I would have enjoyed these books more if I had read them when I was 12, but one should never stop reading the classics.

I loved this book as a child, and I still love it as a grownup. I loved her passion for life, her imagination, her desire for the beautiful, and her knack for messing up even when trying so hard to do things right. Reality was always intruding into her dreams - how true! When the movie was made, I loved it too! It was filmed so beautifully and the characters were spot on!

I love the Anne books. I've read every one at least twice.

I loved this book. I have to admit that the only reason I gave it a shot was due to the Netflix series "Anne with an E" this kind of book isn't normally my cup of tea.
This book was cute, funny and wholesome. It really gave me plenty room for "scope of imagination." I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.

My grandfather gave me this book, and then we watched the movie together. I always connected Henry with my grampa. Such good memories of this one!

I have read Anne of Green Gables countless times and I continue enjoying the story. It has a special meaning for me as I visited PEI where the story takes place. Anne is a lovable character who I saw change from a young girl to a young woman. I have laughed at her antics and cried over the deaths and losses.

I remember loving these books when I was a girl, I reread them as an adult and still found them to be entertaining and enjoyable.

it is a great book its the only one ive read from the series but its a really fun story anne is really funny and someone i tink i could get along with its a sweet story. a girl comes from an orphanage and is so excited to have a family it just is about adventures and situations she gets herself into.

So boring. I was barely able to finish it.

Lovely and funny. I am looking forward to reading the other books from this series.
