I enjoyed this immensely. Mary's story was both uplifting and tragic all in one, but it truly gave me a better understanding of God's love for us all. The only downside for me was the underlying aspect of romance with nigal, not really a romance fan, but it was easily overlooked. This is my first book by this author, but I'm definitely hooked. Love that her books are Christ centered and will definitely be reading more of her work.

I LOVE this book!
Having had been violated myself, I was able to identify with this book. I could feel the main characters emotions. Karen has a gift to be able to 'be' this victum/survivor of abuse and to express the REAL emotions Mary had.
I felt as if I was Mary going though this horrific event and her survival process of 'paying it forward' to other victums.
I would recommend this book to my fellow abused woman. It gives hope! It gives respect to us! And love and acceptance!
This book could be a true story! It was that well-written.

I've been a non-fiction reader for a long time. THIS book has turned me into a woman's fiction fan!

A modern version of Mary Magdalene, Mary Madison suffered all kinds of abuse as a child and young adult until she meets Jesus. There are two stories here, one is Mary's story as she tells it to another young woman who is suffering, Emma. Their stories are hard to read, but both are rescued in the end. I read the whole thing in one afternoon, it was compelling.

Such an Emotional story. Loved how the story focused on the pain and hurt of more than one character. How the decisions one makes really impacts others in ways we sometimes cant imagine.
Though with the charator of Grace i felt that she should have pushed and tried more to reach out to her child
really enjoyed this.

When I began this book only a few chapters in I thought no Lord I can’t handle this right now. I put it down for a couple weeks. I am so glad I picked it back up to see God rescue, redeem, and become Glorified through Mary’s story. The story reminded me over and over He is the one true love that I need.

All I can say is "Wow." For being an e-book freely given, this story just overwhelmed me. I haven't cried over a book in a long time, but this one definitely touched me enough to start the waterworks.
Karen Kingsbury is exceptional in her writing of this book. She carries you through the life of Mary Madison with such feeling as it is converyed to a young mother struggling to find her way though a similar lifestyle until she finds her way with the love of the Lord.
To be ever faithful and full of hope through such unspeakable attrocities such as she suffered, Mary Madison was a very strong and wonderful character. Telling her life tory to Emma, a young, suicidal mother in her shelter, and leading her to a spirtual and lovinving relationship with Jesus is definitely a "Divine" read!

I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an emotional, but uplifting Christian work of fiction.

This book is one of the most touching, soul-stirring books I’ve read in a long time. The restoring power of our Divine Jesus is portrayed so beautifully in Mary Madison’s story. Karen has such a gift to weave incredible storytelling into the gospel message, which is at the heart of all of her books

This is an awe-inspiring book! This book is proof (even if it is a fictional story) of just how important our own Jesus stories are to share. Jesus wants us to share Him with everyone!
