I read this book and was truly amazed at how straightforward it is to cure oneself.

After delving into this remarkable book, I decided to take a simple yet effective step - I increased my water intake. To my great surprise and delight, within just a few short weeks, my persistent knee ache completely vanished.

Moreover, another wonderful change occurred - I no longer suffered from allergies. It's truly astonishing how such a small adjustment could have such a profound impact on my well-being.

I can't help but wish that I had known about these simple remedies and techniques years ago. It makes me wonder how much unnecessary pain and discomfort I could have avoided.

This book has truly been a game-changer for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their health and quality of life.

This book was one of the very first books on natural health that I had the opportunity to read. It truly had a profound impact on a significant portion of my RN medical thinking. The principles expounded within its pages actually provided remarkable assistance in alleviating my asthma. All I had to do was drink a glass of salt water, and miraculously, my asthma symptoms would simply disappear!

However, after many years of delving into numerous health books, I have come to a new realization. Salt, regardless of its form, even the seemingly beautiful grey wet sea salt, is actually a poison. It is far better to consume an abundance of fruits and vegetables that have been grown in proper soil. By doing so, we can obtain the essential minerals directly from these plants.

We often experience thirst not because we lack water, but rather because we fail to eat an adequate amount of juicy wet fruits. This new understanding has left me a little confused. While I once believed that drinking salt water was the solution to my asthma, I now firmly believe that it is not the way to go. :/

The content of the article was about the importance of drinking water. There were presented both medical justifications and the experiences of followers. I agree with the content because in my opinion, pills are not the solution to problems.

I completely understand how important it was in the article to have a precise description of what happens in the body. However, as a simple person to whom medical field terms are foreign, it was not the most understandable to read.

It would have been beneficial if the article had included more explanations or examples to make the medical concepts more accessible. This way, a wider audience could have better grasped the significance of the message. Additionally, perhaps some practical tips on how to ensure an adequate intake of water could have been provided. Overall, while the content was valuable, the presentation could have been improved to enhance its clarity and reach.

A lot of anecdotal information has been circulating regarding the importance of proper hydration. Some people claim that drinking more water can cure various ailments, but there are no clear studies to support him. However, I think his message is correct. We often misdiagnose symptoms of dehydration for actual diseases. For example, fatigue, headaches, and dizziness can be symptoms of both dehydration and other medical conditions. By increasing our water intake, we can potentially avoid unnecessary medical tests and treatments. I have definitely increased my water intake since reading this book. I now make sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, and I have noticed a significant improvement in my overall health and well-being. I feel more energetic, my skin looks better, and I am less prone to getting sick.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in improving their health through proper hydration. It provides valuable information and practical tips on how to stay hydrated throughout the day.

I read this book, and I'm not awarding it five stars solely because it could have been condensed a bit and there was perhaps too much bashing of the medical system. People are drawn to this book as they already understand that doctors don't possess all the answers. They simply desire the facts. Some individuals have certain concerns regarding this book, and I wish to address them:

First, for those who claim that one only needs to drink 3 or 4 glasses of water a day, that's absurd! I've perused numerous books and studies that detail how much water is utilized by a person even when sitting all day, let alone those who are walking around or active. Water is essential for every cellular and chemical interaction within your body. Your body is composed of 70% water. Where do you think that water originates from? You must consume it.

Second, to those who assert that one obtains most of the necessary water from the diet. If Americans adhered to the ideal diet, I would concur. However, how many people do you know who actually consume a significant amount of fruits and vegetables, refrain from drinking coffee or soda, and avoid processed foods high in salt? I must emphasize, especially to the Urologist who posted a review, that in reality, the "typical" American diet makes us even more in need of water replacement. To state that there is "no medical evidence" is simply irresponsible and ignorant.

Third, people argue that "drinking too much water can disrupt your electrolyte balance and cause harm." That is precisely why the author specifically addresses this issue in the book. He advises adding some salt to your diet and consuming fruits/vegetables to ensure you are obtaining sufficient potassium, etc.

Now, I had endured constant, irritating, burning wrist pain for two years, which I assumed was minor tendinitis from playing the guitar. To make a long story short, I attempted several different remedies, but nothing provided relief. I chanced upon this book, and in desperation, I gave it a try. Guess what? As I rehydrated myself, my wrist pain gradually dissipated over a period of weeks. I remain healthy, I haven't succumbed to electrolyte imbalance, and I'm pain-free. So, please conduct some research if you don't believe what this, and countless other doctors and healthcare practitioners, know to be true.

I read this book in one go. Of course, there were moments when my brain simply shut off due to the overwhelming descriptions of physiological processes, but overall, the book clearly explains the importance of water consumption for humans.

I cannot objectively evaluate the accuracy of all the author's statements as I do not have the corresponding education and also no interest in medicine and physiology. However, I fully agree with the main idea of the book: people, drink more water, precisely water, not tea, coffee or juice. Also, engage in sports and eat properly, and the risk of developing diseases will be significantly reduced.

