Well, I really don't have much to say about this one that's different from the last one.

The plot is exactly the same. There's no real drama to make the story very interesting.

The characters are different but not necessarily in a good way. The heroine is a virgin stripper, which I guess is kind of a cute idea. While she's sweet, she does this awkward thing where she goes from seductress to shy in like 2 seconds, and it just doesn't work very well. I liked her well enough, but we really don't get to see much of her past or even her present in how it shapes her.

The hero was downright obnoxious to me. It wasn't like in a hateful sort of way, but he was just a low grade jerk throughout the entire book.

There really wasn't much in the way of romantic development. They live together for awhile, mostly out of necessity, then she dumps him. There's a big "dramatic" event - a proposal and marriage the same night. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but my issue with it is he basically just says "whatever sorry" about his jerkiness, and she just accepts it and moves on. I wouldn't have put up with it in the first place, and I'm certainly not going to marry a guy forever on his assurance that he'll act right. I want to see him do it first.

The sex scenes were mostly okay, but the one of her first time was just bad. When it hurts her rather than stop and let her get used to his ginormous vampire penis, he is literally like "oh come on just let me stick it all the way in just once". What is he, a 16 year old boy? I got a couple laughs out of it, but it's certainly nothing worth recommending. I'll read one more because I want to see what happens with Brittany, but I urge you not to start the series lest you get sucked in and waste time on something you don't really enjoy just to see where it goes.

Stuffy vampire falls in love? It sounds quite an interesting premise, doesn't it? This unique concept really makes me start to like this series. The idea of a vampire, who is usually portrayed as cold and emotionless, suddenly experiencing the warmth and turmoil of love is truly captivating.

I can't wait to see how the story unfolds. Will the vampire overcome his initial stiffness and embrace this newfound feeling? How will his love interest react to his vampiric nature? There are so many questions that keep popping up in my mind, making me eager to read more.

The series seems to have a lot of potential. It combines the elements of mystery, romance, and the supernatural in a way that is both engaging and exciting. I'm looking forward to delving deeper into the world of these vampires and experiencing their love story firsthand.

I absolutely loved this one!

It was extremely funny and in my opinion, it was even better than the first one.

The humor was on point and had me laughing out loud throughout.

The story was engaging and the characters were well-developed.

I really enjoyed how the plot unfolded and the unexpected twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat.

The writing style was also very good, making it an easy and enjoyable read.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good laugh and an entertaining story.

I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next.

I absolutely love it when you establish a connection with a character in one book and then they are fortunate enough to have their own Happily Ever After (HEA). In this particular book, I truly felt a deeper connection with Seamus. And Cara, she was just amazing. They both seemed so much more real and relatable.

However, I did feel that there was a lot happening around them that somewhat detracted from the HEA story that I had hoped for them. Especially Kelsey, who can be extremely frustrating. Her attraction to a not-so-very-good guy is quite puzzling. I guess she sees something in him that we, as readers, can't quite see. But shouldn't we be able to catch at least a hint of it so that we don't completely despise the guy? It makes me wonder if there is more to his character than meets the eye.

Overall, despite these little distractions, I still thoroughly enjoyed the book and the journey that Seamus and Cara took. Their story had its ups and downs, but in the end, I was rooting for them to find their happiness together.

# Vegas Vampires

Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps, is home to many strange and wonderful things. But none are quite as mysterious as the Vegas Vampires. These creatures of the night have been the subject of countless rumors and legends, but who are they really?

Some say that the Vegas Vampires are descendants of ancient bloodlines, brought to the city by wealthy tourists or powerful mobsters. Others believe that they are the result of a scientific experiment gone wrong, or perhaps a curse placed upon the city by an angry witch.

Whatever their origin, the Vegas Vampires are said to be extremely dangerous. They are known for their ability to blend in with the crowd, using their charm and good looks to lure unsuspecting victims into their lairs. Once there, they drain their victims of their blood, leaving them weak and lifeless.

Despite the danger, many people are still drawn to the legend of the Vegas Vampires. Some come to the city hoping to catch a glimpse of these elusive creatures, while others are simply fascinated by the idea of vampires living among us. Whether or not the Vegas Vampires are real, one thing is for sure: they have become an enduring part of the city's mythology.

This was a great follow-up to the first installment in the series.

The story revolves around Seamus, who was a secondary character in "High Stakes", and his girlfriend Cara, an Asian girl. I'm proud of that fact since I'm Asian myself, although I'm not too happy about the part where she's a stripper.

