It is just a children's book of animals on each page with flaps on the bottom to let the animals play peek-a-boo with your child. It's more of a game than a book.

Heard this at story time. Wasn't a fan. We'll give it another go so he can lift the flaps and make sounds when he's a bit older.

Farm animals play peek-a-boo. Er, moo.

Big bright pull down flaps show a variety of animals playing "Peek-a…" and you finish the phrase with the sound the animal makes: for example, "Peek-a-Oink!" when you see the top of a pig peeking out from behind the flap. Everyone had fun finishing the phrase with the animal sounds.
