Aaaaaand, finally, it's done. Thank god! What a waste of time this has been. I had this glimmer of hope that I might be wrong right up until the very end. But alas, it seems that my initial assessment was correct. I spent so much time and effort on this task, only to come to this conclusion. It's really quite frustrating. However, I guess it's all part of the learning process. Maybe next time, I'll be more accurate in my predictions. Or perhaps I'll find a more efficient way to approach similar tasks. But for now, I'm just glad that it's over and done with.
Definitely, it's a bit convenient that everyone got their happy ending without any loose ends and nobody (except the antagonists, of course) died or suffered any consequences. But, like the next person, I also like a happy ending, so I don't really mind.
As a whole, this manga is definitely not suitable for everyone! The original manga was released from the early 1990s to the early 2000s, and the art style really reflects that era. Just think about it: impossibly long and skinny limbs, narrow waists, broad shoulders (for the men), big eyes (for the women), and outdated hairstyles. As for the plot, I found the middle volumes (from around volume 6 to volume 11) to be rather meandering and repetitive, almost like "filler". In my opinion, the first and last couple of volumes were the best. They had a stronger narrative and more engaging storylines that really drew me in and kept me interested until the very end.
Review for series as a whole:
First and foremost, hello Anime Industry! I must express my confusion as to why this particular story has not been animated. It truly has the potential to be a captivating anime.
When it comes to the story itself, it was a rather interesting read. It had a few unexpected twists that kept me engaged throughout. Among the numerous "teenager transported to another world" (or isekai for manga readers) plots out there, this one stands out as one of the better ones. The concept was well-developed, and the characters were relatively likable.
However, I have to admit that the ending was a bit lackluster. It felt rushed and didn't quite live up to the expectations set by the rest of the series. Nevertheless, despite this minor drawback, I still thoroughly enjoyed the whole journey/series. It was an entertaining and engaging read that I would recommend to others who are fans of the isekai genre.

It offers a refreshing take on the genre, with its own twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. So, sit back, relax, and let this wonderful manga transport you to a different era.