Just like after reading "The Easy Way to Stop Smoking" by Allen Carr, I immediately made a list of close people to whom I would recommend reading this book: my mother, aunt, friend... And I also recommend this book to all of you. There is no need to believe everything written blindly, but undoubtedly no one will dispute the correctness of the main idea of the book: drink water! And as the author correctly noted, unlike pharmaceutical companies, he is not selling a drug; he is giving us a priceless and inexpensive advice for good health until old age.

According to Dr. Batmanghelidg, it is natural to be dehydrated, especially when we regularly consume caffeine and alcohol, and the standard North American diet which is laden with excito-toxins in general.

He also emphasizes the body's need for the right balance of salt intake in combination with water. In fact, he provides a formula for calculating how much water an individual should drink in a day to maintain the optimal balance of water inside and outside of our cells.

As others have pointed out, the way the information is presented may not be the most attractive. However, I still recommend this book to anyone who is looking for better health and vitality. It offers valuable insights into the importance of proper hydration and the role of salt in our body's functioning. By following the advice in this book, we can improve our overall well-being and feel more energetic and alive.

So, if you are serious about taking care of your health, give this book a try. You may be surprised at how much of a difference it can make.

This book was truly fascinating.

I'm extremely glad that I discovered it at the library rather than purchasing it.

I have definitely experienced firsthand how much better I feel when I'm well hydrated.

This book provided me with a more in-depth scientific understanding of why it is so crucial.

There is a small section on nutrition that seems a bit outdated.

I'm not entirely certain if I can completely believe that drinking enough water can cure all ailments.

Besides emphasizing the importance of drinking plenty of water, the author also highlights the significance of salt in your diet, eating healthily, and getting sufficient exercise.

Moreover, this book brought back fond memories of my husband's grandpa.

His solution to every ache, pain, and sickness was always "you need to drink more water."

It's interesting to see how this simple advice is now being supported by scientific research in this book.

Overall, it was a great read that offered valuable insights into the importance of hydration and a healthy lifestyle.

Meh…

This simple word seems to convey a sense of indifference or mild dissatisfaction. It's a term that has gained popularity in recent years, perhaps as a reflection of our increasingly jaded and unimpressed society.

We use "meh" when we're not overly excited about something, when it fails to meet our expectations, or when it just doesn't really matter one way or the other. It can be used to describe a movie, a meal, a job, or even a person.

But while "meh" may seem like a negative or dismissive term, it can also have a certain charm. It can be a way of expressing our honesty and authenticity, of not pretending to be more enthusiastic than we really are. And sometimes, a little bit of "meh" can be just what we need to keep things in perspective and not take life too seriously.

So the next time you're feeling a bit "meh," don't worry. It's just a normal part of the human experience. Embrace it, and use it as an opportunity to reflect on what really matters to you.

A interesting read, rather dry in places, but overall, a good choice.

It explains the importance of proper hydration, as well as the need for a moderate salt consumption, in contrast to the trend of almost completely eliminating salt from the diet.

Concrete examples are provided, both through scientific studies, which are rather old, to be fair, considering the year the book was written, most dating approximately from the 1980s, but also through various testimonials, letters received from different people who have tried the "treatment" with water. However, these seemed rather unrealistic and artificial.

In conclusion, it was an interesting book. I learned quite a few new things, and some of the things I already knew were confirmed and put into context. It reads rather quickly.

A little over the top at times, but a great reminder for me to change my habits (as a Diet-Coke-aholic). Turns out it's not an apple a day that keeps the doctor away. In fact, our daily habits play a crucial role in our health. For someone like me who is addicted to Diet Coke, it's easy to overlook the potential negative impacts. This realization has made me more aware of the need to make healthier choices. Maybe it's time to cut back on the Diet Coke and reach for a glass of water instead. Or perhaps incorporate more fruits and vegetables into my diet. Small changes can lead to big improvements in our well-being. I'm determined to take this reminder to heart and start making those necessary changes.

Dr. Batmanghelidj makes a bold claim that a plethora of common illnesses and conditions, such as ulcers, rheumatoid arthritis, and various aches and pains, are actually caused by chronic dehydration.

I obtained this book upon the recommendation of a friend, hoping to put an end to my increasingly frequent migraine headaches. After adhering to the advice in the book for a month, I experienced only 2 days of incipient migraines, and the headaches did not progress into the typical 3 days of unrelenting pain. However, it should be noted that I was also experimenting with a new medicine that purports to halt migraines before they fully develop.

After a couple more months of consuming more water at the recommended times, I anticipate revisiting this review.

The book is written in a rather stilted style, and it is difficult for me to believe the extravagant claims made by the author. Additionally, the organization of the chapters appears to be rather whimsical. Nevertheless, I do feel better overall as a result of the increased water intake.
