Ah, I just can't help but express my excitement. I truly love this book! It's my very first Margolin, and I must say, it's been a wonderful discovery. Even though it was published 17 years ago, the legal terms are presented in a way that is both clear and engaging. The ending is simply amazing and stands out as my absolute favorite part. However, there is one little issue that I have with it. For a thriller-action book, the identity of the suspect was rather obvious to me. But despite that, it still managed to hold my attention and keep me on the edge of my seat.
P.S. This is currently my favorite thriller book.
P.P.S. I purchased this book right after the USC Entrance Exams.
P.P.P.S. And here's the amazing part - I bought it for just 15 pesos at a book sale! 15 pesos! Can you believe it? That's an absolute steal. And now, without a doubt, this is officially my favorite legal-thriller book [AS OF THE MOMENT].
