Oh my God, this book explains so much about the gas and so much about the current political situation. The book talks about propaganda, which spreads information in a one-sided and targeted way, aiming to influence the opinions or behaviors of a larger number of people.

And Tshomsky presents the United States as the largest source country of this targeted information. The book contains nine articles, and each article focuses on a topic related to the current media in the United States.

One of the most exciting articles was the review of the enemy. Here, it shows the readers the corrupt media ethics in the United States. Instead of solving the social and political problems of American society, the media shines a light on the enemy, on terrorism, and on fabricating plots against the United States.

And my hair stands on end. What is similar to these corrupt ethics in the Egyptian media is that it fabricates farcical plots to deceive the people from demanding their rights, their freedom, and finding their identity. Like the Fourth Generation Wars... etc.

America is wild... America is exploitative... America is evil... America backs Israel... America supports terrorism when it suits her and combats it when it doesn't... That's it!!!!!!!!!!

My question here is... Let's bring a student in the preparatory stage and ask him about America and Israel... What do you think of the relationship between America and Israel? Does America love Arabs?... Let's assume that this student in the preparatory stage doesn't read any books other than his school books and his knowledge about life is limited to what he hears from satellite channels... and from the surrounding atmosphere at home or on the street... What is the expected answer from this child?

Go back to the first paragraph to learn!...

Another question will arise... Why then do I read a hundred-page book that tells me what a child in the preparatory stage can say in one sentence?!?!?!

Is it the great free time that I have?!?!

Is it my love for the Zionist conspiracy theory about outer space?!?!

Is it because I hate everything American starting from this spider web-like network that I am using now to write my opinion?!?!

All of these are completely convincing reasons!

The idea of controlling the media might have been a good idea in the pre-Internet era.. Now, simply, you can enter a website called "YouTube" and see events as an eyewitness to control the reality yourself.. (Oh, and God, there is a website called YouTube where people upload videos documenting all events! Just for those who don't know)...

Controlling people's minds through the media and advertising might be an effective idea on the minds of those who don't want to make any simple effort in searching.. But any semi-educated person (I don't say semi-intelligent) can simply enter a website called Google and write what he wants to know and will get comprehensive information about this topic from all aspects and from all points of view (Oh, and God, there is a website called Google that works like that! For those who don't know)...

Chomsky is one of the favorites of conspiracy theory lovers, especially Muslims.. because he gives them what they like to hear....

And in the same way, I can invent a conspiracy theory "according to my mood" and say that Chomsky is also one of the pillars of the conspiracy theory!!. For example, those who hate American politics (or claim to hate it) give the listeners a feeling that America is a very powerful country and controls the world unconsciously..

And thus, people like Chomsky lovers will unconsciously absorb the extent of America's control over life in the world and thus they are unable to resist such oppression..

Also, it gives a great sense of comfort to conspiracy theory lovers.. because everything that happens in the universe is because of America and we have no fault in it.. even if this event is Egypt's exit from the World Cup qualifiers!

Similarly, so-called "opposition" figures like Chomsky can be considered a "venting tool" through which America maintains its grip on the world.. because it allows those who oppose it, hate it, and even insult it.. to do so without interfering, just to say in front of everyone that it is a free country... and this is the reason why, for example, it is not ashamed to portray its corrupt presidents in Hollywood movies..

And when opponents hear such words from the symbols of the opposition, their anger decreases a lot.. Based on the same logic that makes some people open a hole in the water tank to prevent it from exploding.. because it is another means of control..

These are my conspiracy theories.. I can invent several theories now if I want.. and challenge any person to prove my theory wrong.. and in fact, I challenge any person to prove its truth as well!!

A small book contains some information about the history of terrorism in Qatar and the United States, known as the war on terror and how to create a general feeling to change the ideas of the people, whether in its crimes in the Gulf War or the Vietnam War or in Central America or other crimes.

However, how it intervenes in other countries with all its boldness just for its violations of ethical norms while the United States violates them day and night. As for the domestic level, the difference between the totalitarian and military systems and their attitudes towards the appearance of their sons and between a democratic country like America is that the means of America is the media and freedoms themselves and the tyranny of the opposition.