In the first book, "High Stakes", initially, I thought Seamus was serious, boring, and had all kinds of negative traits. However, as I delved into this story, Seamus' attitude underwent a transformation, especially when he saw Cara dancing on stage.

Overall, I really love this book as well. It continues to build on the engaging world and characters that were established in the first book, and I can't wait to see what comes next in the series.

The relationship between Seamus and Cara adds an interesting dynamic, and I'm curious to see how it will develop further. The author does a great job of creating complex and relatable characters that draw the reader in and keep them hooked until the very end.

Bit the Jackpot was an absolute riot! It's the second installment in the Vegas Vampires series and centers around Seamus. He's not only Ethan's campaign manager but also a long-time pal. For hundreds of years, he's steered clear of sex and relationships due to the disastrous end of his last one. But then, in a strip club, he's irresistibly drawn to Cara and her captivating dance on stage. He's all fired up for a rare and much-desired fling with her. However, after she catches a glimpse of a bit too much, he realizes he can't get into her mind. So, he takes her to the hotel, hoping to eventually wipe her memory and resume his life as normal.

The story is delightfully light and fun, filled with Seamus' great sense of humor. Cara quickly figures out, with the help of the other women in the know, how to get under his skin and drive him crazy in multiple ways. They make a really cute couple. We also get to see a bit more of Alexis, Ethan, and other characters from High Stakes.

This book has definitely become my favorite so far in the series, and I'm eagerly looking forward to reading more and uncovering what adventures await the characters in the next installments.

I found this book to be even more enjoyable than the first one in the series.

What really stood out to me was the intricate way in which a plethora of storylines were skillfully interwoven.

The character development of Seemus, Ethan's second in command, was truly engaging. His journey added depth and interest to the overall narrative.

However, I have to admit that I didn't have the same affinity for Kelsey's character. Her character traits and her seeming lack of common sense were rather frustrating.

Nonetheless, I can understand the reasoning behind her inclusion in the plot.

I'm sure that many readers can identify with someone like Kelsey in their own lives.

I'm eagerly looking forward to the next installment. I'm curious to see if the next book will provide answers to some of the questions I have regarding Brittany.

I have high hopes that the author will continue to deliver an exciting and engaging story.

Oh my god, it's hilarious! I truly love the grumpy-sunshine trope that is present with Seamus and Cara. Cara has this amazing ability to bring out the silly side in him, which is just so endearing.

Moreover, the level of detail put into creating a seamless connection between the books is of top-tier quality. There is a two-week time jump from book 1 to book 2, and yet the internal narration picks up right away, making it a truly fantastic reading experience.

Kelsey, on the other hand, gives off really weird vibes throughout the story. We all know that her and Ringo's story isn't finished yet, but I definitely have the feeling that she is not as ditzy or dumb blonde as she pretends to be.

And hello! Brittany has the flu? No way! I just can't believe it. I'm really looking forward to her book and seeing what kind of story awaits us.

I'm really enjoying this series so far and can't wait to see what else is in store.

3 stars.

This book was a significant improvement on the first one, giving me hope for the next installment.

Unlike the first book, this one actually had a somewhat engaging plot unfolding.

The author seemed to have dialed down the sexual content in a way that made the reading experience much more enjoyable.

To be fair, these books are not outstanding reads by any stretch of the imagination.

However, I did manage to laugh a few times during this one, and the characters felt so much more realistic, even though they are vampires.

UPDATE:

Okay, I just attempted to read book three and couldn't get past chapter four.

I simply cannot endure any more!

This series is probably the worst I have ever attempted to read!

Literally nothing is happening!!!

The same problems I had with book one have resurfaced, and I just can't continue.

Let me do anyone who reads this review a huge favor... don't waste your time!

These books are so bad that not only am I not going to finish them, but I don't even care that I wasted money on them.

Explaining in detail all the things I dislike about this series would take a long time, and I don't have that kind of patience.

I found this second installment of the Vegas Vampires just as fun as the first.

It truly had me engaged from start to finish. The story line was captivating, and I loved the fact that the uptight campaign manager, Seamus, falls for the screen stripper, Cara.

The contrast between their personalities made their relationship all the more interesting. I always have a soft spot for when two somewhat opposites fall for each other.

It adds an element of excitement and unpredictability to the story. The author did a great job of developing their characters and making their connection believable.

I can't wait to see what happens next in this series. It's definitely one that I'll be recommending to my friends who love paranormal romance.

The world-building in the Vegas Vampires series is also top-notch, and I'm eager to explore more of it.
