Este libro es el tercero de una trilogía y me siento muy feliz haberla podido terminar antes que acabe el año. Es totalmente sorprendente como el autor narra esta historia, sin dudas Zafón es garantía.
"Las luces de Septiembre" fue mi libro favorito de la trilogía, me atrapó recién después de las primeras 30 páginas, y lo devore en un día! Siendo que, siempre me tomo mi tiempo para leer pero esas ganas de saber que pasaba a continuación no saciaban.
Sinopsis:
Un misterioso fabricante de juguetes vive recluido en una mansión gigantesca poblada de seres mecánicos y sombras del pasado. Un enigma en torno a las extrañas luces que brillan entre la niebla que rodea el islote del faro. Una criatura de pesadilla que se oculta en la profundidad del bosque. Estos y otros elementos tejen la trama del misterio que unirá a Irene e Ismael para siempre durante un mágico verano en Bahía Azul.

Styl autora jak zawsze mnie zachwycił, niestety sama historia dość mocno rozczarowała. Nie czułam zupełnie tego tajemniczego klimatu, jak w poprzednich tomach.

OK - So Carlos Ruiz Zafon, his young adult novels are all pretty similar. They all have a similar feel. A shadowy ghosty figure, in the mist killing lovers, chasing young kids. A body washed onshore. things ending in fire, with young kids telling the tale from later on. There is often a lighthouse, and island, motherless neglected children. Its scary and dark and psychological, and sort of not for me. But he was my author of the year, and I reread the entire Shadow of the Wind Series, and ended with Labryinth of the Spirits, and had already read Marina, and now these three young adult novels. So what shall I say about this one? Set in Normandy France. Well, its a lot like the others that is for sure. There is an appearance of Andreas Corelli from the Angel's Game, and some similar themes there. And there is the theme and reference to September Lights - which is.... the name of his next novel, set to come out this year. September Lights. Will I read it? Of course I will. I am a sucker to finish a story and an authors set of works, once I set out to do it.

Just a rare few of you may have wondered who is my author of the year for 2020. It is.... Da Da Da...
Taylor Jenkins Reid. Although I would like to knock off a book or two from some other authors in 2020. I have decided I will also try for 1 Joshilyn Jackson, 1 Beatrice Williams, 1 JoJo Moyes, 1 Melanie Benjamin, and 1 Lucinda Riley. Just for fun! What is my Series for 2020? Well I believe I am choosing Robert Balsam and the Once We Were Brothers Series. There is like 6 of them now, and I am going for that in 2020. And I even think I have added a new challenge. Remarkable Woman in Historical Fiction. I think da da da... There are like four books on my TBR for Cleopatra. So - I think its her! Cleopatra! I predict a strong year of cleaning out my TBR and being more discriminate in what I add. I also do hope to get rid of 15 owned books if I can.

Somewhere on the path of life, when adulthood looms large and we end up seeing the horizons of the impending twilight more frequently than we would wish to, there are stops of childhood sped past that we reminisce the most - they make for some of our best memories, and subconsciously, our best lessons.

Irene and Ismael cast a similar warm, gratifying glance to a decade back in Zafon's magical and twisted world in this book, where the two teenagers accidentally met, and fought, one of their toughest enemies who neither had a face nor a structure. In the rain-washed coast of Normandy, their lives registered a chapter where friendship, love, family, belief, courage and loss were all put to test, amid gorgeous creations and ghastly revelations, and prepared them for the bigger battles ahead.

The story borders on a thriller that kisses the beauty of language every now and then, and appears a tad less menacing, only to rise again in its intimidating but transfixing dance. The reveals towards the final pages turned little weak for me and I felt my boat leaving the coast a tad too soon. But for the love of pace and magical realism, and the inimitable allure of Zafon's lyrical canvas, a visit to Blue Bay wasn't regretted at all.

Su šia knyga užbaigiau savo kelionę per mylimo Zafon bibliografiją. Pirmosios trys jo knygos parašytos 1990s buvo skirtos YA. Jis jas rašė tokias, kokias pats būtų norėjęs skaityti būdamas dvylikametis. Čia persipina nuotykiai įkvėpti Jules Vernes ir mistika, gėrio ir blogio kova, lyg iš Jekyll and Hyde.
Jau perskaičius visas jo knygas, galiu pamatyti kaip jo stilius išsigrynino. Visos jo mėgiamos temos, sąmojis, talentas sukurti tikrą istoriją, galiausiai nusotabiai atsiskleidė paskutinėse jo knygose.