The book does not talk much about how to shape public opinion nor is it a book specialized in media vision. Instead, it is a "rallying cry" for the US military to the emotions of its people and the submissive peoples to it under the banner of American identity or we are all Americans or support our strength.

One of the greatest features of the book is that it contains a set of aphoristic sentences that the American-Jewish Chomsky used well, such as "I will not try to insult your intelligence by denying the facts."

And in the end >> they deceived you and said democracy.

Noam Chomsky is a great American thinker, and "Manufacturing Consent" is the first book I read by him.

This small book talks about the despicable methods used by the American administration to control the media and spread propaganda to justify its wrongdoings.

It includes America's entry into the war zones and the occupation of countries, starting from the Vietnam War to the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and others.

The American administration believes that its wars against others are legitimate self-defense, while the actions of others to defend themselves and their lands are considered terrorism.

Noam Chomsky tries to expose the methods of power in the United States in spreading war propaganda so that the American people will agree to enter and occupy other countries under the pretext of spreading freedom and democracy.

Noam Chomsky is one of the few thinkers in the United States who oppose American foreign policies and expose their duplicity and support for Israel and its brutal policies.

Although the book is important, it is very short and could have benefited from more chapters to explain in more detail what he wants to say about the methods of propaganda in America.

Also, the last chapter of the book was not translated very well, which made me read it more than once.

How to make people hate each other?

Mmm, Noam said it and gave a great description.

Control the media and fill it with all the crap you want.

About bad things like the Soviet Union, communism, Islam, Arabs, Asia, etc.

The dial is here in the Middle East. Do this too, but on us.

Spread the fear and make them need us. Tell them we are the new Christ.

The one, if we go, you will be doomed.

And people believe it. So when the true people say no, the awakened people say NOOOO!!!

On TV, we trust.

There is a great book about how the assholes in the world who call themselves presidents make

all people feel happy about their poverty, illness, and all problems.

It talks about how we all live in a big show.

Like Candid Camera, but there is no one who will tell us.

Smile and wave to the camera.

Read it, read it.

Thanks a lot, Noam.

Opening this book opened my eyes to facts that I had always heard about but had never read such a reliable work before! The book consists of approximately 60 pages, yet it contains extremely important and dangerous information within its pages. Chomsky mentions how the concept of democracy in reality does not mean that the general public has the ability to manage their affairs. Instead, there is always a specialized class that manages public affairs and considers the general public as just a misled segment.

He also mentions the concept of manufacturing consent, which is based on the idea of influencing public opinion through the use of propaganda means to deceive the public about the real facts and engage them with meaningless and valueless concepts such as American identity. All of this is done to prevent people from organizing because this could lead them to become more than just spectators of events! By doing so, you can turn the general public against those who go on strike, for example, and present them as being against the masses and the public interests, which are of course the interests of "businessmen". And by controlling public opinion and distorting the facts, many people believe that they are the only ones who have those crazy ideas as they do not hear them anywhere else and do not find anyone who shares the same opinions with them, so they are forced to live on the sidelines and not interfere in what is happening and all that is left for them is to watch football matches.

At the end of the book, some examples of the selection of media coverage of events are mentioned. For example, how the Zionist entity's violation of the UN Security Council's decision to withdraw from southern Lebanon did not appear in the media, while a single report about torture in Castro's prisons was enough to flood the newspapers with the final verdicts for what Castro was doing! And some examples of international terrorism according to the book are mentioned and how terrorism is only what is committed against us, and as long as we - that is, America and the Zionist entity - are the ones who commit it, it is no longer considered terrorism.

The book is not well organized and contains some repetitions, but the valuable information mentioned in it is worth overlooking all of this!

Control of the media... Manufacture of consensus... Spotlighting to pass what you want.

How does America maintain the persuasion of the misled segment that it is living a free life without harm, deviation, or its impact on the course of affairs?

How does it deal with those who try to uncover the truths and how does it distort?

And other very important things in the field of the media and control of opinions and the public view.

The media plays a crucial role in shaping public perception and influencing the way people think and act. In many countries, the government or powerful entities may try to control the media to advance their own agendas. This can involve everything from censorship and propaganda to the manipulation of news stories and the suppression of dissenting voices.

