement. The supernatural aspect is a definite plus. If it had been highlighted more effectively and shown as having a greater influence on the lives of the two main protagonists, it would likely have been a great book. The concept of two women living in the same house but in two different centuries is an interesting one. It has the potential to explore themes such as time, history, and the connection between the past and the present. However, the execution of this idea could have been stronger. The characters could have been more developed, and their relationships could have been explored in more depth. Overall, it's an average read with some good ideas that could have been better realized.

Interesting as it is to jump between centuries, this book requires you to believe in ghosts. However, it is still a good read. The story takes you on a thrilling journey through different time periods, filled with mystery and supernatural elements. As you turn the pages, you will find yourself engrossed in the plot, trying to solve the谜团 along with the characters. The author's vivid descriptions bring the settings and the ghosts to life, making you feel as if you are actually there. Despite the need to suspend disbelief, the book manages to maintain a sense of authenticity and believability. It explores themes such as love, loss, and redemption, adding depth and emotion to the story. Whether you are a fan of horror or just looking for an exciting read, this book is definitely worth checking out.

Alright, I truly didn't anticipate enjoying this as much as I did.

Normally, I have a certain aversion to stories that constantly flip back and forth between the present and the past. It can be quite confusing and disrupt the flow of the narrative.

Here, we have a story that follows the lives of two people whose lives sort of parallel each other. This concept, while interesting in theory, often leads to a convoluted plot.

And then there's that temporal paradox. It's a tricky element that can really throw off the reader. But, for some reason, I'm going to overlook that just this once.

Maybe it's because the characters are so well-developed or the writing is so engaging. Whatever the reason, I found myself thoroughly immersed in this story, despite its flaws.

I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes from here and how the author resolves all the various plotlines and contradictions.

It's not often that a story can overcome my initial skepticism and win me over, but this one has managed to do just that.

Overall, I'm quite impressed and eager to continue reading.

Two stories in one, this captivating tale beautifully provides the crucial linkage between the previous McKettrick's and the current generation. It involves Eve's daughter, who was kidnapped by her estranged husband. She has been longing for the mother she never really knew after the age of two.

Remarkably, teapots move, as do remembrance books and journals. Despite the doubts of mother Hannah (circa 1919) and mother Sierra (circa 2007), each of their sons catches a glimpse of the other.

This is truly an intriguing way to artfully weave two stories into one seamless narrative. It keeps the readers on the edge of their seats, eager to discover how these two seemingly disparate storylines will ultimately converge and what secrets and revelations lie within. The mystery and the emotional depth of the characters make this tale a truly engaging and unforgettable read.
