Occasionally you might get a good laugh in a book BUT 3 times I laughed so hard that I could barely breathe! I never expected such real humor.
I usually read technical books or reread classics, so I just wanted a bit of fluff. Wow! I got one of the top 3 funniest books that I have ever read. (I read about 2 books a week). I was so happy that I went to bed and slept like a baby.
I won't spoil this evaluation by giving away the funny parts....but look for the zipper part.

Sometimes this was LOL with "southernisms." I wanted to strangle the reader of the audiobook - too many pauses, more like caesuras-way too long for listening pace. Most of the way through the book it seemed to pick up, but maybe I just got used to it. I really really wanted to knock Debbie Sue and Buddy in the head for being so blind. Light mystery.

You can't not have a good time when reading this! I read a couple of the other books in this series before starting on this one, so it was good to see how Debbie Sue and Edwina got started in the sleuthing business (while not working in the Styling Station of course!). Very entertaining series and very likeable heroines!
