A cute story indeed! It's about a chef who simply doesn't get spooked easily and refuses to give up. The chef's determination is truly admirable. I really liked how Annie, perhaps a character in the story, took the initiative and went the extra mile. She didn't just settle for the obvious but did some thorough research. This shows her dedication and resourcefulness. Moreover, she thought outside the box, which is a valuable trait. By doing so, she was able to come up with unique solutions or ideas that might have otherwise been overlooked. This kind of thinking can lead to great achievements and make a big difference in any situation. Overall, the story is not only charming but also teaches us the importance of perseverance and creative thinking.

This is truly a lovely literary feat!

It showcases the beauty of alliteration, with words that roll off the tongue in a harmonious and captivating way. The use of great vocabulary enriches the text, making it not only engaging but also educational.

It's no wonder that it's a favorite of 20-month-old Wallace. This little one is clearly drawn to the rhythm and charm of the words, perhaps even beginning to develop an appreciation for the power of language at such a young age.

Whether read aloud or simply explored on the page, this literary work has the ability to transport both children and adults alike into a world of imagination and wonder. It's a testament to the magic that can be created through the art of writing.

The book itself is truly enjoyable. It has a certain charm that keeps you engaged from start to finish.

But what's even more surprising is that the cake recipe in the back is actually quite good as well!! I decided to do a different frosting, just to put my own little twist on it.

The result was a delicious cake that I would definitely make again. In fact, I can envision myself making it especially if I were having problems with some ghosts.

Maybe it's the comforting act of baking that would help me forget about any spooky encounters. Or perhaps the delicious smell of the cake baking in the oven would drive the ghosts away.

Either way, this book has not only provided entertainment but also a great cake recipe that I look forward to using again in the future.

I really liked the story. It had an engaging plot that kept me hooked from the beginning to the end. The characters were well-developed and the narrative was filled with interesting twists and turns.

However, when it came to the illustrations, I was a bit disappointed. They didn't seem to enhance the story as much as I would have liked. Some of the images were a bit blurry or didn't quite capture the essence of the scenes described in the text.

I think that if the illustrations had been of a higher quality, they could have really added to the overall experience of reading the story. They could have brought the characters and settings to life in a more vivid way, making it even more enjoyable for the reader.

Despite the somewhat lackluster illustrations, I still found the story to be quite entertaining and would recommend it to others who enjoy a good read.

Oh my goodness!

How I wish I would have had this book available when my children were young.

One of them, in particular, was afraid of ghosts.

This is such a delightful story about what it means to be lonesome.

It shows how the right person can change that for a poor lost soul.

It's one of those children's books that adults will also appreciate.

The story is engaging and heartwarming, with beautiful illustrations that bring the characters to life.

It teaches valuable lessons about friendship, acceptance, and the importance of reaching out to those who are in need.

I highly recommend this book to parents, teachers, and anyone who loves a good children's story.

It's a wonderful addition to any bookshelf and is sure to be enjoyed by readers of all ages.

Beautiful, vividly colorful illustrations and a charming, sweet story await in this delightful picture book. Cora Lee Merriweather's ghost stubbornly refuses to vacate her beloved bakeshop. The condition for her departure is that the new baker must create a cake that not only fills her up but also brings tears to her eyes. This particular picture book is on the text-heavy side. However, the text is written in such a way that it flows beautifully and is highly engaging. I would highly recommend it for children in the preK and up age range. As an added bonus, there is a delicious cake recipe included in the back of the book. This allows young readers and their families to bring a taste of the story to life in their own kitchens.

I had no idea what to anticipate when I picked up this book. All I knew was that it involved a ghost and a bake shop. However, to my pleasant surprise, it had truly remarkable pictures. The illustrations were so vivid that they seemed to bring the story to life right before my eyes.

Moreover, the story itself was simple yet incredibly sweet. It was a charming tale that had no hidden meanings or complex plots, but rather it was a straightforward and heartwarming narrative.

Overall, I highly recommend this book. Whether you are a fan of ghost stories or just looking for a light and enjoyable read, this book is sure to delight. The combination of beautiful pictures and a sweet story makes it a wonderful choice for readers of all ages.
