This is SUCH an interesting book.

It truly is a captivating read that has had a significant impact on me.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this book is that it validated some of my recent food choices. I had decided to cut out gluten and milk products from my diet, and this book provided the scientific reasoning and evidence behind these decisions.

Moreover, it also helps with being aware of your blood type and the potential problems with sickness and disease associated with it.

This knowledge is not only fascinating but also practical, as it can help us make more informed decisions about our health and well-being.

In conclusion, this book is a MUST READ for anyone who is interested in improving their health, understanding the relationship between food and the body, or simply learning something new and interesting.

It is a valuable resource that I would highly recommend to others.

I'm not entirely certain about my thoughts regarding this book.

Can the world truly be divided into just four categories? It seems rather simplistic.

Moreover, some of the items recommended in the book are definitely off-limits for me. I simply cannot consume or take them.

However, there is one thing that has piqued my interest. I heard about quercetin in this book, and I'm going to give it a try.

I'm curious to see what the outcome will be. Maybe it will have some beneficial effects on my health.

Or perhaps it won't make much of a difference at all. Only time will tell.

I'll keep an open mind and see where this experiment takes me.

Who knows, it could lead to some unexpected discoveries.

The hypothesis presented in this book is false. Logically speaking, the theory behind it simply didn't make sense to me. Moreover, I was unable to find any scientific argument to support this particular diet. In fact, I came across evidence that claims this diet is not valid. You can read more about it here: http://news.utoronto.ca/popular-diet-...

Anytime you make a significant change to your diet and/or exclude a food group, your body will inevitably experience changes. The Eat Right diet, for instance, excludes certain food selections. The book maintains that "O" blood types will become healthier on a high protein, low carb diet. However, it fails to mention how detrimental animal fats can be to heart health, blood pressure, and colon health. Additionally, I know of "O" blood types who have difficulty digesting red meat and actually become ill as a result. Since I'm allergic to dairy, all but one of the four diets apply to me, namely the A diet, but that's not my blood type.

Overall, it was an interesting read, but the science and practice underlying this diet are faulty. Instead, the key to a long and healthy life lies in eating a well-balanced, healthy diet, getting plenty of rest and exercise, and laughing and loving a lot.

An interesting health perspective indeed. Over the years, I have been deliberately paying attention to how my body feels after eating. It was a pleasant surprise to find that many of the foods I have eliminated or never cared for are listed as items to avoid. On the other hand, there are a few foods that I truly love and consider healthy, yet they are suggestions to stay away from. I don't think I'll completely avoid them just based on this book. However, I am curious to delve deeper into the science behind why these foods are recommended to be avoided and, if necessary, take appropriate action. This exploration of food and its impact on our health is not only fascinating but also crucial for maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle. By understanding the reasons behind these recommendations, we can make more informed decisions about what we eat and how it affects our bodies.

I have truly gained a great deal from this experience, but unfortunately, I haven't revisited it in a long time.

When I first obtained it many years ago, I made good use of it. It had a significant impact on my life at that time.

Even now, I still find myself thinking about it from time to time, as if through a lens of my blood type.

It's strange how something that happened so long ago can still have such a hold on my thoughts.

I wonder if there are still valuable lessons or insights that I can extract from it if I were to take a closer look again.

Maybe it's time to dust it off and see what new perspectives I can gain.

Who knows, it might just change my life once again.

There is an interesting theory regarding what we should and shouldn't eat depending on our blood type.

My nutritionalist introduced this theory to me. Some of the items that it claims I shouldn't consume are actually my favorites.

However, it could potentially explain why my husband and I have such different reactions to the same food.

For example, people with blood type A are often advised to follow a more vegetarian diet, while those with blood type O are said to do better with a diet rich in meat and certain fruits and vegetables.

This theory suggests that our blood type may influence how our bodies process and metabolize different foods.

It's an intriguing concept that makes me wonder if there could be some truth to it.

