This book presented quite a challenge for me to read. In fact, I didn't manage to complete it.

I did take pleasure in the accounts of marriage life during the campaign trail, along with the family and even the political narratives.

However, it could only hold my attention for a certain period of time. After that, I simply put it aside and picked up something else to read.

Perhaps the writing style or the complexity of the subject matter didn't fully engage me.

Nonetheless, I still found some aspects of the book interesting and worthwhile.

It's possible that if I had approached it with a different mindset or at a different time, I might have had a more fulfilling reading experience.

Overall, while it wasn't a book that I could fully immerse myself in, it did offer some valuable insights and entertainment for a while.

I am an avid fan of Connie Schultz. I truly feel that I have come to "know" her through her engaging columns and her Facebook page.

She is unwavering in her commitment to maintaining the civility of that page. She strictly prohibits any form of attacks, name-calling, or other inappropriate behavior. This book has further solidified my belief that Connie is indeed "good people."

In the book, she openly and sincerely discusses the challenges her husband faced during his first senate campaign. She also elaborates on her efforts to not lose herself and simply become a wife.

I am particularly drawn to her feminist perspective. I appreciate the detailed accounts she shares about her family and her upbringing in Ohio.

The book is a quick and enjoyable read. If you have an interest in politics, especially that of a progressive Democratic campaign, then this book is definitely for you. It is truly a breath of fresh air when compared to the current rancid politics associated with the White House.

Not a book I would have thought of reading (about a political campaign). At first glance, it didn't seem like something that would capture my attention. However, as I delved into it, I was pleasantly surprised.

But I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The author managed to present the complex world of a political campaign in a way that was both engaging and understandable.

Connie's wit and wisdom throughout the book kept it interesting. Her insights and observations added a layer of depth and humor to the story. It was refreshing to see a political campaign through her eyes.

Overall, this book was a pleasant surprise. It showed me that even a topic that I thought I wasn't interested in could be captivating if presented in the right way.

Very interesting -- I cannot imagine living the life of a politician and his/her family. The life of a politician is filled with unique challenges and pressures. They are constantly in the public eye, facing intense scrutiny and criticism. Every decision they make can have a significant impact on the lives of many people. Their family members also have to endure a great deal. They may have to sacrifice their privacy and face the same level of public attention.

Moreover, politicians often have to travel extensively, leaving their families behind for long periods. This can put a strain on their relationships and make it difficult to maintain a normal family life. In addition, the political environment can be highly competitive and cutthroat, which can take a toll on the mental and emotional well-being of politicians and their families.

Overall, the life of a politician and his/her family is not an easy one. It requires a great deal of strength, resilience, and sacrifice. While I may not be able to imagine living this life, I do have a great deal of respect for those who are willing to take on these challenges and serve their country and community.

I started reading this book and within just one day, I recommended it to four people. And guess what? I also managed to finish it within that same day.

It is truly an easy read that is not only highly entertaining but also very educational. It doesn't matter what your political views are. Although, perhaps I should double-check that broad statement.

What I really, really appreciated about this book was the "whole woman" perspective it offered. You see, in today's society, women are still grappling with the concept of "having it all" and trying to figure out exactly what that means. And unfortunately, this perspective often gets lost in the shuffle. But this book brings it to the forefront and really makes you think about it.

It's a book that I would highly recommend to anyone, especially those who are interested in understanding the complex issues that women face in today's world.

Finally, entertainment is what makes an article enjoyable to read. It can be achieved through the use of humor, interesting anecdotes, or engaging writing style. An entertaining article keeps the reader's attention from start to finish and leaves them with a positive impression.

I don't know a single thing about this woman or her husband.

However, based on the synopsis that has been provided, it would truly be fascinating to read about how a smart and independent woman manages to balance her own life and priorities with her husband's political life and the numerous demands that come along with it.

Balancing personal and professional lives is a challenge for many, but when one's spouse is involved in the highly public and demanding world of politics, the complexity multiplies.

It would be interesting to explore how she navigates the delicate balance between supporting her husband's political aspirations while still maintaining her own identity, pursuing her own goals, and taking care of her personal life.

Perhaps there are sacrifices she has to make, or maybe she has found unique ways to integrate both aspects seamlessly.

The story of such a woman would surely offer valuable insights and inspiration for others facing similar challenges in their relationships and lives.

Connie's remarkable humor and sharp wit truly sparkle throughout this engaging memoir.

It comes as no surprise that she is not only a Pulitzer Prize winner but also an outstanding advocate.

The deep love shared between her and Sherrod Brown is blatantly obvious, yet it is equally clear that she firmly maintains her own boundaries.

These boundaries are not to be crossed or pushed by any man, whether married to her or not.

Connie's story is a captivating blend of personal experiences, filled with laughter, love, and a strong sense of self.

Her ability to express herself with such authenticity and charm makes this memoir a must-read for anyone interested in a true and inspiring account of life.

It showcases her as a woman of great strength and character, who is unafraid to stand up for herself and her beliefs.

Overall, Connie's memoir is a testament to her remarkable life and the many lessons she has learned along the way.

The book's main emphasis lies on her husband's (successful) 2006 U.S. Senate race.

Nevertheless, there are also essays regarding the death of her father and how to deal with co-workers, among other topics.

I would recommend reading her previous book "Life Happens" first. This will provide more context for this current one, rather than it simply being "about politics."

By reading the earlier work, readers can gain a better understanding of the author's perspective and experiences, which in turn can enhance their appreciation of the new book.

The combination of personal and political aspects in this book makes it a unique and engaging read.

It offers insights into both the public and private lives of the author and her family, and how these two realms intersect.

Whether you are interested in politics, personal growth, or simply a good story, this book has something to offer.

There was truly nothing astonishing in this book, which left me feeling rather disappointed.

It seems that everyone is well aware that being involved in a political campaign implies a significant invasion of one's private life.

However, I don't believe this book delved any deeper or explored other aspects.

It simply presented the obvious fact without adding any new perspectives or insights.

Perhaps the author could have provided more in-depth analysis or personal anecdotes to make the content more engaging and thought-provoking.

As it stands, the book fails to offer anything substantial or unique, making it a rather forgettable read.
