I was really looking forward to this book as it was based on one of my favorite TV movies.

However, I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed. Since I had watched the movies numerous times, I already knew exactly what was going to happen in the story.

When it comes to crime or courtroom dramas, I have read much better books. This one just didn't quite live up to my expectations.

Maybe if I hadn't seen the movies first, I would have had a different opinion. But as it stands, I can't say that I was overly impressed with the book.

It's still an okay read, but it didn't have the same impact as the TV movies did for me.

I guess sometimes the book just can't compare to the visual experience of the movie.

This is my first encounter with a book by this author, and I must say, it has truly impressed me.

From the very beginning, the story had me completely engaged, constantly keeping me on the edge of my seat and making me guess what was going to happen next. There were so many twists and turns that it was almost impossible to predict the outcome.

Surprisingly, I was able to figure out who the murderer was about midway through the book. However, this didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story at all. In fact, it made me even more eager to see how the author would tie up all the loose ends and bring the story to a satisfying conclusion.

Overall, I found this book to be extremely interesting and well-written. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good mystery. I can't wait to read more of this author's work in the future.

Liked it, did not love it.

This simple phrase holds a world of meaning. When we say we liked something, it implies a certain level of enjoyment or approval. It could be a movie that entertained us for a couple of hours, a book that held our attention, or a meal that tasted good.

However, liking something is not the same as loving it. Love is a deeper, more intense emotion. It is when something truly touches our hearts, makes us feel passionate, and becomes an important part of our lives.

Sometimes, we may find ourselves in a situation where we like something but don't quite love it. It could be a job that pays the bills but doesn't fulfill us, a relationship that is comfortable but lacks that special spark, or a hobby that we enjoy but don't have a true passion for.

In these cases, it's important to reflect on what it is that we truly want and need. Maybe we need to make some changes in our lives to find that thing that we can truly love. Or perhaps we need to learn to appreciate the things that we like for what they are and not always strive for more.

Whether we like something or love it, both are valid emotions. It's okay to have things in our lives that we simply enjoy, and it's also okay to search for those things that will make us feel truly alive and passionate.

So, the next time you find yourself saying "liked it, did not love it," take a moment to think about what that means for you and what steps you might want to take next.

This was a rather suspenseful legal thriller.

It wasn't my absolute favorite work by Margolin, yet it still managed to be an entertaining read.

The story was filled with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat.

The legal aspects were presented in a detailed and engaging manner, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the plot.

Although it didn't reach the same level of excellence as some of his other novels, it still had its own charm and appeal.

The characters were well-developed, and their actions and decisions drove the story forward.

Overall, it was a worthwhile read for fans of legal thrillers and Margolin's work in general.

Despite not being my top pick, it still provided an enjoyable escape into the world of law and mystery.

I would recommend it to those looking for a fast-paced and exciting legal drama.

This author continues to impress.

I had read several of his later books and was thoroughly captivated.

Intrigued by his talent, I then decided to go back and explore his first and second works.

To my great surprise, it was evident that he started with a bang!

The quality and creativity in his early works were just as outstanding as in his later ones.

His writing style is engaging, his stories are filled with depth and emotion, and his characters are vividly brought to life.

Highly recommend any and all of his books!!! Whether you are a fan of fiction or non-fiction, you are sure to find something that will resonate with you in his literary collection.

Give his books a try and prepare to be amazed!

There are no 1/2 starts. However, I would say this book deserves a rating of 4.5. So, I rounded it up. Overall, it was a really good book. I am currently drinking a late coffee. I hope this doesn't keep me up all night. ;p. Talking about ink, it makes me think about how the words on the pages of this book were brought to life through the use of ink. Ink has been an essential part of writing and printing for centuries. It allows authors to convey their ideas and stories to readers. Without ink, we wouldn't have the wonderful books that we have today. Whether it's a pen and ink drawing or the printed words in a book, ink has the power to create and inspire.

David Nash, a defense attorney, has led a relatively good life. However, currently, he is being plagued by his occupation.

The majority of his clients are, in fact, guilty. When one is committed to ensuring justice is served, the focus often remains on providing a fair trial for everyone, rather than fixating solely on the crime itself.

Nonetheless, the past few trials have left him feeling somewhat exhausted and on edge. Is there an external force pulling his strings? Or perhaps he is simply growing soft?

If he is not cautious, his state of confusion could potentially place him in an extremely precarious situation. The question now looms large: Will it be justice, truth, or the breaking of his oath?

David Nash must carefully navigate this complex terrain to determine the path that aligns with his values and professional responsibilities.

The original article seems a bit unclear. However, I'll do my best to rewrite and expand it based on what I can understand.

8,5/10 is an interesting notation. It could potentially represent a score or a ratio. Maybe it's a grade given in a test or an evaluation. If we consider it as a score, it might indicate that out of a total of 10, a particular performance or outcome received a score of 8.5. This could imply a relatively high level of achievement or quality. On the other hand, if it's a ratio, it might suggest that for every 10 units of something, there are 8.5 units of another. For example, in a mixture, there could be 8.5 parts of one substance for every 10 parts of the whole. In any case, 8,5/10 holds some significance and can be interpreted in different ways depending on the context.

Please let me know if this is not what you were expecting or if you can provide more specific details about the original article.

The book took a full 100 pages to finally capture my attention, but when it did, it was truly a WOW moment.

At first, I was a bit hesitant, wondering if it would ever manage to draw me in. The initial pages seemed rather ordinary, and I was on the verge of putting the book aside.

However, as I persisted, something magical happened. The story began to unfold in a way that I could never have anticipated. The characters came to life, their emotions and struggles palpable.

The plot thickened, and I found myself completely engrossed, unable to tear my eyes away from the pages. It was as if I had been transported into another world, one that was filled with excitement, mystery, and adventure.

By the time I reached the end of those 100 pages, I was hooked. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next, and I knew that I had discovered a gem of a book.