YA fantastikos neskaitau nebent ją parašė Zafon. Į jo knygas labai lengva įsijausti, net nepastebi kaip pradeda vaidentis garsai namuose ar darosi baisu naktį pereiti koridoriumi. Kartu su personažais jauti įtampą ir tvyrantį pavojų už kampo. Greitas tempas, mažai dalyvių, sukuria tarsi burbulą, kuriame atsiduri atsivertus knygą ir išjauti visas personažų emocijas kartu su jais.
Įprastai nieko necituoju tekstuose, bet šį kart noriu įdėti ištrauką iš Zafon baigiamojo žodžio knygoje, kur jis kalba apie savo pirmąsias YA knygas parašytas karjeros pradžioje.

No es lo mejor que leí del autor, sin embargo me gustó mucho. Es un libro de misterio para pasar el rato, se lee muy rápido y como siempre zafón nos sorprende con sus palabras que forman imagenes y sentimientos muy humanos.
El libro narra sobre una madre y dos hijos que se van a vivir a un pueblo donde trabajaban para un fabricante de juguetes. Al igual que casi todos los libros de zafón la historia gira en torno a los personajes y su pasado. En especial la de este peculiar señor cuya vida es un misterio y lo llevó a vivir en una casa llena de autómatas y una esposa enferma a la que nunca se la ve despierta.
Si les gusta el misterio con un poco de fantasía se los recomiendo un montón!

Such an addictive read! Zafón is a genius!!

Esta historia me transmitió suspenso , curiosidad y pensaba que iba a terminar de una manera sufrida y triste, pero me gustó el cierre de la historia.
Amé leer el nombre Andreas Corelli en este libro, leer esta trilogía de la niebla me dió el contexto que yo necesitaba para cerrar mis dudas del Juego del Ángel.
Lo único que me da tristeza es que solo me quedan 2 obras más y finalizo de leer todo lo que escribió Zafon.

No sé por qué no me gustó tanto como los anteriores, creo que si lo hubiera leído antes que los anteriores mi rating sería más alto

Personalmente, esta fue la que menos me gustó de la trilogía.
Al leerla tenía la sensación de estas colchas de ganchillo que se hacen engarzando distintos trozos de otras telas y tapetes, sólo que en estas, los evidentes puntos de unión forman parte de su belleza, como un adorno más. Aquí resultaban una cicatriz, como una interrupción en la continuidad, no sé.
Es como si ya la hubiera leído antes, a trozos, a retales de mil orígenes.
No es que no disfrutara la historia, pero no logré entrar del todo en ella. GL (Libre. Zafón)

'Las luces de septiembre' es una novela de misterio muy bien escrita, con una ambientación y unos personajes que te atraparán desde el primer momento. Un libro corto pero intenso que te hará sentir mil emociones.

“Las luces de septiembre”, una obra de Carlos Ruiz Zafón, es un libro que me ha dejado con sentimientos encontrados. Al principio, la historia se me hizo larga y poco interesante, lo que hizo que me costara sumergirme en su mundo. Sin embargo, a medida que avanzaba la trama (a más de la mitad del libro), la historia comenzó a captar mi atención y finalmente logró engancharme.

El autor tiene un don para la descripción detallada y la construcción de un ambiente misterioso, pero en este caso, sentí que la historia tardó demasiado en despegar. La primera parte del libro se me hizo un poco lenta y carecía del gancho necesario para mantenerme completamente involucrada.

Sin embargo, hacia el final, la historia se volvió más interesante y emocionante. La trama se intensificó y fue el que acabó de engancharme por fin. A pesar de esto, la resolución de la historia me pareció precipitada. Se resolvió de la nada en las últimas 30 páginas, lo que me dejó con la sensación de que faltaba desarrollo en la conclusión.

En resumen, “Las luces de septiembre” es un libro que tiene sus momentos de brillo, pero que también tiene sus fallos. Le doy 3 estrellas de 5, ya que aunque la historia finalmente logró captar mi interés, el ritmo inconsistente y la resolución apresurada me dejaron algo que desear.
