I'm actually truly glad that I took the time to read this book.

Obviously, the central premise of this book is that we all ought to consume more water. The author repeatedly drives home the point that this should bring about a significant shift in the way western medicine functions. It posits that dehydration is (at least initially) the root cause of nearly all diseases and that doctors should prescribe water prior to medications. I believe this is an extremely difficult, almost impossible uphill battle, yet kudos must be given for his efforts.

This book also serves as an excellent primer on the inner workings of the human body. I gained a great deal of knowledge about how the body operates at a cellular level without it being overly complicated or going completely over my head. There is valuable information presented here in plain and simple layman's terms.

I admit that the premise here may seem a bit simplistic, but that is precisely its appeal for me. As far as I'm concerned, a simple solution is often better than a complex one. And although it is actually not quite as straightforward as it might appear at first glance, it is definitely achievable with some effort.

Read this for class when the focus is on hydration. The information presented here is truly fascinating and it is an absolute must-read for anyone who has an interest in health, especially their own. The author does digress into some interesting tangents. I feel that these tangents are a bit over-simplified and perhaps not overly likely to occur. However, despite this, the author also has a wealth of great insights.

While I don't subscribe to the belief that water is the ultimate solution to everything, it is patently obvious that it is incredibly important in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. And here's the thing - most people are under the impression that they are drinking an adequate amount of water. But the reality is that most people are simply incorrect in this assumption.

Drink more water, got it.

Honestly, Batmanghelidj's message is truly of great importance. Drinking water is such a simple, essential, and obvious thing, yet so many of us simply don't do it. This book puts forward the idea that chronic dehydration is the cause of various illnesses and ailments and provides sufficient evidence to make all that water you're not drinking seem really appealing.

Unfortunately, the information could have been presented in a much more professional manner. I didn't enjoy either the tone or the writing. The constant cry of "conspiracy!" undermines the author's credibility. This may perhaps be unfair, and I don't doubt that he has faced real difficulties in trying to convey to the public the significance of the tired instruction "drink more water." Nevertheless, the impression of reading a long rant by a frustrated crusader is difficult to get rid of. A streamlined and clean presentation of the data would have resulted in a book that I might keep on the shelf.

Eye opening.

This simple phrase holds a profound meaning. It implies that something has happened or been discovered that has widened our perspective and made us more aware.

In this context, it could be related to the realization of the importance of drinking more water. Water is essential for our bodies to function properly. It helps with digestion, circulation, and maintaining body temperature.

I'll attempt to drink more water. This is a great intention. However, it may not be as easy as it sounds. We often get busy with our daily lives and forget to drink enough water.

To achieve this goal, we can start by setting reminders throughout the day. We can also carry a water bottle with us wherever we go, so we always have access to water.

Another tip is to drink a glass of water first thing in the morning and before each meal. This will help us stay hydrated and also improve our digestion.

By making a conscious effort to drink more water, we can improve our overall health and well-being. It may take some time and effort, but the benefits are well worth it.

Some people hold the view that the philosophy expounded in this book is completely outrageous. However, I, on the contrary, find it highly believable.

If we consider that the human body is composed mainly of water, doesn't it stand to reason that we need to constantly keep it replenished? And doesn't it also make perfect sense that the water we consume should be pure?

Admittedly, some parts of the reading can be a bit ponderous and require more effort to understand. But overall, I firmly believe that what is presented in this book deserves to be taken much more seriously than it currently appears to be.

We should not simply dismiss its ideas as far-fetched or unimportant. Instead, we should engage with the content, reflect on its implications, and perhaps even consider making changes in our own lives based on the principles put forward.

After all, when it comes to our health and well-being, every little bit counts.

This article is extremely informative and shows a great deal of well-researched content.

It concludes by stating something that we are already aware of - the importance of drinking more water.

However, what makes this article stand out is that the author backs up this claim with very challenging real-life examples.

These examples vividly illustrate the significant difference that increasing water intake can make to our health.

By presenting such practical and relatable illustrations, the author effectively emphasizes the crucial role that water plays in maintaining our well-being.

Overall, this article not only provides valuable information but also engages the reader through the use of impactful real-life scenarios.

It serves as a reminder that even though we may already know the importance of drinking water, it is essential to put this knowledge into practice for a healthier life.

I really enjoyed reading this book.

It presented some very interesting ideas and concepts. However, I have to admit that the claims made in the book are rather bold.

There simply isn't sufficient evidence provided to back up the theories in a way that would make me feel completely confident in them.

One aspect that I did like, though, is that the author endorses the consumption of water directly from the tap, as long as it is not contaminated.

This is a practical and common-sense approach, as tap water is often a convenient and cost-effective source of hydration.

Overall, while the book had its strengths, the lack of solid evidence for the theories left me with some reservations.

I still think it's worth reading, as it can stimulate thought and discussion, but I wouldn't base any major decisions solely on the content of this book.

Perhaps with further research and the addition of more evidence, the theories presented could be more firmly established.

Until then, I'll continue to approach them with a degree of caution.

There is a great deal that I found appealing about this book.

The scientific explanations which describe the negative impacts of dehydration on human physiology were truly fascinating.

I concur with the author that all too frequently, we depend on medication, popping a pill, to relieve discomfort and illness when it might not be essential.

Pharmaceutical companies generate revenue by getting people to start and continue taking medication, rather than having doctors recommend that patients attempt to increase their water intake first before resorting to a lifetime of medication.

That being said, I do believe the author is a bit overly extreme in his subliminal claim that drinking more water is the cure-all for just about everything.

His chapter on HIV and AIDS is also outdated considering that this book was written some time ago.

Nevertheless, since reading this book, I have made a conscious effort to increase the quantity of water I consume each day and I'm eagerly anticipating seeing if my personal experiment will enhance my physical well-being.

I am hopeful that by making this simple change, I will notice positive differences in my overall health and vitality.

Only time will tell if this increased water intake truly has the beneficial effects that the author claims.

But for now, I am committed to giving it a try and seeing where this journey takes me.

I was residing in California when I first caught wind of this book.

One day, as I was emerging from a store in Encinitas, a gentleman who was on his way into the store stated, "What your body requires is water," and promptly informed me about this particular book.

I decided to purchase it, and to this day, I still possess it.

Throughout the years, doctors have persistently emphasized to me the importance of drinking more water.

Just last year, it was my urologist who asserted that all of my problems were a result of insufficient water intake.

Despite this, I continue to make an effort to increase my water consumption.

I understand that water is essential for the proper functioning of my body, and I am determined to follow the advice of the medical professionals.

Hopefully, by doing so, I can improve my overall health and well-being.
