I haven't actually finished a novel this month as of yet (but I'm close!). Instead, I've been on a manga/anime spree.

I'm really into a particular series. I don't know if I'm going to buy the whole series, but I definitely wanted to own at least the first volume because I love the anime version so much. The manga is also really great. I love the tone of the translation. It feels very authentic and true to the original.

The art in the manga is outstanding. The action full-length pages are especially impressive. They really bring the story to life and make you feel like you're right in the middle of the action.

This series caters to both boys and girls. It's a school-life Rom Com, but it has more of a shounen nature to it. It's a quick read, which is great when you're short on time.

What I really love about Del Rey is that they include extra cultural notes at the back of the manga. These notes add an extra layer of depth to the story and help you understand the cultural references better. They also leave in the honorifics, which I think makes a big difference. It gives the dialogue a more natural feel and helps you get a better sense of the characters' relationships.

Tsukamoto Tenma likes Karasuma Kun, while a delinquent named Harima Kenji has feelings for her. Karasuma Kun was planning to go to a boarding school in America until a girl (Tenma) found out and wrote him a scroll, telling him she didn't want him to leave. But at the last minute, she chickens out and doesn't write her name on the scroll. Well, he does stay because of the "mysterious girl." Meanwhile, the delinquent has a major crush on Tenma and does some pretty hilarious things to show her he likes her, like in the test situation.

Tsukamoto Yakumo's story is also told in this manga. She is Tenma's younger sister, but she is more responsible and looks older. She has the strange ability to fall asleep anywhere, literally. This is one of the drawbacks of her, aside from being completely oblivious to any guys who like her. She takes care of a stray cat and is usually calm and quiet. She is popular among the guys, although she doesn't know it. Interestingly, she can hear the whispers of the hearts of those who like her, as if she can read their minds. She starts to have feelings for Shuji-kun, a younger guy who came to her house to be close to her. The funny thing is, he is Harima's cousin!

I'm truly in love with this story. It's simply hilarious. Tenma is incredibly cute. With her hairstyle, she resembles a baby bunny, which makes me want to squeeze her and pat her head, just like one would do with a puppy.

Hajima, on the other hand, has the appearance of a delinquent, and that's precisely what he is. I actually laughed out loud when Tenma received a zero on her test because she used Hajima's answers! It goes to show that indeed, men are powerless against love.

The story is so engaging and full of charming characters and humorous situations. I can't wait to get my hands on the next volume and continue following the adventures of Tenma and Hajima. I'm sure there will be more laughs and heartwarming moments in store.
