Photonovel of the film, much in the style pioneered by Richard J. Anobile, i.e. every shot represented by a still image, with corresponding dialogue underneath. Video, DVD etc made this kind of thing unnecessary, but still cool to have. It's in black and white, which is disappointing. Presented in colour (where appropriate), I could happily study photonovel editions of all K's movies.

Very hard to follow. A bit strange and savage. Not a wholesome read.

عايز أعلق على نقطة هامشية بعيدة نوعا ما عن رسالة الكتاب متمثلة في ان هنا الكتاب خرج من الوصفة المعتادة بتاعة الاحداث المتعاقبة المترتبة على بعضها ومن ثم الوصول لاستنتاج نهائي يحمله القراء ويتناقشوا حوله، بحركة بسيطة جدا كسرت التسلسل دا بسر على مستوى خاص يعرفه القارئ ولا يعرفه المجتمع الداخل في الكتاب، فأصبح النتيجة النهائية الي وصل ليها شخصيات الكتاب مشكوك في صحتها. فبقى القارئ مخير خيارين إما يمارس العمى ويتماشى مع القرار النهائي الي اتفقوا عليه، او يحمل على نفسه انه يعيد النظر في ممارسة غير إنسانية. مما يدخل الواحد في دوامة من الأسئلة عن هل مصداقية النتائج العملية يصح إنها تتأثر بالاستجابة الاجتماعية، يمكن دا اكتر تساؤل سيطر على بالي بعد انتهاء القراءة ودا يمكن يوضح قد ايه انا بحب الكتب الطموحة الي مبتكتفيش بسرد فكرة وخلاص

Blew my mind and made me want to write satire/sci-fi.

Not an easy read, but highly thought-provoking. Kubrick's creation of a new jargon and new societal norms was excellent.There are parts that would be upsetting to some readers.
