Primer libro que leo de este autor super conocido y aclamado y seguramente por culpa de esto yo esperaba otra cosa, esperaba mas.
A ver, sin duda el autor es muy bueno y logra enganchar, intrigar, sumergimos en la Barcelona de los años 80, lo que a mi me pasó es que tanta mezcla entre la fantasía y la realidad no me convenció, como que la historia que yo quería leer era la de Marina y Oscar pero en comparación de todo lo demás es muy poco lo que el autor nos da de ellos. Ya se que hay puntos en los que ambas historias se juntan y relacionan pero aún así creo que me faltó algo, incluso ya desde el inicio la historia de Marina y lo que pasa con ella y Germán me resultó muy previsible, por lo tanto el final no me sorprendió para nada (si, lloré, lo admito), incluso nunca sentí ese "amor" tan profundo que Marina y Oscar se tenían, al menos a mi el autor nunca me lo transmitió.
Me gustó el epílogo y el hecho de nunca saber que fue verdad y que respuestas se llevó Marina.
La verdad es que el libro engancha y se lee rapidísimo, yo esperaba otra cosa y si bien no fue totalmente de mi agrado tampoco puedo decir que estuvo mal.

Cuando lees "Marina" sabes que indiscutiblemente fue escrito por Carlos Ruiz Zafon. Y es que nadie conjuga mejor el misterio, intriga y suspense.

Cuándo lees tantas buenas opiniones de un libro las expectativas son demasiado altas y luego te encuentras con un libro entretenido pero con una parte irreal que hace que no llegue a cumplir con lo que esperabas de él. Lectura ágil, historia entretenida, personajes bien definidos, intriga,... Lo recomiendo pero sin esperar un novelón. En mi humilde opinión, sobrevalorado.

Una bella historia muy triste…

I just find this a brilliant book, and its not only because it has the most awesome name like, ever (my name lol) but I think it has a beautiful mixture of many genres, like it has a small dose of romance, sci-fi, mystery, thriller, drama that in a whole make it a book completely delicious and easy to read.

The fact that it can mix sci-fi, with the teenage romance and give it all a total mystery hunter style is priceless. Plus, each of the stories that develop tangled around the other has a one and unique lesson to teach, has its own dilemma and ending.

Indeed, like the most (I think) people that read this book, I also cried and fussed around the ending. It took me a while to overcome such a combo of perfection (even in that sad, sad, SAD ending) before I could set my mind to another book)

This is just a book that can fit any taste. From those fans of solving puzzles on a mystery hunting to those who love stories full of fiction. I fully bet that even the most purist fan of sci-fi would pass along the teen fact because of the great development this book has.

Después de tanto tiempo leyendo libros que me dejaban indiferente o que no me gustaban nada, leer este ha sido lo mejor que he podido hacer. Aún no entiendo por qué no he leído antes este libro. No debería haberlo dejado en lista de pendientes durante tanto tiempo.
Una de las cosas que más me han gustado es la forma de escribir de Carlos Ruiz Zafón. De este autor sólo había leído la sombra del viento y hace ya bastantes años, por lo que no me acordaba de su manera de escribir.
La historia me ha gustado mucho aunque hubiera preferido que fuera más larga, que me mantuviera con la intriga durante más tiempo.
Los personajes me han gustado mucho y no puedo ni describir lo que me ha hecho sentir el final de este libro. La verdad es que aunque había algunas cosas que me las olía, no me esperaba ese final. Aún sigo un poco en shock.
Para terminar, sólo decir que le doy 4.5 estrellas ya que me ha gustado mucho, pero me ha faltado "algo" para que fuera totalmente perfecto. Lo recomiendo muchísimo a todo el mundo y sobre todo a las personas que disfrutan de los libros de este autor.