Perhaps I should give it a try and see if making some dietary changes based on my blood type has any impact on my health and well-being.

Who knows, it might just be the key to a healthier and more balanced diet for me and my husband.

Updated review:

When I initially read this, it was extremely helpful and made perfect sense. However, I was under the impression that it would simply be yet another passing fad diet. I have been grappling with the challenges of weight loss and fatigue for more than a decade now, but this book has truly transformed my life.

I have managed to lose weight in a consistent manner and I feel absolutely great! I am so incredibly glad that I decided to give this method a try. It has exceeded my expectations and has become an essential part of my daily routine.

The techniques and strategies presented in the book are not only practical but also sustainable in the long run. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to improve their health and well-being.

It has been a game-changer for me and I am confident that it can do the same for others. Don't hesitate to give it a chance and see the amazing results for yourself!

This is a truly horrible book.

From the very first page, I found myself completely disinterested and unengaged. The story lacked any real depth or substance, and the characters were one-dimensional and unlikable.

The writing style was also a major turn-off. It was平淡无奇 and failed to capture my attention or imagination. I struggled to get through each chapter, constantly looking for an excuse to put the book down.

Overall, I hated this book with a passion. It was a waste of my time and money, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I hope that the author takes some time to reflect on their work and makes significant improvements in their future writing.

If you are intrigued by Eat Right 4 Your Type (see my review at http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...), this book offers some additional in-depth details in key aspects.

I found the more elaborate account of the evolution of blood types both fascinating and beneficial in understanding the broader context of blood type differences. (As an aside, it's rather disconcerting to realize that mankind has wantonly depleted the earth's resources since the days of the Cro-Magnon. We haven't advanced that much, have we?)

Taking a closer examination of the archaeological and biological research underlying blood type differences lends credibility to the fundamental premise. Some of the scientific content made my eyes cross a bit, but it's useful to have readily accessible if you ever feel the urge to explore deeper – or perhaps just when you're suffering from insomnia and need a non-pharmaceutical way to fall asleep. Flashbacks of high school science...

I was astonished and appalled that D'Adamo so blatantly abandons his naturopathic training and hops onto the allopathic bandwagon in his excitement, stating that, "physicians may soon be able to design tiny tools to safely and effectively repair the damaged nanoscopic machinery of a diseased body, just as a mechanic works on a car's engine..." My understanding and experience of naturopathic medicine suggest that it is intended to support the body to heal itself, not rely on technology to fix what our lifestyle choices have disrupted. In a truly holistic approach, disease is a symptom of a system not functioning properly, not something to be surgically removed or mechanically manipulated. And the body-as-a-machine analogy? Oh, so Newtonian and so 1980s. (There is MUCH emerging science that challenges this outdated and limited perspective.)

The blood type approach to diet begins with a body-supporting premise, but I believe D'Adamo has strayed from this basic foundation when he focuses on the genetic aspects of disease at the expense of viewing disease as part of a whole body system. As mentioned in my Eat Right 4 Your Type review (http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...), more recent research in the field of epigenetics is uncovering what the human genome project failed to disclose – that genes don't dictate what occurs in the body; they are activated (or not) by what is happening in their environment (or not). (See Bruce Lipton's Biology of Belief or simply watch some of his videos on YouTube for more on this.)

The individualized and detailed information covering one's unique requirements, as presented in the book, is reasonably comprehensive. Identifying which foods, herbs, spices, etc. either support or undermine one's natural processes is of great value. I do have concerns regarding the need to incorporate more up-to-date information on issues such as GMO foods, but I can combine D'Adamo's information with more current research and draw my own conclusions about what is right for me. (For instance, wheat flour is supposed to be suitable for me, but I had an immediate negative digestive reaction today after consuming a scone. I will continue to avoid wheat flour as I have been doing for some time.)

Ultimately, eating in accordance with your blood type may be a part of the equation, and perhaps even an important part, but it's not the complete picture and should be taken with a grain of salt (or not, depending on your blood type).