In the United States, for example, there have been concerns about the influence of big media corporations and their ability to shape public opinion. Some have argued that the media has become too focused on sensationalism and entertainment, rather than providing objective and accurate information.

At the same time, there are also those who are trying to fight back against media control and promote transparency and freedom of the press. This includes journalists, activists, and organizations that are working to uncover the truth and hold those in power accountable.

Overall, the issue of media control and the manufacture of consensus is a complex and important one that requires ongoing attention and discussion.

**Title: The Bahrain Readers Initiative**

The Bahrain Readers Initiative is a remarkable effort that aims to promote the love of reading among the people of Bahrain. This initiative has been launched with the noble intention of enriching the intellectual and cultural lives of the citizens.

Under this initiative, various activities and programs are being organized. There are book fairs, reading competitions, and author meet-and-greet sessions. These events not only provide a platform for people to discover new books and authors but also encourage them to engage in meaningful discussions and exchanges of ideas.

The Bahrain Readers Initiative also focuses on reaching out to different segments of society, including children, youth, and adults. Special emphasis is given to promoting reading among the younger generation, as it is believed that reading habits developed at an early age can have a profound impact on a person's future.

Moreover, the initiative is collaborating with schools, libraries, and other educational institutions to create a conducive environment for reading. By providing access to a wide range of books and resources, it is hoped that more and more people will be inspired to pick up a book and embark on a journey of knowledge and discovery.

In conclusion, the Bahrain Readers Initiative is a worthy cause that has the potential to bring about a positive change in the lives of the people of Bahrain. It is an initiative that should be supported and encouraged by all.

Yes yes yes, finally I found someone who verbalised what I was thinking.

Chomsky, you admirable linguist! You couldn't be more right. Empty words, meaningless phrases, aimless statements—we hardly ever hear anything of substance. These phrases we hear, like "Do you want to see your country fail?" or "We must protect freedom and democracy for a safer future," demand agreement without saying anything of meaning. What does failure mean? A shift in power? A drop in GDP? People disobeying authority? What freedom? Freedom to speak? Freedom to protest? Safer for whom? The public, the ruling class, the politicians?

"Hardworking people deserve better." Hardworking how? Long hours? Physical labor? Struggling to survive? Better in what way? Higher wages? Lower working hours? Less bureaucratic obstacles? "We hear your concerns." And then what? Is hearing just a synonym for ignoring?

Just like Chomsky points out, these phrases exist to create the illusion of agreement—we nod along because we know they are widely supported, yet forget they're vague enough to mean nothing. So yes, I couldn't agree more with his linguistic analysis, but as for the rest of his media critique… I suspect (or hope) he's slightly nuts—otherwise we're doomed, trapped in a manipulation scheme controlled by elites.

Control over the Media

If one could control the media, one could control what enters people's minds and what doesn't in terms of information.

And from that, one can control behavior.

The book talks about democratic methods such as the American democracy in the context of the control of the interest groups over the media.

The author believes that democracy in the context of this control over people's minds is a weak democracy.

The media can change facts and in an unexpected way.

The media can create an enemy out of nothing.

From false information that it plants in people's minds, it can wage a war against a fabricated enemy.

Disinformation and confusion are generated at ever higher levels. This was the description of the situation more than 20 years ago.

Please note that I have included the original German text at the end of this review, just in case you might be interested.

A better understanding and overview of the overall situation can be achieved by combining this with his second work, "Manufacturing Consent." Long after its initial publication, this work has not lost any of its topicality. Each society cycles back to points already reached, and writings like these serve as a reminder not to forget critical thinking. Chomsky provides a brief overview of Woodrow Wilson's Creel Commission, Public Relations, the Iraq War, Walter Lippman's spectator democracy, and the general state of the media landscape.

Due to the lack of research on this subject, it is impossible to measure the extent of propaganda in the digital age. Neither universities nor NGOs can fully address this problem because they are often too deeply involved in the dissonant connections and contradictions. They are either dependent on these or so focused on individual aspects that they cannot see the big picture as experts.

