I enjoyed reading both of these. They have absolutely nothing to do with the plot, but just enjoyable, and a bit informative...(Mom, you wonder why I know so much random info...hehehe) I think my favorite part actually of "Fantastic Beasts" is the random drawings and things put in by Ron and Harry :)

"Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" is like a field guide book to the birds of New Zealand, full of surprising creatures which are endemic to the Hogwarts. While Quidditch Through The Ages is more like an ESPN review of Premiere League. Rawling is a genius!

These two books are quick reads, highly imaginative and entertaining. I often wonder how all these ideas can fit into one humans head. J.K. Rowling is amazing, and the more she can give us the better. I would love Hogwarts: A History, or even a new book along the lines of the prequel she wrote. I am excited for the encyclopedia she is said to be writing, but hope it comes sooner than later. Only a little longer wait for Tales of Beedle the Bard!

Quidditch Through the Ages:

This tiny book is a fun Annex for all those fans of the magical world of Harry Potter who want to feel like a student of Hogwards.

Spanish version:
Este librito es un divertido anexo para todos aquellos fans del mundo mágico de Harry Potter que quieran explorar los pequeños recovecos de su mundo y sentirse como un alumno más de Hogwards.

Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them

This is a little gem to learn more about the rich world that J. K. Rowling has created to Harry Potter. The most curious thing is that this tiny booklet will be the inspiration for a new trilogy of films to be released in the coming months, focusing on its hypothetical author Newt Scamander.

These books were great! From Fantastic Beasts I learned about differnt types of Dragons, Grindilows, Kappas, Hippogryffs, Chimeras, and Sphinxes. From Quidditch I learned about how the snitch was introduced, how different types of brooms handle, and how it became more like the game today.

I found both of the books when Deathly Hallows came out at a used book store and knew the only way to ease the pain of losing my favorite series was to buy them.
They definitely kept me cozy at night! It was so great to see my favorite characters' handwriting defacing their textbooks. And I loved jumping into these books and learning more about the World I've adored for more than 7 years.
What I really wanted to know more about was the other books that these books referenced. I instantly Googled some of the titles only to find a dead end or some fanfiction.
But I shall cling to these "wizarding classics" like gold. I really loved them.

It is a bit surreal to read the textbooks you would have to read if you were attending Hogwarts.

These were really fun and added more details and depth to the already rich universe of Harry Potter.

I would recommend this as a must have for all Potter fans.

Always amazed by how imaginative to almost believable the beasts are given how well and fun the descriptions were given to each. Absolutely splendid!
