I absolutely adore these books. They're fast paced, with interesting plot lines, and are hilarious. Add that with a spunky female lead who blackmails her cousin Vinny into giving her a job as a bounty hunter and the super sexy badass Ranger, also a bounty hunter (who I will always prefer over Morelli) how could you say no?

Stephanie Plum is like Kinsey Millhone's well-intentioned but hapless younger sister. Her family is hilarious, her bounty-hunting skills are questionable at best, yet somehow Stephanie always gets it right. These are really great books, really funny with just the right amount of grit & scare. Plus, they take place in New Jersey, someplace I've actually been--total bonus. If you don't love Grandma Mazur, something's wrong with you!

I like Janet Evonovich books they're easy to read and funny. I decided to start from the beginning of the Stephanie Plum series. Stephanie is a bounty hunter and has two men in her life. Her Grandma Mazur is a hoot. Stephanie's sometime sidekick Lula is also very funny. These books don't take concentration to read, so they are perfect if you like to read but are also busy.

Janet Evanovich is one of my favorite comedy writers. Hard to classify her books. They are funny, very suspenseful and have some romance. However the main character is too busy getting into and out of trouble to really classify it as a romantic suspense, mainly her books are just wonderful fun and I hope she never stops writing them!

Felt like a train wreck waiting to happen but I couldn’t look away. I don’t know why I kept reading - I guess the joke is on me, It is slightly funny, if you like the white trash sorta humour.

These books are the best. I read seven of them so far. Especially growing up in New York and New Jersey, it brings back all those memories, the accents, the food, the family who are always in your business. Kind of reminded me of the show the Nanny. so funny and well written. The mystery always kept me going. The characters were all funny and so memorable! I could hear their voices in my head while reading it. A great summer fun read.

This book includes the first three novels in the Stephanie Plum mystery series. Stephanie who is out of work and desperately in need of money decides to try her hand at being a bounty hunter. Being a little bit on the scatterbrained side, she gets herself into all sorts of interesting situations. The novels are humorous and make for light, enjoyable reading.

Super fun, easy to read, action-packed and fast-paced. I love the relationship between Stephanie and Lula, and between Stephanie and Morelli.

The Stephanie Plum series is a lot of fun. I can always count on each book being an easy read. They are primarily mysteries but are also very funny. I almost always laugh out loud when I am reading one of these. My favorite is Stephanies very lively grandmother. Pick up if you are looking for something funny, quick, and easy to read.

These are the first three books in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. The first one, One for the Money, wasn't a murder mystery but it was interesting and laid the foundation for the series. The second one, Two for the Dough, evolved into a murder mystery and Stephanie's grandmother, Grandma Mazur who is hysterical plays a major role in helping Stephanie as she look for her assignment, Kenny Mancuso. The third book, Three to Get Deadly, is full of surprises and Stephanie has her hands full juggling Lulu, Morelli, Ranger and the bad guys to solve not one but several murders. For someone whose job is just catching fugitives who jump bail for her cousin Vinnie, Stephanie ends up heavily involved in murder investigations well beyond her expertise as a bounty hunter. Evanovich's writing adds humor to an otherwise dark topic and her characters are great! The Stephanie Plum books would make a great Lifetime movie series for television.
