What can I say I love Kermit the frog, oh yes and Jim Henson. I love reading these short stories / poems / sayings to my boys. One of my favorite phrases is "It's Not Easy Being Green." This is a book that I can pick and just read one or two pages and get inspired by. I can read it over and over again. Love it!

Very inspirational book full of quotes from Jim Henson, the Muppets, Fraggle Rock, and the people and productions Henson created over the years. Henson was one of those men who touched so many lives through his work.

Whether it comes from song lyrics, thoughts from his journals, or words of wisdom from his coworkers; each quote in this book has the ability to lift you up and inspire you to greater things. Well, that's what it did for me anyway.

A quick read as it is just a collection of quotes from Jim talking about his work and life, Muppet characters speaking philosophically, and Jim's colleagues describing the genius behind the magic.

The book also had these delightful drawings done by Jim that are not only cute and simple but add a childlike wonder and magic to the reading.

It was a joyful read full of insight and inspiration. Jim was truly a genius that achieved greatness through hard work, following his passions and being kind, gentle and optimistic about the world and existence. We like him and his work because of the noble and simple philosophy he embodied. We want that simplicity, hope, joy, and magic and thus that world. And we can't help but appreciate the man and connect fondly with the Muppets.

This was a great collection of quotes, many of which I had to copy. It's a must read for all Henson and Muppet fans as it is a short book and filled with some of the most encouraging and inspiring thoughts on work, art making, and life.

There are some surprisingly moving and beautiful poems included in this book.
Henson was a driven but incredibly kind and thoughtful man who left a wonderful legacy for all of us, both young and old.

Jim Henson was one of the only "celebrities" that I literally burst into tears when I learned of his death. This book is a collection of quotes by and about Jim Henson and the characters he played. For example:

This is a very sweet book of quotations and thoughts from Jim Henson, his colleagues, family and friends. There are also quotes from Muppets and Fraggles--which is great, because I love those characters. Lots of good words to live by, and you can't help but smile as you read them. Many of the songs and lyrics in the book are still a part of Sesame Street--I know because it's my son's absolute favorite show! This is a lovely little book.

This was a good collection of quotes not just from Jim Henson, but his family, co-workers, and through Kermit himself about Jim.

The foreward mentions that this book collects various quotes from different sources and interviews so it was nice to read some for the first time. A lot of great and inspirational thoughts from a man that I think embodied them well and contributed to others in his immediate circle and have then passed it forward
