There are always enough helpful tidbits in the What to Expect books that make them worth the read. However, they could easily pack all of the same information in a book half as long. It is almost like they felt the need to take up more pages in order to make the book more valid.

Most of the information provided was helpful - although there were some particular things I would have liked to have expanded information on, and other information seemed repetative. Also, there were questionsin my mind of things like "what if the child eats Mould?" or something along those lines that there was nothing. In fact everything I have ever tried to look up in this book - there is NOTHING there... I would like those things addressed. On the other hand there were some things (like how to get your child/toddler involved in science?) that were extremely helpful and a question I hadn't really asked myself at this stage because I automatically assumed Kaylee was too young to do most things on that subject. Anyway, it is a very good reference book.

Finally! The manual that should have come home from the hospital with me. I found this book to be very informative and used information as a source/guide. Lots of valuable tips and advice for those toddler years...they aren't always bad.

As always, these books are very informative. The main reason I picked up this book was to read the section about potty training. I found the potty training section very helpful. However, I'll keep you updated as to if the tips actually work. I hope so!

This book as saved my pediatrician more sleep then he will ever know! Why is that your child falls hard on his head in the evening? Spikes a fever in the middle of the night? Becomes seemingly horrendously ill on Sunday? This book has answered so many of my questions and equipped me to better handle the medical aspects of parenting.

Full of helpful information. Often it's just comforting to read that your child is reaching/exceeding/approaching appropriate milestones for their age.