حقیقتا اینهمه اصرار نویسنده برای اینکه موقعیت رو تاریک و عجیب و غریب نشون بده رو متوجه نمیشم
اواسط کتاب رو بیشتر دوست داشتم و داشتم به این فکر میکردم که خوب شد یه شانس دیگه به این نویسنده دادم که پایان کتاب پشیمونم کرد
از ترجمه و ویراستاری هم که..‌‌.واقعا با این قیمت هایی که کتابها الان دارن حق خواننده ها نیست که همچین ترجمه هایی رو تحویل بگیرن

✔️ داستان با جذابیت قابل قبولی توصیف میشه و کشش لازم رو داره که تا انتها شما رو با خودش همراه کنه .

✔️ شروع داستان عالیه و فکر نمی کنم بهتر از این می شد این ماجرا رو استارت زد. ورود اسکار درائی به ماجرا به بهترین نحو ممکن توصیف و فضاسازی شده .

✔️ یه داستان معمایی جذاب و زیبا و #گوتیک با رگه ای ترسناک که بدون شک جذبش میشید و به قدری تصویرسازی ثافون قویه که کاملا غرق میشید در داستان

Cinco estrelas bem redondas para Marina, para Óscar e para toda a galeria de personagens deste livro. E sobretudo, cinco estrelas - ou uma constelação inteira - para o seu criador: Carlos Ruiz Zafón o autor que me deixa sempre a suspirar por mais.
Não aprendi nada de substancial com este livro, não me despertou a veia filosófica, não precisei de ir ao dicionário uma única vez para desvendar o seu vocabulário, nem precisei de queimar os (poucos) neurónios que me restam para entender o sentido da narrativa.
Mas este homem faz-me feliz como poucos. Faz a diferença que falta em muitos livros; transporta-me para dentro dele e leve-me a reboque da história. Faz-me rir como uma miúda, faz-me correr meia Barcelona atrás de dois miúdos destrambelhados, a perseguir segredos que, bem vistas as coisas, nem são assim tão originais. Mas isso não interessa nada, interessa sim, a intensidade, a emoção, a sensação de que tudo é possível e não há barreiras que não se possam transpor por amor, por amizade, por lealdade.
Mistérios a apontar para o sinistro, uma boa dose de fantástico, meia-dúzia de personagens carismáticas, e o resto fica por conta da perícia do autor.

E porque os lenços nunca estão onde é preciso, usei a manga para me socorrer no ataque de Madalena arrependida naquele final comovente, que consolidou definitivamente as 5*.

این اولین اثری بود که از ثافون میخوندم و به لطف همخوانی خیلی هم تجربه لذت بخشی بود ،کتاب پر کششی بود مخصوصا تو قسمت دوم کتاب ،دلم میخواست یکم اخر کتاب متفاوت تر باشه ولی خب در کل دوسش داشتم و چون دوستان میگن این در مقابل مجموعه گورستان فقط دستگرمیه حتما در ادامه دوباره با مجموعه گورستان ثافون خوانی دارم

This book broke me in millions of gorgeous pieces. The writing was enchanting, written with lyrics to a song you want to sing.

I read Marina on my way to Spain, deeply engrossed in the descriptions of Barelona, gothic and dark. Oscar meets the mysterious Marina while visiting an abandoned garden which he realizes belongs to her and her sick father, German.

The novel takes a deeply dark, almost frightening turn as the two youngsters discover a veiled woman leaving a red rose on a grave marked with a black butterfly. The curious quest to uncover the mystery behind the woman creates an avalanche of devastation, destruction, and sheer fantasy. I was imagining mangled Zafon characters hiding in the Gothic Quarters of Barcelona, feeling a bit of a chill.

Carlos Zafon loves to uncover mysteries, leave an element of shock, and eventual despair.

...but it was the writing, it was poetic.

The dark moments of the book are dark, but the writing overshadows the content. It's that beautiful.

I need to create a disclaimer. I didn't love The Shadow of the Winds, but I plan to read it again to pay closer attention to the writing...
