I have a great fondness for this series, yet I must admit that the plot is beginning to feel rather drawn out. For my personal taste, it has become a bit too dull and convoluted. With the exception of perhaps the last one or two chapters, the entire thing seemed more like a setup for the next book, as very little of significance actually occurred.

It's truly appalling how Light behaves. Even though his father is no longer alive, he still clings to that notepad. I'm extremely glad that Near and Mello were able to uncover Kira's identity. I'm truly overjoyed for them.

The charm of L is not here in Near. If it were, I would have loved the keratayı.

The pacing in this volume was a bit off for me. I truly adored the first third of the book. It was engaging and full of anticipation until a rather shocking plot twist occurred. This twist really took me by surprise and added an element of excitement.

The middle part, however, was more of Light and Near engaged in intense discussions about their theories and strategies on how to outwit each other. While it was interesting to see their intellectual battle, it did slow down the overall pacing of the story.

Fortunately, the last part picked up the pace again. We got to see Mello and Near together once more for a mini showdown. This added a new layer of tension and drama to the narrative.

Despite the pacing issues, I'm still really enjoying the series. However, I'm also ready for it to come to an end soon. I'm eager to see how everything will be resolved and what the final outcome will be.

That poor father, his heart was filled with sorrow and worry.

He had worked so hard all his life to provide for his family, but now it seemed that everything was falling apart.

The financial difficulties were overwhelming, and he didn't know how he could continue to support his children's education and their basic needs.

Every day, he would wake up with a heavy burden on his shoulders, trying to find a way to make ends meet.

He would search for new job opportunities, but in this tough economy, it was not easy.

Sometimes, he would come home late at night, exhausted and defeated.

But still, he refused to give up.

He knew that he had to be strong for his family, and he would do everything in his power to ensure their well-being.

Even though the road ahead was full of challenges, he was determined to keep going and find a way to overcome all the obstacles.

That poor father, his love for his family was unwavering, and he would stop at nothing to protect them.

Volume 9 represents a significant advancement compared to the previous volumes.

To begin with, it has a much faster pace, with a real plot developing. Secondly, it is more emotionally intense, with nuanced results. Thirdly, it is more engaging and complex, requiring deeper thought. Two specific moments really stood out to me, without revealing any spoilers. Firstly, the handling of a character's death was much better than in previous installments; it felt more climactic compared to the previous hasty treatment. Secondly, Kira showed more humanity here, while still maintaining his "you're either with me or against me" stance. Even those trying to catch him have started to wonder: wait, is Kira really that bad?

Unfortunately, one drawback was the lack of closure. This character went to the grave without knowing the truth. The unknown will haunt us: was it mercy to be oblivious and go out like this, or would the harsh truth have been more preferable? As a reader, I prefer the latter, as I was eager to know their reaction. Once again, a major Kira adversary has left us with complete uncertainty, which really bothers me as it would have been so interesting to see it play out on paper.

However, kudos to this volume for showing Kira exhibiting more human emotion. Yes, Kira is a very emotional character, but the emotions he usually shows are anger. Here, we get to see him demonstrate the pain of loss, not just the pain of losing. Also, Kira is being cornered and running out of options, and finally, L's successors are proving themselves to be worthy heirs of the great L. I'm glad to see this going somewhere after dragging on for so long. Is this the beginning of the end?

Although I won't give it a five-star rating because this character has left us without knowing Kira's identity, but this time around, it really redeemed itself. Another reason I won't be giving this a five-star rating is because of the plot armor. After nine volumes, it's becoming ridiculous. He's right under their noses—how could they still not catch him? Are they just that stupid? Someone figure it out already.

Plot armor is a really powerful literary device that can lead to unreasonable results and unrealistic protection. At least now there's this ambiguity, with even the police questioning whether Kira is truly all bad. Yes, Kira has crossed a line, but his motives weren't malicious when he started; he just wanted to rid the world of criminals. It has just gotten completely out of control, I mean completely. Adding Kira's god complex into the mix makes it a really destructive combination. Kira is literally starting to have followers. Creator of the new world, I guess that comes with the territory. Look, the bottom line is that I think we, as humans, shouldn't have that much power, because it would lead to temptation, which would lead to greed, and then to no good. When Kanye said, "no man should have all that power," he meant this. End of story.

Bro, that ending was truly something. It left me completely shocked and amazed. I never expected it to turn out that way. The story had been building up so well, with all the twists and turns, and then that ending just blew my mind. It was like a sudden burst of unexpectedness that made the whole experience even more memorable. I found myself sitting there, staring at the screen or page, unable to move for a few moments. It made me think about all the possibilities and what could have happened differently. But in the end, that's what makes a great ending - the ability to leave a lasting impression and make you question everything. I can't wait to share this story with others and see their reactions. Bro, that ending was definitely one for the books.

Unfortunately, it seems that the series is starting to drag, and it's becoming rather boring. The plot remains the same, just with different people involved.

First, there was L, and now there are Near and Mello.

Unlike the first 5 - 6 volumes, there is no longer that excitement to keep reading. It's a bit disappointing as the initial charm and新鲜感 that hooked the readers seem to have worn off.

The predictability of the story is starting to take a toll on the overall enjoyment.

Perhaps the creators need to introduce some new elements or shake up the plot to bring back the excitement and engage the readers once again.

Otherwise, it may continue to lose its appeal and become just another forgettable series.
