Loved the Mr men series by Roger Hargreaves. Was always a pleasure to read these books with my children.

Mr. Bump is accident prone. He has so much in common with my nephew. The boy is a walking accident. He is not present and does not pay attention to his surroundings, just like Mr. Bump. So, I have started calling him Mr. Bump.

The nephew loves these books. This was a fun little book and his first ones were just great. This book is older than me and still around and entertaining people so I have hope for myself.

Why are we never clued in as to how Mr. Bump received his large and apparently persistent abdominal wound?!

This is an epic book(like the other Mr Men books)! Mr Bump is trying to get a job but whatever he does he fails.He takes a holiday but fails there.But there is one job he can do.Read the book to find out.

Mr Bump I friendly and kind but can't help his habit of bumping into things if there is anything to bump into he will! These things make it hard to find a job but he finds one that suits him perfectly eventually.

X-man is still a little young for the moral - but loves the loud exclaims of BUMP! and CRASH! throughout this book.

this was written before forest gump, and the fact that the names rhyme is certainly no coincidence. unlike with gump, the success he finds through his inability is much more true to life. and yet we call mr. bump a kid's book.

Bought while in Greece so I could practice the alphabet/language.

Quite a cute little story about a very accident prone person.

A story with a nice message: everybody has a purpose.

It's the iconic illustrations alongside the simple but fun stories that have given the Mr. Men such long lasting appeal, that's certainly the case with Mr. Bump.

Whilst the story of an accident prone character who finally settled on a job best suited to him, it's the imagine of the bandaged blue fella that makes him one of the more memorable books in the series.
