No hay nada, NADA, que yo pueda decir que le haga justicia a esta, o cualquier otra obra del autor, pero lo voy a intentar...

Ustedes pueden decir lo que quieran sobre que a todas las novelas que tiene CRZ y que me he leído, les he dado 5 estrellas, pero la magia que el autor es capaz de brindar a través de las paginas es única en este planeta. Los personajes y los lugares tan tenebrosos, así como las historias que engloban cada una de sus obras me absorben de un modo que ningún otro autor puede hacer.

Las palabras nunca son suficientes para describir el trabajo de Carlos Ruiz Zafon…

Las Luces de Septiembre es probablemente su argumento más imaginativo, y tiene todos los elementos de misterio y suspenso; un personaje enigmático, una casa enorme y llena de habitaciones por descubrir donde viven criaturas mecánicas de miedo, un pueblo chico, una leyenda de fantasmas y una familia queriendo un nuevo comienzo. Si, este libro tiene todos los elementos que todas las novelas de suspenso tienen, y aun así es mucho mejor y mucho más emocional. Al clásico estilo del autor.

No tengo nada más que palabras positivas.

Les aseguro que si lo que quieren es tener una novela rápida con elementos sobrenaturales y una escritura incomparable que te enganche, la trilogía de la niebla debería ser su opción numero uno. Altamente recomendado.

Esta es una recomendación seria, de verdad. Denle una oportunidad al autor, es simplemente único.

What a great final to the series. I might not have liked book 3 as much as the first one but it was a lot stronger in my opinion than the second book.

The Watcher in the Shadows is set in pre-second world war France and again tells the story of two young people meeting each other because one of the recently relocated with their family. (This has happened also in book 1) They are met by a small community that seems to hide a secret connected with the old toymaker living nearby in a big mansion. Something dark is waiting for them and hiding in the shadows to get its hands on them.

I liked this book because it features many themes that I adore. It also has an eerily atmosphere (very gothic-like) and reminded me of an all-time favorite of mine: Der Sandmann by E.T.A Hoffmann.

Also, I listened to this series on audio which worked really well. If you are looking for a fast-paced read and enjoy reading about dark secrets and looming shadows I would recommend this series to you.

I admit that the series has its shortcomings - it’s a little too predictable and seems to be repetitive in its themes from the first to the last story. As these are some early works by Carlos Ruiz Zafón I am really looking forward to discovering more books by him. Any recommendation on what to read next?

Καθαρό 5αρι. Το πιο καλό από την τριλογία που αρκετές φορές με έβαλε τόσο πολύ μέσα στην ιστορία που ανατριχιαζα ολόκληρη ενώ αγχωνομουν με και για τους ήρωες!

Το δεύτερο ήταν αρκετά απογοητευτικό και το ξεκίνησα με βαριά καρδιά, αλλά από τις πολύ πρώτες σελίδες με κέρδισε! Το σίγουρο είναι ότι ποτέ ξανά δεν θα δω τους ίσκιους μας με το ίδιο βλέμμα...
Ο Αντρέα Κορέλι κάνει ένα μικρό πέρασμα και παρότι πάντα τον είχα στην μπούκα του κανονιού, χάρηκα σα να συνάντησα παλιό καλό φίλο.

An interesting read.

This book is intended for a younger audience, but for myself, I would have liked to have seen this idea created for an older demographic. I know that children will appreciate not reading a book that is condescending, as some children's books can be, they will like a book that is cleverly written and intriguing. But still, I would be interested to see how it would have worked aiming for an older audience.

The plot of the mystery, was very interesting, I liked the supernatural side to it, though at times it felt rushed and not enough time had been given to adding more detail. Lazarus was one of my favourite characters, as the mystery centred all around him. But I also thought Irene was a good main character to move the plot along.

The mystery kept me reading and guess what the ending would possible be, and though I guessed a few things, I certainly did not guess it all! I liked the ending, I thought it fitted very well.

I have not read the first two books in their series, but I was informed that it did not matter. I know, when reading this book, I did not feel at any point that I was unsure about what was going on because I had not read the other books. I did enjoy the writing style and I want to read more by this author.

I also thought the front cover design was beautiful.

I read this as part of my 2015 Reading Challenge, the category was to read a mystery or thriller.

Zadnji, i po mojoj ocjeni,najbolji dio trilogije.Ideja o tvornici igračaka koje izgledaju kao da su žive,izazvat će jezu i kod "najneotpornijeg" čitatelja.
Ovom zadnjim knjigom priznajem da sam prilično zasićena Zafonovim sjenama,mračnim zakutcima i nadnaravnim.

