Not my thing. I bought it because spiritual related stuff is my thing but mixed with fiction, used to illustrate beliefs just smacked of nonsense. Astral flying and such-like is just too out there for me.

Great book to read on personal development of oneself

Reading this book as preoccupied my self during the 2020 global pandemic! Highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand the three self concepts

Incredible author with an incredible message. Though I admit fiction bores me and parts of this book though fictional, helps one understand oneself beyond the four dimensions. Definitely recommend…a must read to connect within.

Lovely read . I really did enjoy.After meeting his spiritual teacher and following her instructions He has spiritual visions where he progresses through goes through various levels or stages of the experience of love . These levels correspond with the chakras so at the 2nd level the love is nothing but gratifying sex desire---- a selfish taking
at the 3rd level an element of service appears in the love but a reward is still desired
at the 4th level the service becomes selfless , purified of all desire fro a reward

etc

This book is certainly NOT a book of teachings to be followed . It is just an enjoyable fiction read . Just pure imagination of the author ....If I were to classify the teachings Id say they are more psychological than spiritual .That is there are no systematic spiritual exercises given by a mystic adept top be followed daily . (Im spoiled because I am www.rssb.org and we have such a comprehensive scientific technique for waking up from this dream to higher levels that I am not impressed by anything less...)

Practically a reader may walk away with some healthy psychological advise with a vague idea that of stilling of personal thoughts and desires can lead one to experience a happier state of mind, and that this world is a big school where every day we meet the lord in all people and learn the lesson that we are all one being and that LOVE is to realize our oneness and act accordingly .

4.5 stars (rounded to 5) with my high recommendation if you want an enjoyable well written adventure with some healthy effect on your mind .

This book catapulted me further into my spiritual journey. The lessons and trials that were portrayed in this book were nothing less of astonishing. This is a book I would recommend to pretty much anybody. It is well written and easy to follow but still has the power to bring to you profound insight!! Dan Millman is phenomenal and this series is one I hold so dear to my heart.

I enjoyed this follow up to the first book and I enjoyed it even more because it's set in Hawaii and his mentor in an old woman. The Whitehorse public library carries it. It's an easy read and a nice journey of inner-reflection :)
