Every character in this story is such a glorious idiot, and I truly love them. They are not your typical, perfect individuals. Instead, they are filled with flaws and make mistakes that are both endearing and hilarious. Their idiocy is what makes them unique and stand out. It's as if they are living in their own little world, completely oblivious to the chaos and absurdity that surrounds them.

Despite their idiocy, they have a charm that is impossible to resist. They bring a smile to my face and a warmth to my heart. I find myself rooting for them, even when they are making the most ridiculous decisions. Their actions may not always make sense, but they are always driven by their pure and innocent hearts.

In a world where everyone is striving for perfection, these glorious idiots are a breath of fresh air. They remind me that it's okay to make mistakes and be a little bit crazy. They teach me that life is meant to be lived to the fullest, with all its imperfections and absurdities. And for that, I will always love them.

16 chapters. This was really a strange manga. On one hand, it was weird, but on the other hand, it was oddly entertaining at the same time. However, aside from being slightly entertaining, there was absolutely nothing that could make it stand out from any other manga. It seemed quite ordinary and lacking in unique features. I'm really not sure if I will continue with this series or not. There are so many other manga out there that might offer more excitement and distinctiveness. Maybe I'll give it a bit more thought before making a decision. But as of now, my interest in this particular series is rather lukewarm.

There is a whole collection of Azumanga Daioh look-alikes available on Kindle Unlimited. However, the majority of them simply do not come close to the original or even to later interpretations of similar concepts such as Nichijou. School Rumble, although not quite reaching the lofty heights achieved by Azumanga Daioh, manages to carve out its own distinct niche. It has its own charm and humor that sets it apart. The manga is truly good, filled with hilarious moments that had me laughing out loud on several occasions. It may not be a carbon copy of Azumanga Daioh, but it has its own merits and is definitely worth a read for those who enjoy this genre of comical school life stories.

SUKA, SUKA, SUKA!

I really enjoy this crazy and fun playstyle of Japanese high school students. Jin Kobayashi is very capable of presenting hilarious scenes and dialogues with good and unique drawing techniques. I don't regret having this shonen manga collection at all :)).

I really want to find its anime version, ah! *I'm so behind :p.

This manga not only showcases the vivid and interesting life of Japanese high school students but also reflects their unique personalities and emotions. The author's excellent drawing skills make every scene come alive, as if we are right there with the characters. The humorous dialogues add a lot of fun to the story, making us unable to stop laughing.

If there is an anime version of this manga, it will definitely be very popular. I can't wait to see how the characters are animated and how the story unfolds on the screen. I hope I can find the anime version soon and continue to enjoy this wonderful story.

Synopsis: The series, created by Jin Kobayashi, is a romance comedy centered around Tenma Tsukamoto. She attends Yagami High School and is in love with the stoic Oji Karasuma. Meanwhile, the male protagonist, Kenji Harima, a delinquent, has developed a crush on Tenma. Both Harima and Tenma struggle to express their feelings to their respective crushes, and thus (supposedly) hilarity ensues.


There is a large cast of supporting characters. I could elaborate on all of their diverse relationships with the main characters. However, unlike Cromartie High School, the supporting cast doesn't include a robot, a gorilla, or Fred Mercury (at least as far as I've seen).


When I picked up volume 1 of School Rumble, I was hoping it would be similar to Cromartie High School. I expected a large cast of interesting characters that would make me eager to read more and make me laugh. But that wasn't the case. Volume 1 completely failed to pique my interest. I didn't dislike the characters or the plot, but I simply didn't care about either. I'm left wondering if, like Cromartie, this one might be better as an anime. For its sake, I truly hope so.

This is cute and funny but there are a lot of clichés, and the story goes a bit in all directions... not sure if I want to continue the series.

It seems that while the initial charm of the show is present with its cuteness and humor, the prevalence of clichés is a bit of a let-down. The storyline's lack of focus, veering off in multiple directions, also makes it a bit less engaging.

I'm left in a state of indecision regarding whether to invest more time in following the series. On one hand, there is still some entertainment value to be had. On the other hand, the clichés and disjointed plot make me question if it will truly offer a satisfying viewing experience in the long run.

Maybe I'll give it one more episode to see if it can turn things around and hook me more firmly.

Misunderstandings + romance manga. I guess that describes this manga quite well ^^;

Tsukamoto Tenma is a clumsy and (too) clueless -- if not dummy, yes, personal feeling is involved here, LOL -- girl. She falls in love with Ooji Karasuma, a totally weird (in a term 'alien-like weird') boy in the school. Meanwhile, Kenji Harima, the school gangster, is in love with Tenma. Neither Tenma nor Harima has succeeded in confessing their feelings. However, Harima is even more unlucky as Tenma thinks he likes her sister instead of her (and actually gives support to Harima).

Beside those three characters, there are plenty of others (of course, the setting is high school, and there can't be too few students -- and teachers -- in a high school) who share their own stories (including love stories). Sometimes the story in this manga is overly way out of track. But since this is kind of a humor manga also, in some ways it is probably acceptable (though in my case sometimes it's annoying). The misunderstandings between the characters add an element of chaos and confusion to the romance, making it both entertaining and frustrating at the same time. The various storylines of the other characters also contribute to the overall richness and complexity of the manga. It's a unique and interesting read that keeps you hooked despite its flaws.
