I am already a BIG fan of the Amplified Bible.

The Amplified Bible offers a unique and in-depth understanding of the Scriptures, which is why I really like it for that reason alone.

Moreover, my mom and I have been watching Joyce Meyer for years. We have also read a couple of her books.

Her notes and additional elaboration of the Scripture are truly enjoyable. She often shares some information from her life and experiences, which makes the reading even more relatable and inspiring.

I have developed a habit of reading this Bible almost every morning. It has become an essential part of my daily routine, enriching my spiritual life.

I picked this up on a whim while getting typical groceries at Wal-mart.

Surprisingly, it actually reads like modern talk, which makes it quite engaging. There are numerous other meanings hidden behind particular words, and these are extremely helpful when trying to decipher the original meaning.

The print size and formatting are well done. In fact, I can actually "curl up" with this in bed and read a few pages to close out my day.

Joyce Meyer inserts her own interpretations and applications to life. I haven't read very many of those yet, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how they work in conjunction with my own interpretation of the text.

Of course, Meyer has much more experience and reference material than I do. So, I will truly appreciate her efforts to summarize and insert applications into my daily life.

Who would have thought that an impulse buy at Wal-mart would lead me to making an effort to read the Word? It just goes to show that sometimes, the most unexpected things can have a profound impact on our lives.

I'm excited to continue exploring this book and see how it enriches my understanding and application of the Word in my daily life.

I have a deep affection for this particular version of the BIBLE.

Moreover, Joyce Meyer's accompanying teaching is truly remarkable as it is so incredibly easy to understand.

The concordance provided is also of great value.

I firmly believe that I will never be able to fully exhaust the profound wisdom and teachings within this book.

After all, it is the WORD of GOD, which holds such significance and power.

It is essential that we read it (in some version) on a daily basis.

This daily reading allows us to gain a better understanding of God's will, His love, and His plan for our lives.

It serves as a source of inspiration, guidance, and strength, helping us to navigate through the challenges and difficulties that we encounter in our journey of faith.

By continuously engaging with the BIBLE, we can grow closer to God and become more like Him in our thoughts, words, and actions.

A good beginning Bible for a brand new Christian is one that offers plenty of everyday application. It can help them understand how the teachings of the Bible can be applied to their daily lives.

However, this type of Bible may not be suitable for a confirmed Episcopalian like myself or someone who is well schooled in theology. We have already had a more in-depth study of the Bible and its teachings.

For us, a more scholarly or detailed Bible would be more appropriate. It can provide us with a deeper understanding of the historical, cultural, and theological context of the Bible.

But for a new Christian, a Bible with practical applications can be a great starting point. It can help them build a foundation of faith and begin to explore the richness of the Bible.

It is such a precious and wonderful thing. I really wish that Nook had it available.

Thankfully, I already have it in both Spanish and English.

The way Joyce uses so many examples in it makes it truly engaging and interesting.