“As Luzes de Setembro” findam a trilogia Neblina e terminam igualmente a minha leitura de toda a obra publicada de Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Ainda bem que terminei com este livro, porque me redimiu da última leitura (“O Palácio da Meia-Noite”) que esteve longe de me encher as medidas… Já esta história voltou a colocar Zafón em lugar de destaque na literatura mundial, na minha opinião! Este autor escreve de uma maneira tão própria e tão boa!

Lazarus Jann jest wynalazcą zabawek mieszkającym we wspaniałej rezydencji znajdującej się w Normandii. Inżynier mieszka w niej wraz z ciężko chorą żoną oraz kucharką, postanawia jednak zatrudnić dodatkowo do pomocy ochmistrzynię. Ta oferta pracy okazuje się być wybawieniem dla Simone Sauvelle, która po śmierci męża została z dwójką dzieci bez środków do życia. Tym sposobem cała trójka wprowadza się do ogromnego domu nad morzem. Początkowo wszystko układa się bez większych problemów, ale gdy kucharka zostaje odnaleziona martwa, wszystko zaczyna się komplikować.

Trylogia mgły i ostatnia książka z dorobku autora już za mną. Nie jest to na pewno poziom Cmentarza zapomnianych książek, jednak nie można odmówić tym książkom klimatu. Gdybym była nastolatką, pewnie podobałyby mi się bardziej, jednak PESEL jest nieubłagany :)

У мене усе просто: бачу новий переклад Сафона, купую новий переклад Сафона. Не читаю анотацію, бо нашо? Тут, як і в решті мало пов’язаних між собою книг цієї серії, будуть підлітки, смерть і дещо таємничо-жорстоке. Єдина особливість: хотілося прочитати книгу у вересні)))

Simone consegue emprego como governanta em Cravenmoore, um casarão palaciano pertencente a um fabricante de brinquedos chamado Lazarus. Irene conhece Ismael, um marinheiro e os dois vivem uma paixão adolescente. Mas, logo os dois jovens descobrem que estão envolvidos em uma trama horripilante, que envolve Cravenmoore e o próprio Lazarus.
“As Luzes de Setembro” concluem a trilogia da Neblina, inicialmente escrita para adolescentes tornou-se num marco da literatura, podendo ser lida por qualquer faixa etária.
Cada volume conta uma história independente e deste modo podem ser lidos numa ordem aleatória.

Esta novela, se la considera la ultima de la trilogia de la niebla, aunque pueden leerse independientemente los tres libros.

En esta historia, tenemos a Simone, que se queda viuda con dos hijos (Irene y Damian), y decide aceptar un trabajo como ama de llaves de una mansión de un fabricante de juguetes, un hombre muy peculiar y muy misterioso, ya que toda la casa esta llena de juguetes, sin haber un solo niño en la casa.

Irene conoce a un chico (Ismael) por medio de Hannah, la prima de este y que también trabaja en la mansión y Dorian, explorara toda la zona de su nueva ciudad.
Todo parece ir de lujo, ya que tienen trabajo, casa y pueden asisitir a la escuela, gracias al fabricante de juguetes, hasta que empiezan a ocurrir cosas extrañas.

Los protagonistas, al igual que en las dos novelas anteriores, son adolescentes con misterios del pasado. La protagonista Irene, me ha gustado mucho, una niña muy valiente y fuerte que luchara por lo que mas quiere, ademas su hermano Dorian, me parece que tiene mucha fuerza ya que es un niño pequeño pero que sabe perfectamente lo que quiere.

Me ha resultado una lectura muy entretenida, desde el principio me ha tenido enganchada, y creo qu esta es la historia que mas me ha gustado de los tres libros, el autor te logra mantener con un gran interes desde la primera pagina, con un lenguaje y una pluma muy ágil y fluido.

Una historia que tiene suspense, mucha intriga y hasta un toque de amor entre algún personaje, que no se le da muchísima importancia, y eso lo agradezco porque sino la historia hubiera decaído bastante. Esta ambientado en 1937, y hace uso de lo sobrenatural para que el lector distinga entre el bien.y el mal, y ademas el paso de la madurez en los niños.

Un libro muy recomendable, si no has leído nada de Zafón, puedes empezar por esta trilogia, porque es maravillosa y te deja con ganas de conocer mas!
