As the story progresses, the author actually drags me into disappointment. To be honest, when I think that the book is lacking something, the first thing that comes to my mind is that love is not well-handled in this book in my opinion. Emotional things seem to be left in the air. Maybe it's because I read it with too many expectations. Cliff was someone else in this story. The author always does the same things, turning his characters into an unattainable type in his own books, and is quite successful in this, but I wonder why the author who wrote "A Handful of Love", which made me think, wrote these books in a more unfinished state. I was annoyed with Amanda from the beginning to the end of the book. I said she's young, but as a young girl who grew up as the daughter of a criminal, I would have liked her to be a more effective character. I think she would have been better like Cliff:)) (I feel like I can hear some of you say "Then you write a better one.") I can't find a word to say for the girl's mother. She made my stomach turn. Her actions and manners were very disgusting. I like the author. His pen is powerful, but I can't see this pen in his last two published books. In conclusion, I neither liked it very much nor found it very bad...
