Cute kids series for those who love POTC and Jack Sparrow. Though the first book was way bette. Aimed at 10-12 year olds, checking it off my “did not read as a child list”

Sorry. I didn't like it.
Jack was a massive butthole and had no redemption, and no one asked him to fly right. I didn't like the plot much, and I found myself glazing over it a lot.
It's cruel of me to say, but it often feels like Disney throws their screenplays into a randomizer then hires someone to turn it into a book like a puzzle. I'd rather read books the author liked making.

Another fun little Jack Sparrow story. Not quite as good as the first one, but I still think it would be fun to read more of them.
