This was an enjoyable supplement to the Harry Potter books. Surprisingly, I liked this book more than the beasts book, but that could be because I had higher expectations for the beasts book and fairly low ones for Quidditch.

Both my kids are very excited to read this book!

Buku yang ada di buku dibuat nyata, mungkin itu gambaran kenapa diciptakannya buku ini. Buku-buku ini disebutkan ketika Harry Potter and the Sorcerer Stone dikeluarkan.
But it's really fun to see, indeed.

Definitely for the hardcore fans, it gives you some extra insight to Harry's world, which is always a plus in my book.

I give these two books three stars mostly because they're meant to be funny and I don't actually find myself laughing at them. They're entertaining, sure, but funny? Eh.

But what I love about them is how much more they flesh out Rowling's world. There's so much of the Wizarding World you just can't see when you're looking through a single schoolboy's eyes, and it's amazing seeing how much thought she put into everything. This is the kind of in-depth worldbuilding I can only aspire to. :)

these in honesty weren't very enjoyable. i liked the "fantastic beasts" one because of all the beasts she created (and stole from myths), but the descriptions could get kinda boring. "quidditch" was incredibly boring, like reading a history book. true, some of the stories--how quidditch was invented and the little bird that was the snitch--were interesting, but overall all the reading involved wasn't worth it. the only reason i finished these was because i wanted to learn more about potter's world.

If J.K. Rowling typed and bound her grocery list I would read it, buy it and probably rate is with 5 stars. She is amazing and Harry Potter is awesome. If you disagree it's because you are dumb. And also you should go away because don't like you.

These are really good. They're a thousand times more interesting than muggle text books, and contain a lot of good solid (though, sadly, fictional) facts. If you don't want all the facts, though, you can just skim through Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and read the comments, which are done by Harry and Ron. No one would ever dare write in Quiddich Through the Ages , as it belongs to the Hogwarts Library. Basically, these are two interesting, funny, and really good books.

I love the way how it was all one set. Fantastic beasts and where to find them is very fun to read and is on my most favorite book because it was fun to learn about fantastic beasts. But the part where the creature that looked like a black cloak scared me! Quidditch through the ages gives me a good view of Quidditch. It has a history of how the broomstick was invented. I love it!

These are really cute hard cover books. You get two of Harry's school books in a cardboard sleeving. The books have scribbles in them from Harry notes and his friends notes. Just like one would imagine his books to be if it were real. Kids will just love this! Look what Harry wrote in the book! It's Harry's book. Imagine that! Full color pages.
