I was finally able to stop smoking in Feb. 2011 after smoking for 10 years. I really do believe this book helped. Even if you aren't ready to quit you should check this book out. It's a no nonsense helpful book!

Amazing common sense approach to breaking down the blatant lies we have been taught and repeated to ourselves to justify smoking. Liberating!!

Unbelievable that I got the confidence and tools to quit smoking from a book that breaks downs all the lies that have been so ingrained in us to make us feel powerless to ever quit.

I started this book about a week before I added it on goodreads because I was very sceptical. NOW I would recommend Allen Carr's Easyway to any smoker who wants to stop smoking - it works and it doesn't make you feel deprived... One has nothing to loose.
I am no smoke free thank goodness for that. It feels seriously good too.

I didn’t quit straight away after reading this book, but it did help me when I did. Though I feel it suggests quitting cold turkey, I’ve quit with the help of lozenges. Still, it’s a useful book.

I honestly hated this book. I have heard amazing things about it from many who quit smoking through reading this book or other Carr books. I am a therapist. I know theory. I know what brain washing is and cognitive distortions and the lies we tell ourselves about smoking.

I haven't had a cigarette in 23 days, but just finished the book today. I am doing this my way and this book had nothing to do with my success. I feel like it was the biggest waste of my time and I wish I could get back the 2.5 hours that I spent reading the book.

Yipee! I am a non-smoker!

I listened to the audible (itunes) as I read along. I started the book in April 2018; got terribly nervous about quitting and put it down for two months. I've completed the book; reviewed some chapters (DEVASTION). I'm thrilled to be a non-smoker and believe that Easy Way to Quit Smoking has worked for me. The Easy Way to Lose Weight has worked for me; I have zero desire for processed foods, added sugars and beef. I've lost 25 lbs. in a couple of months. Now I've lost that nagging desire to smoke. I'm FREE!

I read this book, once before almost 10 years ago and successfully stopped smoking, happily for 7 years before I unfortunately fell back into the trap and remained in it for the best part of 3 years, but having read the book again I have a good understanding of why and how I fell into the trap and how to avoid falling back into it in the future. I cannot believe how easily I have become of of those happy non-smokers just as he said, so much so that when I think of smoking I smile and can’t believe I am free. This time I intend to stay out of the trap forever

This book genuinely changed my life. I quit a dozen times before I read this and it's the only time I've ever really felt free of cigarettes for good.
