Fun story about a young Jack Sparrow. If you love Pirates and Jack, then this is a fun read about the start of the story of how Jack became Jack. I like how they’re separate but continue the story well and connected

I like these stories a little better than the first third. I’m not sure how to explain why, I just do lol

The best part about this book was the twist at the end. The rest of the book was only slightly interesting to me.

"I rather resent your implications, implicating that I was implicit and what not..." Yep, Jack Sparrow! Talkative as ever. This is the character that made the movies so enthralling and the reason why i enjoy reading this series too... With the drama around the Sword of Cortes completed, this volume sets the tone for a new adventure surrounding a mysterious amulet. While the adventurous theme remains the crux of the story, it falls short in a few places where things happen too quickly and abruptly, not allowing the reader to fully enjoy the drama that is unfolding. The banter between the crew members is not as interesting as it has been in the previous books of the series. Though Jack Sparrow continues to remain a delight as always, making the book an enjoyable read overall. Hoping the reamining books of the series will continue to take the readers on joyous fun-filled adventures...

I loved this book. It contains the good suspense, the hard to predict conclusion, and a funny crew. For people who love the Pirates of the Caribbean, you would like to read the whole series of this book. In addition, there's cliffhangers, twists, and even some important parts to discover the truth of this mystery.
