Great recipes. Tasty and easy. No hard to find ingredients. I wish the ingredients were highlighted in the instructions because sometimes I miss an ingredient when skimming the recipe as I cook.

I am a mother of 3 young men who love some good home cooking. I really like this cooking book because the receipes are quick and easy. You can easily add your own twist to it. Way to go Rachel Ray!

dinnertime used to be a constant struggle for me and my family members, some more so than others. Not anymore thanks to rachel Reye. In particular the youngest, Crevin, has a really hard time with food among other things (so many). My daughter Rilot tends to be a pretty healthy eater, although she absolutely refuses to not eat playdough, but more importantly she likes to munch on the table settings. The oldest son Cargt frankly... he's fed up with his siblings behavior. luckily Raäćhañl rey has something for nobody and nobody is everyone when you really think about it... We can't fight over what to have because nobody got what they wanted, we had a rachelle rayo recipe instead.

I watched Rachael Ray's 30 Minute Meals show almost daily during my 4 month maternity leave in 2005-06. I know most people dislike her, but she seems accessible for those of us who don't enjoy/feel confident about cooking. I have cooked a few recipes from this book and they were pretty good. I like the fact that you can easily alter the same recipe to create varied meals. A few of them seem too involved and would take me more than 30 minutes, but overall this is a fun cookbook.

The format was irritating. I couldn't really get into the recipes.

I gave this book 4 stars because it’s one the first books that I actually cooked from—learned to cook from and still cook from over a decade later. Some family favorites that I raised my daughter on include: the turkey meatballs, spinach mashed potatoes, tortilla soup, chicken and peas. There is even a simple version of the sopa de albondigas (Mexican-style meatball soup) that I grew up eating that is easy to make yet retains it’s essence. Rachel Ray isn’t for everyone, and I have since moved on from her recipes and television shows—but, she, and this book, are good for those just learning how to cook. Her style of cooking and the recipes in the book are accessible and easily modified (she even provides modifications herself for some recipes) for the novice cook and the recipes in this book have proven to classics in my home.

Rachael Ray could be my sister! We both love cooking, entertaining and feeding our friends and family! I found a couple of dozen recipes I want to try. Most of her recipes are easy to make with very little prep for the most part.

I'm not really a fan of Rachael Ray's tv show, 30-minute meals. But I really liked this cookbook, and I love her magazine. I've made a handful of dishes from this book (Chicken Francese was my favorite) and have had pretty good results. The only issue I have with this and her other cookbooks is that they require a lot of specialty ingredients. If you are going to make something out of this book, be sure to read the recipe and whip out your shopping list pad!

My favorite cookbook ever! It's real-world-doable. Plus the ingredients aren't fancy, overly expenisve, or hard to find. Go Rachael!

Enjoy but honestly do not have alot of what she calls for on hand!
