The hell did I just read?!
The same few sentences about every ailment having a natural cure and how he can't tell you what it is because of censorship appear in this book on every other page. FOR 500 PAGES. Infuriatingly repetitive.

Although there is a lot of accuracy in this book as far as diet, and general well-being are concerned, it seems the author cares more about making money than he does helping the general public. He references his website, & his other books numerous times. However, a membership is required if you wish to see the information he is referencing. My personal opinion is that this book is easy to read to target the general population and lure them into paying his membership fees.

The book was definitely interesting. I agree with probably 2/3rds of his ideas. There were a number of points where he would repeat himself or his statistics, though usually supporting different arguments on different topics, so it wasn't too bad, it just felt weird, like he forgot that you had just read the previous chapter.

One thing that this book does help you remember is that you need to take interest in your own health and that any current medical belief can and will be overturned and improved in the future. There is no reason to blindly trust a doctor with your health.

Some of his ideas were a bit far fetched and made me chuckle that he would write it. For example he mentions using Apple Cider Vinegar in place of some other thing because it 'has some magical property that...'. :) Ha! 'Magical property'. But even with the dorky writing style, he has a lot of good ideas throughout the book, I'd just recommend that you read the book with a grain of salt. Organic sea salt apparently would be best ;)

I've got a copy to lend if you are nearby.

Learned a great deal from reading this book about health and how it gets derailed and what to do to get back on track. Probably, might have been a shorter book, if not for the great deal of repetition (possibly to drive the point home). At any rate, Natural Cures is information and nicely written.

It went on and on and on without really getting anywhere for many long chapters and was depressing and overwhelming. I eventually flipped ahead to the "short list of easy things to do to stay healthy" and skimmed that to see if it was worth continuing to slog through. The lists, plural, were anything but short and would be crazy difficult, time consuming, and expensive to do, plus apparently require a lot of outside research, and some of them were things I disagree with. So done with that!

ok, so the author is a known scam artist. but hey, could be it takes one to know one -- i am pretty much with him on the subject of the food and drug industries having us very conveniently in a vise which they're constantly turning more tightly. i was going to give him the benefit of the doubt, though i kept a large sack of salt next to me.

but i am sorry, i cannot take a book seriously that leads early on with the statement that animals in the wild don't get sick like we do. what a bunch of utter horseshit; big pharma did not invent disease. animals do get sick, and many of them die prematurely because they have limited health care (some actually self-medicate, which is a fascinating subject all in itself, and something we might well learn from -- check out Wild Health: How Animals Keep Themselves Well and What We Can Learn From Them).

humans, too, died from diseases long before we had a food and drug administration, big pharma, and lobbyists.

i quickly paged through to look at some of the promised cures "they" don't want us to know about, but it seems trudeau doesn't really want us to know about them either, at least not in this book -- to actually find out about them you'd have to subscribe to his website -- for a price. ha. nice scam ya got going there, kev. why can i not give this 0 stars to mark it as "unmitigated crap"?

I read this book 20 some years ago. I found it extremely informative. And I bought 2 different suggestions that worked. Kevin didn’t sell anything but information. I had arthritis in my hand. My dr took X-rays etc to confirm. But Kevin said magnets and I ordered them. Not only is the arthritis gone - it has never come back. And oil of oregano will cure the Herpes virus. If you get fever blisters you will test positive for herpes and Kevin’s book was right. Period

. This book is a great read. I'm glad I found this book. This book allowed me to believe that there was a reason for my hunch to question the "standard protocol". You don't have to absorb everything the guy is saying but he is now in prison for quiet some time because of these claims. It's great insight on what you can do differently to benefit your health. Read the China study, the guy talks about being on a board where the guy he looked up to kicked him off because when he found out he was corrupt and for not being on the same page, he had no obligation to be on his team. Read dr. Ornish reversing heart disease. When he found a proven program to reverse heart disease the doctor's or hospital didn't want to carry the program. They didn't refer patients to him but instead brought him their own family members. This book will allow you to view things from multiple perspectives. Be open minded. I'm no doctor but am an athlete. I make no claim that this book can cure or fix any problems.
If you have discipline to stick to a remedy and try it for months on end with little progress but still persist, things can change. But if your the type that says yolo what's one burger gonna do or I love grease, yeah this book is probably not for you. But if you cringe a change and know that the little things add up to big things, get the golden nuggets out of this book. I find this one all the time at the Goodwill stores. Cheap!
Read the slight edge or the compound effect if you give up easily. I wish all the best for you, and to your success! Best regards.

P.S. there is also a 2014 revised edition to this book which is a lot shorter without additional excess commentary. Thank you.

This book could have been have the length but he rants on about the FDA and FTC that takes up much of the book. He has good ideas as to the possible causes of diseases and ailments and steps we can take to possibly prevent them.

This book is so A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, it almost is inspiring enough to go for a career change! Holisitic medicine anyone?... I love how boldly this books speaks out about all the lies that are kept hidden from the public from the FDA, the FTC, and the pharmaceutical companies. The health care and food industry in this country is putting us in severe danger and it is only going to get worse. My advice...don't be deceived...and READ THIS BOOK!!!!

Very contradictory. Some good info but is then discredited by false info such as the statement that "nurses are given gifts and money in an attempt to induce them to administer drugs from a specific manufacturer". Being a nurse myself I takes exception to that statement, we all know nurses do not "administer drugs from a specific manufacturer".Nurses administer drugs under doctor's orders and supervision. That is but one obvious misrepresentation of truths. Like I said, there may be some good info but after numerous false statements I just don't have the energy or desire to try and figure it all out. By the way Mr Trudeau,if " the FTC and FDA have promised to prosecute me if I tell you the products to use that cure or prevent disease ", how do you dare to give your web site with instructions on how to obtain them? By the way I do not subscribe to big pharmacy myself. Readers please be objective, don't believe EVERYTHING you read. Thanks and stay healthy
