Did not like this book. He has great theories that might work if you were isolated from the world but not really realistic. The writing is horrible, he says the same things over and over again.
did you know that jumping on a mini-tramp everyday can cure most, if not all, medical problems? WOW! ok, there's more to this book than that - but I didn't find much value in any of it.
Someone gave this book to me, with a recommendation that it was an excellent book, full of great information, blah, blah, blah. No way. This book was full of common sense knowledge and promises of future information if you buy more things this man offers. It was complete and utter bullshit. The book can be summarized in two sentences. "The FDA sucks and they are out to get me (and you). Eat properly, avoid additives and preservatives and you won't feel as bad as you do now." I am, however, astounded at the author's sheer marketing genius. Not many people can make millions saying absolutely nothing. He must have balls of steel.
I was ok with this book and thought he probably had some good points about doctors definitely prescribing too many drugs to people and not really working with them to keep them healthy because they were all after the all mighty dollar. But he lost me when he claimed that he couldn't actually reveal any of his secrets because the FDA would confiscate his books BUT you could get them by joining his members only area of his web site (can you say hypocrite!). Also when he started in on the no-vax line, I couldn't even finish the book.
This book is very interesting and eye opening. To sum it up, basically everything is bad for you that isn't organic. The problem is organic stuff is very expensive. Maybe if they put prices where the average person can afford them, we will have a healthier country.
Groundless propaganda! It's all a fear/conspiracy based "they" are after you with blatantly erroneous tidbits of examples like "animals never get cancer, diabetes...". He is not a scientist, and alternates between bashing the scientific process for not being able to cure anything and then for not studying the "miracle cures" that he thinks the evil medical community should be using.
While I do agree that the system is flawed, I think his rabble-rousing attempts to incite feelings of anger and oppression in the masses (without educating them) is the poorest approach anyone can take.
Do not read this book! It will drive you crazy and make you paranoid. Even if everything Trudeau says is true, there is absolutely no way anyone other than a millionare (which Trudeau is many times over) can live the kind of lifestyle he suggests. Therefore, his book leaves the reader feeling depressed, doomed and fearful. He does give some good advice, and leaning toward being a conspiracist at times myself, I found I agreed with a lot of what he says. Still, the ultimate problem is that the average American simply does not have the budget for the lifestyle he suggests. If you are interested in this topic, then research some other authors with a little better reputation. Trudeau mostly just refers you to his website (for which there is a monthly subscription fee) to access any specific information.
According to Mr. Trudeau, the most natural of natural cures is being healthy in the first place. So apparently "They" don't want you to be healthy in the first place... Thank you doctor, I’ll be writing my book now; it’s called "Best Copouts: Never Get in Trouble".
Now I have heard of the "miracles" received after following the book's instructions, about people feeling better in one or two of the categories tested, but some of the author's "proof" comes off as a little much. I mean, did FDA agents armed with pistols really break into one of his testimony meetings? Are his hair shampoos really causing his eyes to burn out, all to the benefit of other companies with miracle eye drops? Who really knows. I sure don't.
While I believe that there is some credibility to what this guy has to say, the flagrant whistle blowing, conspiracy theory, practically yelling manner in which this guy writes drives me nuts.....
