This book was truly amazing for me. It replicated the results of my RAST blood test for food allergy with remarkable accuracy. For instance, oranges were causing me significant problems, and lo and behold, Dr. D'Adamo says that Blood Type O should avoid oranges. That's just one example. I'm also allergic to wheat, yet I'm addicted to it. Wheat contains a substance that acts as a pain killer, although I forget what it is at the moment. Additionally, it can cause arthritis, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis. Wheat is extremely bad for me, but when I'm off it, I dream about it and have intense cravings. However, I keep persevering. In fact, most grains are very harmful to me, and there are numerous veggies that I can't consume. My allergist specifically told me never to eat tomatoes. Most people should stay away from tomatoes as they contain a component that causes red blood cells to agglutinate. You definitely don't want your red blood cells sticking together as this can potentially lead to a stroke.

He correctly identified that I'm a meat eater. I do attempt to cut back on red meat as my iron level is extremely high, but the craving is intense. I often enjoy a hamburger without the bun. It tastes so much better that way!

Currently, I'm trying to follow the KETO diet, and while there's no mention of it in this book, the concepts are somewhat similar. If you're not feeling well, I highly recommend reading this book and giving it a try. I refer to it frequently for guidance.

Part of the guidance in the book works for me but not all.

It is a controversial method, and there has been a great deal of discussion surrounding this book already, to which I cannot add anything new.

Nonetheless, I have attempted several of the recipes in the book, and they all proved to be quite good.

These recipes only require a few ingredients and minimal preparation.

For example, the baked carob chip cookies are delicious. The combination of carob chips and other simple ingredients creates a unique and satisfying flavor.

Kifta is another recipe that I tried, and it was also a success. The spices and seasonings used in Kifta give it a rich and savory taste.

Finally, the Organic Beef Roast is a classic dish that the book presents in a simple and easy-to-follow way.

The result is a tender and juicy roast that is sure to please.

Overall, while the book may be controversial, the recipes it contains are definitely worth trying.

I don't think I'll follow much of the diet suggested.

Simply because 90% of the food products mentioned are not available in the area where I live.

This makes it quite challenging to adhere to such a diet.

Nevertheless, it's an interesting read about the history of our blood types.

Learning about how different blood types have evolved and their possible connections to our diet is quite fascinating.

Although I may not be able to implement the diet strictly, it gives me a new perspective on the relationship between our bodies and the food we eat.

Maybe in the future, I can explore alternative ways to incorporate some of the principles of this diet into my eating habits, even with the limited food options available in my area.

Overall, while the diet may not be practical for me at the moment, the information about blood types and their history is definitely worth considering.

I understand what the author is saying. However, for me, this simply didn't ring true. The foods that are allegedly the very worst for my blood type happen to be some of my favorites, and they have never caused me a single bit of trouble.

Perhaps it could be that I am on the verge of becoming a full vegetarian, which might be the reason why my mind isn't entirely open to this concept. It's possible that my current dietary choices and preferences are influencing my perception. Maybe if I had a different diet or lifestyle, I would view this information about blood type and food compatibility in a different light. But as it stands now, I find it difficult to fully embrace this idea.

Nonetheless, I do recognize that there could be some merit to it, and I'm willing to keep an open mind and do further research to see if there is any scientific evidence to support these claims.

A nice book to read indeed, and I have definitely learned a few things from it.

However, the author's tendency to constantly refer to the history of the human race at every possible opportunity seems a bit overdone. It sometimes feels like an unnecessary repetition that could have been toned down.

On the positive side, the tabular forms he uses are quite handy. They present information in a clear and organized manner, making it easier for the reader to understand and compare different data.

Also, the modular structure of the chapters is good. It allows for a logical flow of ideas and makes it convenient for the reader to navigate through the book.

One thing that I'm not entirely sure about is the claim that humans discovered wheat (and bread soon after) at the same time as cooked meat. There could be other factors and timelines involved that might not be as straightforward as presented.