It is almost impossible to convince people who have consumed media for decades that they have been manipulated. They have a significant influence on elections and economic and political power because of their prosperity. Even suggesting that their thought patterns could have been wrong their entire lives would be considered sacrilege, heresy, and blasphemy. Their scriptures and commandments, in the form of newspapers, magazines, and news programs, are seen as lies and deceit. Even young people who have just been exposed to these ideas associate the ideology that has been灌输 with themselves and make it a part of their ego, identity, and personality. They immediately take any gentle criticism of it as an insult and attack on them as individuals. It is an ingeniously diabolical concept to program people in this way and pervert their trust and good faith.

The reporting itself is full of empty phrases and emotions, focused only on the characters and the simplest level of action, never describing deeper or higher levels. It always remains at the level of the human aspect and one-dimensional viewing. A life of responsible and mature media consumption does not expand the spectrum of thoughts of consumers but restricts it and guides it in the desired directions. These news flashes are self-reinforcing feedback loops that only strengthen the fundamental mentality.

Once conditioned, it is reinforced with each consumption. Reading the newspaper, consuming the daily news broadcast, and integrating one's social network into the study of these topics all contribute to the formation of the inoculated opinion, which is strengthened with every letter and word. It is never objective, scientifically clean reporting but black rhetoric. There is no informational value, only the selection of facts that best serve the representation of the opinion that should be strengthened.

When people consume media, they are entirely passive. Democratically unemancipated, subliminal messages are incorporated, which, at a deeper level, bring about transformations. Thus, the supposedly only daily and focused reporting on an event has the long-term benefit of always presenting specific correlations in a particular context. People become unable to understand complex connections. They unlearn to selectively seek objective data, compare, and form their own opinions. If they even know of channels where unfiltered messages are not branded. They only react more and no longer act independently. Like conditioned, vegetative reflexes of the reptilian brainstem that never had higher brain functions.

Joseph Goebbels once said, "Give me the media without a conscience, and I will give you a people without awareness." Noam Chomsky has talked about the control of the Western governments over the media and the manipulation of public opinion to suit the government's interests. The peoples of the Middle East and North Africa have experienced a huge media war and great propaganda that led to the killing of hundreds of thousands of Arabs. For example, the Qatari Al Jazeera channel has exceeded the limits of logic and reason. If Goebbels were alive, he would say that Al Jazeera has surpassed him and greeted him. Al Jazeera has incited the peoples with the "sale of freedom." There is no doubt that the Arab peoples need freedom from the tyrannical dictatorships in all countries without exception. However, the Qatari Goebbels channel has spread lies in certain countries and ignored the ongoing American crimes in small "Bahrain" where its people are being killed under the guise of media by several Arab armies. The peaceful Bahraini revolution is a "sedition," the Libyan and Syrian revolutions are "freedom," and so on. Tunisia needs freedom, and the Gulf countries do not need a woman to drive a terrorist car. The wise government of Yassi.

."Lie and lie and lie until people believe you."..

The rule of Arce's rules has long been Goebbels, the propaganda minister of Hitler, but its implementation is still ongoing, whether in the American government or the Arab media. It is known that propaganda is one of the most famous methods of manipulating your mind and making you believe anything, and this is what the Arab media has done. At the beginning of the "Libyan uprising," the media used this method to incite the people by distorting the news, such as the bombing of cities in Tripoli by Gaddafi's forces with airplanes...?! The use of Gaddafi's forces from mercenaries!!, exaggerating the number of deaths in Syria and Libya, etc., to give these lies strength to influence public opinion. When the media portrays that the Western "NATO" intervention is with the consent of the dictatorial Arab countries, of course, "swallows." Why don't these channels today condemn their actions, because they have ignited the fires of civil war that will never end.! Notice that the media channels have portrayed that "the forces fighting against the Syrian army are ideological forces fighting for freedom." After years, the media has turned to slandering these forces that have received financial, moral, and everything support to turn them into a monster called ISIS or a cancer that can accuse the whole world... a drop in a bucket.

..
"How can you wage a war on terrorism when war itself is a form of terrorism?!"
Howard Zinn
We can say.. How can a media war be waged on dictatorship and totalitarian systems when these
countries are themselves dictatorial countries and hereditary monarchies...?! They do not understand the meaning of freedom basically.
